I was wondering if the exercise Tiffany showed on StarKing
was really effective if it was done about 3-5 times daily?
As well as eating healthy of course, which means
staying away from junk food (or trying to!),
and eating a lot of fruits & vegetables!
If so, how long would it take to firm someone's legs?

i find it to be effective
and i do it 3 times a day
it reallly tones your legs and seriously turns it into all muscle

Hmm~ I haven't seen any difference yet...
but that's probably cause I've only been doing it for a couple of days now x)
I'm pretty sure it'll help get your legs firmer and more toned though

it seems similar to jump rope (without the rope), but thats just me.
It looks effective since you feel motivated if someone is doing it with you.

Hehe....I think I'm gonna try it out....and if feeling motivated is the key....I'll print out a pic of SNSD's Genie promotion photo..then I'll feel motivated to get legs like that...hehe

Ohhh, I saw this earlier this week! Tiffany is my favourite SNSD member haha. The exercise itself looks interesting. If enough people have positive things to say about it, I'll totally try it!

I already have the same leg measurements as her, and my calves are tones because I naturally walk on my toes, so I just have good calves, but I could deffo use more in my thighs xP

I started doing last week with my sister as a buddy, I can't see much difference but it does feel a bit firmer and toned.

i started trying it once i saw the vid
and it does seem less..jiggly LOL & more toned,
but yeah, i think i'll try it for a little while longer and see if that gets me anywhere
it's an easy enough excercise ^^

It worked for me! After doing it 3 times over on the first day I felt the ache when I woke up next day.
My legs must be really unfit lol.

I tried doing it when the ep came out ~
It feels less tiring than the jumping rope, and more fun too.
I actually have smaller leg measurements, but mine are stubby and flabby, so yeah.

Well, naturally I stand and walk on my toes, so my calves are really tones because of that. Downside, its ruined my ankles. Standing on your heals still works the calves i think, just in a different way?

I've been doing it for about a week so far.
Yesterday my friend told me my legs look slimmer.
They are definitely more toned, though.
It is a real work-out though, if you do it correctly.
I'm going to keep trying (;

Obvoiusly, you can attain thighs like Tiffany if you are not that skinny. You must have some fats though. If your body is slim like Jessica's and want it to be toned as well, it's okay too. (BUT WE ARE TALKING TIFF'S HERE). A little fat + exercise in toning those thighs = so fab! It's kinda effective.
Just sharing...
TONE YOUR THIGHS QUICKLY AT HOME!
1. Ski Sits - Position yourself standing with feet one foot apart. Place your hands on your thighs with your bottom out then lower yourself by bending down and put your arms out in front of you. Your butt should be parallel to the ground. Next rise yourself up but keep your knees slightly bent and place your hands back on your thighs. Repeat this motion for 15 times.
2. Squats - Your going to start with your feet just slightly farther than shoulder width apart. Bend your knees slightly and begin to lower your body until your bottom is parallel to the ground with your arm at your side. Next, rise back up but keep your knees slightly bent at the starting position. Repeat this for 15 times.
3. Lunges - Start with feet shoulder width apart. Next extend your foot, so one foot is in front of the body and the other is behind. Position your back leg with so that the knee is slightly bent and your heel is off the floor. Keep hand to side of you. Now you want to rise and lower yourself and remember not to lock your knees at the starting position. Do this also for 15 times.
Do these exercises for a month to tone your thighs and you will see some improvements. That is, if your diet is right.
+ JOGGING IS THE BEST! All of your leg muscles are working. DO BIKING TOO!
Just do all of these and you will have great legs/thighs.
*Note: Do stretching first!

I went to the gym couple of days ago and saw two fob guys doing this and I thought it was funny.
I found out I have thinner legs than Tiffany.
I'm sure it will tone your legs. I don't know how effective it will be though...

^ She obviously did other exercises as jumproping, jogging, biking, etc. I think she's just giving a little hint of what she usually do. I would highly doubt it if she said she never starved herself, we all know idols do intense work out for hours straight too. Plus, pack of schedules = stress. I don't recommend this work if you're gonna do it on daily basis, there's high change you might get buff legs. You must add other exercises in addition to acheive Tiffany's legs, oh, and change your diet.

I think its kinda effective; You'll build up strength on your thigh and it will tone a bit down.

DOES NOT CHANGE YOUR CALVES SMALLER...it doesnt make the the muscle of your calves smaller just to let you guys know
but it makes a difference in your thighs.
I kinda dont believe this cuz only 3 girls have nice legs in SNSD
i watch the video not all of them do the same excerise? for example i know yuri is on the heavier side
how come she cant do the excerises? So its based on individuals that the trainers do diff excerise with each of them??
i think its just genetics

Yeah I agree that it makes a difference..
but I heard that Yuri HATES exercising.. which is probably why she was so unbalanced in the video.
But that could be a rumor, I don't know.
But, yes, some is probably genetics. For instance, Jessica has always been tiny..

The exercise is easy and fun (esp with a partner) so I guess I'll try this exact 'routine'.

You have to burn fat to gain muscle, so it wouldn't make sense that this exercise would make your legs buff unless you were very fit already.

too much repetition will cause more muscle growth than toning?
imo i'd stick with squats with low weights.. really effective too!

any exercises to slim the calves??
i walk on my toes and my calves are huge and i'm not that slim as well >.>
the circumference of my calve (at the biggest/juicy part) is....16 inches D:
if i do cardio (jogging) and eating a healthy diet will make it slimmer?
Ugh it's probably genetics...my mom has fat calves as well TT ^ TT

^ There is this exercise you can do that's really simple.
Put a yellow page (A thick one) in between your legs everyday while you sit down.
It straightens your back and works your leg muscles.
I tried it and it helps my back so I recommend it.
I got it from a Japanese show and this girl who had REALLY thick legs tried that and it slimmed down her legs considerably.
