I admit he's a strong boy, but I think his parents should stop making him get more muscles.

My p.e teacher told us that working out will not stunt your growth, so I dont think that he's gonna have any trouble with height in the future

If you mean he'll be unnaturally tall, maybe.
If you mean stunting growth, go do your research.

I saw this episode of the show 20/20 where they did an investigation on this boy's father.
Supposedly he's been giving him a milkshake with "secret ingredients" every day.
I personally find this disgusting. Shame on the parents.

I saw this on Yahoo.
I don't think this is healthy for the boy and it might be harder for him to make friends.
I hope he doesn't end up as a bully.

Lifting so many weights isn't good for him because it will definitely stunt his growth. He'll end up being really short since he's only five years old right now. X_X His parents...ugh. But you know, that is one amazing kid. Walking on his hands for so long, and doing these amazing back flips...He is a natural and could already be some kid's double in a movie lol.

lifting weights at an early age does stunt growth. i dont care what your PE teachers say, what internet researches say, how many years of experience you have in that field of knowledge. its damn common sense that if you lift a lot of weight on your shoulders and back, youre going to stunt your growth.

Well, he may be strong later but he's gonna be reaall short.
That's so weird for a 5-year-old to be like that. x_x I would never let my kid start working out at the age of 2...

I think what confuses most people is the inconsistent use of the term "lifting weights". If you mean benchpressing the heaviest weight possible until you're sore, or any exercise that applies immense pressure on your legs, I agree with you. But this kid just looks like he's doing gymnastics, acrobatics, and a few bicep curls. He may be doing them to an insane degree for someone his age, but I doubt that kind of physical activity will stunt his growth.

Wow. I don't want to mess with him, or I could be tempted... and then get my butt kicked. xD
