Hi Im a pretty new driver but for some reason parking seems to be my weakest link in terms of driving...I can get into a spot petty easily, but when i go into a spot do i need to straighten out my wheels before turning my engine off? also when i back out of a parking spot i turn my car and then switch gear to 4D and turn the wheels to turn? i heard that u gotta turn ur wheel to get out and turn ur wheel back to normal position AND then go into 4D so im confused about that please help me and any tips r appreciated

i dont really get that part... but it doesnt matter if your wheels are turned or straight when you are parked. if they are straight, it is a little easier to get out, but its not that much harder if they are. with more experience i'm sure you will get better iwth it

Have your mother or father teach you.

like the GSR said, how u have the wheels after u park dont really matter much. It would be better if u straightened it out. JUST incase you get back into your car and u forget the wheels are turned and u can scrape the cars on the side.

and im gonna take a shot in the dark here. does 4D happen to be right next to each other? in that case im gonna tell you that its not 4D and its either 4th gear limit or D, but since they are next to each other im assuming u think its 4D.

I might be wrong but it was kinda hard to get what you were saying. As far as putting it into drive before or after turning the wheel, it doesnt matter, since u can:
1. turn the wheel and put it into D
2. put it into D, hold the brakes down, and turn the wheel and let go.

I personally do the latter when im driving the lexus

btw it was hard to understand you lol.

it doesnt matter if your wheel is straight or not.. but it's more easy for you to get out if your wheels are straight, then of course back up striaght FIRSTTT lol after that i would go to 4D and turn the wheel, but sometimes you can back up straight and hit brake then turn the wheel first then switch to 4D and just let it go..just find a way to make it easier for you i guess... (:

Type-R has the B18c5 in America. In Japan, its just B18C. However, in Japan, the GSR was also B18C. So it's kind of hard to tell the block apart, whereas the head is easy to tell apart.
