It does have a roll cage. However it was not installed properly, hence why the roof caved. The driver is safe though.

Mr. Chan
This is almost as bad as cusco's bolt on roll cage.

It really has nothing to do with the bolt on cage. If you look at the 3rd to last picture, you'll see the cage went right through the floorboard. The installation failed.

Who ever put that cage in...... wow.

Funny it's a mustang >.>
Why didn't it transform and blast the tire wall?

You ever seen the Cusco bolt on cage and how crappy/dangerous it was?

Yes I have but the cage was not what failed here... You were saying this Autopower cage was as bad as a Cusco cage. But Cusco cages fail because they're poorly constructed/engineered. This failed because the installation was poorly done. I didn't think that was too hard to understand from what I wrote.
Mr. Chan
Yes, and I'm saying the fail which occurred is almost as bad as the cusco cage. Is it that hard for you to comprehend what I'm trying to get at?

Then explain it to me, because apparently somewhere I don't understand how a roll cage that works almost fails like a cusco cage.

the cusco/safety 21 cage isnt the best but its not that bad. i've seen many pictures of accidents where the cage did its job just fine and not injuring the passengers...

seems that it works...i've also never heard of an injury caused by a cusco cage. now most of what i've heard comes from s2000 related stuff i dont know about their cages/bars for other models of cars.

would i put one in my car? no i wouldn't, i would get a custom cage made. but they arent complete crap
charat
no... thats why you dont buy and american car. wouldnt have happened with a nissan =]

Cusco making a crappy roll cage for a pretty expensive price = fail

Improper installation of roll cage = almost as fail as Cusco with their bright idea of a bolt on cage for an expensive price.

Get it?

You don't need to bust out science for this.
