Yep, everything is authentic on it. Being Japanese and having a sister live in Japan has it's advantages.

I live in Central California. You can jump in for a shoot if you like. I don't think it'd be worth it if you live really far away though. haha

Cool, if that's the case. Your friend should buy FHI 4/2 pot off japanese auction site, they're cheap over there. Its sad to see those RG2s w/ stock rs brakes.
i believe the front+rear bumper are authentic along with the spats, lip and spoiler are authentic, but i doubt the doors are JDM.
I only know 1 person on my area who has everything JDM authentic inside out.

Originally, the front bumper has a place for you to mount the license plate, which is in the center of the bumper. Due to my FMIC, I had to cut the whole inside part, so there was no place to mount the license plate unless I moved it to the side. Here's how it looks on my friend's Impreza.

The car itself is a 93 or 94 L with the 2.5RS front end from his old black one that he crashed. It has an authentic lip, grill, corner light, light weight beam, splats, rear bumper, and spoiler along with ver.6 front and rear seats. All of the parts he got for dirt cheap. The only thing expensive was his ej205 and his advan rgII

yup, my friend's jdm doors are lighter than usdm.
so your friend's car started as an L, well, if that's the case then the car is 95 and up. Impreza started making the coupe model at 1995, before that it's either sedan or wagon.

Didn't know that.
The good thing about his car is that it's very light compared to my RS. Only downside, in my opinion, is that he has roll up windows.

^i feel his pain, my sedan and wagon have power windows but my coupe has roll up windows.
But If he has 1995 like mine, it's easy to pass emission cuz it's OBD1. I only have to do sniff test on mine, which is why its a perfect swap candidate (light, cheap and easy emission) hard to find tho

I'm loving the second and third picture. SO SEXY!!!
If you dont mind, in your other picture, of the STI moving, how come the car is so clear, but the wheels are moving/blurred. Cause I wanted my pictures from formula D to turn out like that but failed. I'm a noobie with picture taking. =[

There's a setting you switch to on the DSLR. I actually forgot what it's called.

I took my pictures in the "action/moving" setting. I'm not sure what it's called exactly. So maybe thats why in my pictures, the wheels motion is stopped. =/

it actually takes a lot to get pictures like that. You gotta know how to manually work your camera instead of using the preset modes, and while you do that you gotta figure out what settings to set your flashes at. If you look you'll notice he has flash on stands with umbrellas. This is so that the light doesn't directly hit the car and make it ugly bright or fake looking. So you need to buy the equipment and know your stuff.

Got a warning for having it too long. Same warning from the same mod for another violation I had. I don't think she likes me. lulz.
I guess people just take their moderating jobs on here too seriously, must have nothing better to do in real life. Don't get me wrong, I'm a moderator on my local forum so I know how it is... but geez. lol
The moderator for the car section of this forum is really chill though, I only got one warning after repeated flaming on the MR couple. Which reminds me, it's been two weeks now and I need to make a call out thread, since he said he'd race me.
