OK so i recently just bought a P905i (hehe yes its old, but it was cheap biggrin.gif)

And i have no idea how to upload stuff on it. I searched on websites. They gave me information saying that i can just upload stuff on without using an USB cable. I have tried that, but it doesnt seem to be working. So i was wondering if anyone could give me specific details on how to upload these, that would be nice. biggrin.gif

is has a micro sd card right? transfer files using a card reader (remember to rename files like ringtones, wallpapers, etc if you want to use it on your phone.)

pretty much covers everything step by step:

The phone working is less about the actual phone, and more about the HyperSIM you get.

I have P906i, so I'm not sure if you can find it in this way, but here goes anyway:

After you put them in your sd card (provided you named the files correctly and put them in the proper folder)...

Go to Menu > Data Box > My Picture > then there should be an icon for "micro sd". Click that, then go to Picture > 100_Pana (the folder you put the pictures in) > then they should be there. If you want to copy them to your phone,

hover over the picture > FUNC > Copy to phone. And you're done!

This should work, since I followed instructions based on a P905 instructions. If you're still having trouble, just ask. It took me a LONG time to figure it out too, believe me! I think I've had my phone for almost a year, and it took me until last month to figure it out. XD Good luck! smile.gif

[edit]

Ah, I just realized deeism posted the link to the forum where I learned how to do it, haha. The instructions I wrote were from me using my phone and going step-by-step, but I suggest following the forum since you'll have a visual. smile.gif

^ Don't worry about it, I'm still trying to figure that out too! XD
Actually, you need to convert your songs to MLD format. Here's a video tutorial (in Chinese though) of how to convert them.

Sadly, I tried, but I must be doing something wrong because it doesn't work for me... so actually, this probably isn't the best answer that I can give lol. But hey, it doesn't hurt to try. smile.gif

the hardwarezone link mentioned above pretty much covers all your questions, songs and videos have to be in either mp4 or 3gp format, there's also a specific way they should be named and specific folders they would go into. ringtones must the mld's they must be 100kb or under and you'll need programs to convert them to this, the easiest i think is using midi's and changing the extension from ".mid" to ".mld" but if you'd like mp3 quality you'll have to look around for chinese websites where they take requests (some people have a full version of the converter software)

hope that helps..

here's a link to uwants (forum). there's a few people who take requests... but it's in chinese...

i usually cut > convert to wma > mld.
but never been successful.... always either too short and the quality is plain terrible.

here's another site where someone uploaded a bunch of ringtones. most is in chinese. there's a few japanese, korean, and english.
