Plot,Summary

Ren Guang Xi, a cocky law student, seems to lead the perfect life. He's the sole successor to a huge and famous business and a talented ice hockey player. But in reality, his lonely life lacks joy, laughter and motivation. That is until he meets Liang Mu Chen, the new bento seller at his school canteen. Although orphaned at a young age, Mu Chen does not let her past affect her and lives life with great passion and determination. A harmless bet brings the two together and Guang Xi slowly changes as Mu Chen teaches him how to give and love. Tragedy strikes when Guang Xi suddenly has to go through a major brain surgery which causes him to lose his memory. His mother begs Mu Chen to leave him and the latter has no choice but to do so. Little does she know that she already has Guang Xi's child.

Six years pass. Mu Chen lives a quiet life with her young son in the countryside while Guang Xi is now a successful lawyer and is engaged to He Yi Qian, the kind and beautiful doctor who took care of him after his surgery. A strangely familiar piano piece stirs Guang Xi's heart as he struggles to recall his past romance with Mu Chen. How will the couple make up for six years of lost time? Happiness, which stop will I alight at?

i just saw the preview for the after EFEL. looks pretty promising i would say.
definitely give it a try. vanness looks really good with that hair cut.

I'm so looking forward to this drama. yes it sounds like a cliche and corny and all ansty drama. but thats what i like. especially since vanness is the center of that with good hair. i'm all eyes and ears.

i am actually really looking forward to this. a nice change from the usual fluffy taiwanese drama fair. the storyline sounds so cliche, but works for me

Darn! I can't watch from those links I hope there's a link to a torrent or youtube eventually. I love Ady, so I'm totally excited to see her in a new Taiwanese Drama. As cliche as the drama sounds, I really want to watch it. I just hope it doesn't turn out ridiculous.

I just watched episode one (fast-forward through, kind of). It's actually a lot better than I've anticipated since I thought the preview was kinda cheesy, you know, the typical rich-boy-fall-in-love-with-poor-girl storyline. It still is cheesy in a way, but the main leads so far actually look promising.
I wish they could pick up the pace though...

the trailer got me all teared up.
even though it is quite cliche,
i think it's different from the usual funny cheesy sucky plotline & detailing of taiwanese dramas.
this one's got alot of potential from the trailers

the previews all look so dramatic and gooood!!
yeah, definitely different from all the other taiwanese idol dramas.
but in a way...it's like korean dramas...lol.

I think I found a plothole.. After Mu Chen left the police station she opened the book to get the money to buy a new fish, so it can't have been left behind in the police station, right.

First episode looked promising though. I agree everything sounds a bit cliched, but let's see what really happens. I really love the ending clip of them as a family, so sweet! Something to look forward to.

Is anyone else freaked out by the peeping tom stepdad? I get the chills from him.

No, the book she put the money in looked like a diary/accounting book or something. It's softcover, whereas the English grammar book was hardcover.

I agree. I was instantly hooked after watching the trailer... or maybe I was just looking for a sad drama hahas.
But I'm excited for the sad parts LOL.

But the trailer seemed to .. reveal alot of things. It even seemed like they showed the ending.. but there's probably more to it.

Some of the dialogue was SOOOO cheesy. Especially when Guang Xi was trying to seduce Mu Cheng. But other than that, I LOVED IT

Finally a female lead that isn't loud and cheerful, but also not shy and boring. (like Barbie in Mars) I think this is my favorite type of girl character. I can't wait for the entire story to pan out, and on to the sad part.

im like, are there really aunts like that in the world?

i have seen all of episode 1, im waiting on the subs.

im debating if i should wait for the whole thing to finish subbing,
or if not, imma die week to week waiting for the subs and the episode. lol.

and when i hear Ding Dang's opening song, the beginning, it gives me goosebumps.

Haven't been hooked to a Taiwanese drama like this for a long time.
One of the better Taiwanese dramas i've seen
It is cliche at some point yet not so cliche because the acting is not so exagerated (especially the main actress).

Yesyesyes! I agree, I LOVE the female lead's personality because it's not frustrating to watch ( like other Taiwanese dramas). I was going to save a part of episode 1 for each day of the week, but today I couldn't wait so I finished the entire thing. SOOOOOOOOO GOOD <3. iloveilove. I'm going crazy waiting for episode two.

The "peeping tom" uncle seems like the silent type of scary, and the "little aunt" shows us that even rich people change quite alot (personalitywise) when they go into the slums. Quite interesting.

I wish there was more previews/videos/LEAKS! of the drama. I'm in loooove

^^ exactly my thoughts on similarity. i always always thought vanness looked like yunho since the f4 days. and ady, which i have never been exposed to, immediately reminded me of vicki zhao. they make such a good couple.

and one of guang xi's classmate is figaro from iswak2. can't wait to see tiffany xu, zi yu in iswak. hopefully she is more likable in there.

i think putting in a perverted uncle was really interesting.
i like it, because that's a real situation that some girls have to live with,
and by putting it in, it makes Mu Chen's character more real.

I watched Ep1, it was good so far
I feel sad for Mu Chen that she has to endure the pain of living with a pervert uncle Gosh how I wished she punched him when he was peeking on her while she was showering , btw, the one she's living with & calling her aunt ( does she means by aunt her step mother or a real aunt)?

anyways, overall it's an interesting drama, can't wait for Ep2

so I just realized/found out that Muchen's "AUNT" is acutally her stepmother. It's so weird that she calls her "little aunt" because that's a term most commonly used to refer to" mom's younger sister. " I thought the "aunt" was muchen's mom's sister. WEIRD.
But now I know, it's clear why the "aunt" is so mean that she wanted to dump the little muchen on the bus. =_=

From watching all the previews and the first episode I love this drama. I can't wait to watch episode 2!

cant wait for 2nd episode!!!

i posted these posters at Asianfantics but i still wanna post them again because this family is damn too cute ..I love the chemistry between them. I heard that Ady didn't like Vanness at first, she hoped the leading man is Ming Dao. after filming they're close friends now. The way they talk to each other very comfortable.
The first episoder is very very nice. I was Vann's fan for 7 years, then i quited since 2007.. but now all my love for Vann is back. His acting improves a lot. Hoping the director could keep the good till the final episoder.

^Actually, Ady's (Mu Chen) already a pretty accomplished actress. She's been working in Mainland for quite some time and took part in major productions. Those not familiar with her may believe she's a "newer" actress, when in actuality, she'd already been in the business for years! It's just that she hasn't filmed an idol drama since White Robe of Love.
