i installed internet explorer 8 on my windows vista laptop D: gosh im so stupid. anyways, now when i turn on my computer the screen is only my desktop picture and then my start tab and all the other things are not showing up. how do i fix it? D:

I hate it when things like that happens.

A lot of times, you can hit control + shift + escape to start the task manager, if explorer.exe is running you can kill it. Then go to File>Run and type in explorer.exe sometimes thats all it needs to bring your stuff back.

You can boot into Safe mode and by pressing F8 button when your computer starts, and do a System Restore to a time when you did not have IE 8 installed.

Try uninstalling , then reinstalling IE8. This has helped many people experiencing similar issues.
