Well i have some money now and i wanted to get a new phone... I don't really want a Iphone cuz everyone has one so i was looking into the Asian phones lately... but don't really know if i can use their applications in Canada or not... I want a how would you say... cool looking phone that's maybe shinny, might have cool lights and fun stuff like that and with decent camera and internet etc...

I was looking at the Sharp 923SH but don't know if i can use it on any plan here as well as its internet capabilities since it is for japan...

i don't really know much about phones ... just want to have one for the sake of having one really... i know i sound stupid but it is satisfying to me i guess...

anyone have any suggestions on a new/ recent phone i should get and maybe educate me on cell phones a little maybe all this 3G stuff? ... like i have been using phones with SIM cards my whole life and dont really know anything much besides that...

Well if you like the look of the 923SH might I suggest the SH9020C or 9110C or 9120C, these are Sharp's versions for the Chinese market. And I see that your from Vancouver, they have these phones and more at Crystal mall, no not just Simstar sells exotics phones there on the other side of the mall hidden in "Tech Corner" or somethin like that beside the Japanse candy store are small stores which carry these and more..

The main advantages are you don't need a hypersim/sim hack, you can use mp3 tones, you can surf the web and send picture messages (but only once you put in your carriers settings) keep in mind that even though Telus and Bell use sim cards now, these phones will only work on Rogers/Fido..

hope that helps ^-^
