Okay guys. I'm going to Full Sail University at Music Business major. It's in Winter Park, FL, USA. I wonder if any of you guys are/were student there? Please tell me your experience for being there. I know that school is REALLLY EXPENSIVE. The tuition fee is about 38000$ 12 months (40 hours a week) for Bachelor degree at Music Business, not including housing, foods, transportation. Plus, you should have a MAC Book Pro for classes too. But anyway, It's one of the best university in the U.S for music, graphic or games major.

"One of the top ten new-media schools" - Shift Magazine

"One of the Top five film schools in the country" - UNleashed magazine

Those saying are from their catalog lol. I have asked my professors ab that school. And like they said, it's really one of the best university in the U.S.... But they also said, there're some students in my college going FS before. And they thought that it's kind of too expensive for what they learned, plus they don't have much time to really practice, class size is kind of big (200students). 1 of the staff lady from FSU told me there's ab 1 to 2 international students come there study every month.... So it's not much international students actually. My professor said that FSU has a great connection with WaltDisney. The school is close to Walt Disney, Orlando. So students going school there, have chances to work internship for WaltDisney which is a great thing.. bc nobody do business better than WaltDisney in entertainment industry (my professor said that!)
For me, I'm in love with that school (except the tuition fee one!). What i love about that school is the program they teaching. It's really into MUSIC BUSINESS: artist development, artist management, concert management & publicity, music business law and contract negotiation, music business marketing. music merchadising, retail promotions, copyright, publishing....
Those are the things i really want to learn and what i want to do in my future... But the tuition is so high. I have been looking for other schools. But they're more about teaching a musician does music business. They think that only musician can do music business, so their courses are REALLY into HIGH ADVANCED MUSIC such as music theory 1,2,3,4, ear training 1,2,3,4; Chroal Conducting 1,2,3 ... My professors took a look at the courses other schools and they all were so surprised how tough/advanced those courses for music business major. They told me it's really tough if you're business major (which is i am). Most of those programs are for musician to do business..... And i completely against that. I don't think only musician can do business in music! I don't have deep knowledge like music major ppl ab history of music, theory, instruments, vocals skill... But I'm observed the Modern Music industry for years. I'm not only a big fan of music. But also fascinated by their merchandising, their producing process. I dont just listen to the song, but also find out how the star is created. And i have learned a lot ab it for years. THe love i have for music is as big as other music major ppl.... So even though, FSU is really killing me for their tuition. But that's the only university in the U.S that i have found, gives chances to non-music major ppl do music business...
If anyone has been to FSU before, please tell me your experience ab what they've been teaching. Also, Please tell me if you know any other university has the program for music business but .. really into business, not.. like for musician to learn the history of music.... Btw, i'm college student who has Associate degree in Business Administration. I'm international student and looking for school for Bachelor degree at Music Business major.
