k i dunno if this has been posted already...but...

so the question is: if you believe/realize that a girl is playing hard to get, do you

1. counter it and play hard to get yourself, or
2. play along and prove to her that you want her

im just wondering this because, if you play hard to get yourself the girl might think you arent really interested and the relationship ends, but if on the other hand you prove yourself to her (ie call her often (not like annoyingly often, maybe once a day or something i dunno), and ask her out and reschedule when she says shes "busy"...) she might think you're desperate...


any thoughts?

yep purely for more attention.
girls believe that will make them seem less available and gets you to appreciate them more.
the correct way to respond is to slap them around. yup, show them who's boss.

Because IMO when someone plays hard to get, the guys will usually do the same thing, and that's not a really good idea.

Girls who play hard to get are effin stupid. I hate how a lot of girls walk around thinking they're some princess from the looney bin and demand that guys kiss their asses. Girls playing all these senseless mind games just end up with no boyfriend because guys don't like putting up with all that bull.

cuz if they are, if you play hard to get back, you might end up loosing that chance cuz shes gonna think YOURE not interested. as a girl myself, i like the second option.

Don't play hard to get, BE hard to get. I think girls cling on too easily sometimes (speaking from own experience) and having your own life and mind is good for both you and the guy, because he will appreciate you more, but more importantly, you will value yourself more as well.

It's annoying when girls make 'playing hard to get' a game just so they can manipulate the guy and play around with his feelings though. That's just unnecessary.

Playing hard to get is immature, but some girls ARE actually hard to get. I would say, show you want her for a bit but if she's still playing hard to get, just let her go.
