The topic says it all. Would YOU drive your parents' car?
My parents are cheap. They're always talking about how when I get older [I'm 14], they'll let me drive their car around as opposed to buying me my own car. Honestly? That would mean I have to drive them. Asian parents are cruel people. Plus, I've contributed to the dirt on the dashboard and all over the car! I wouldn't drive my friends in something like that.. Ew. HAHA. So, NO I would never want to drive my parents' car! It'll make me FEEL cheap like them, too!
What about you?

Anyway, unless it's an old beat up corolla or something, I wouldn't MIND driving it around. I just wouldn't attempt to strut my stuff and look cool haha.

Well, my dad drives Jeeps. So...no thanks (I don't drive stick)
My mom drives a BMW 528i. Although the car is a freakin' whale in my opinion, I wouldn't mind driving it around

I have my own car, but I choose to drive my parent's cars to school 'cause I don't wanna get any more dents and dings on mine.

You are getting a car, be happy you don't have to spend your own money. Respect them for even giving you a car. You are still 14, you will have many years ahead to appreciate what is given.
Yes, I drive my parents car because I am still a college student.

14 and thinking about driving? awwwww
Try out go carts =)
Would I drive my parents car? Yes.
Why? It's a mode of transportation and beats the bus.
I have my own car now, but whenever I'm tinkering on it and need an extra car, I borrow my parents.
You just have no idea yet. Just wait when you have to make payments + pay insurance.
Unless you REALLLLLY love cars, the pros and cons equal each other out.

Be happy that you're parents will LET you drive.
And yes, I do drive my parents' cars. Because they pay for it. I have a Camry that my dad paid for my sister and myself to drive. What I don't like is driving my dad's Benz and then realizing I killed so much gas driving for only 30 minutes.

i used to drive my grandpas car before i got mine.
i was lucky to even have a car to drive cuz most of my friends didnt.
but then i wanted my own car and didnt want to share with my grandpa
cuz i felt bad for using it more than he does, so bought my own.
you're young, you have time.
dont rush into driving/buying a car.
cuz once u buy a car....its not a fun as it seems with all the
money ull be spending....payments...gas..insurance...maintence..etc.

just, occurred to me, after i get a job, i would probably never drive my parents cars. They are more on comfortability, rather than being a drivers car.

???You question seems to be a bit narcissistic .
For three and a half years, before getting my own car, the vehicle that i used to drive was a 1995 mazda MPV. Even driving that van was a privilege. I didn't care if it was old or dented or color faded, all I care was that I had four wheels, an engine, and a roof. Heck, i drove my friends around in it too.

I didn't even get a car until I was 18... and it was a hand me down Integra from my brother. Being a college student, I'm just happy I got something to take me from point A to B instead of taking the bus like I did back in high school.

Whats wrong with driving your parents car around? So unappreciative. At least you're getting a car to DRIVE. I know plenty of people who drive their parents cars. I drive my mothers highlander, I don't care if it looks like a soccermom car, it's all good. Heck, sometimes I even drive my dad's pickup truck. The point of driving a car when you got no money is to get you from point A to point B. When you make your OWN money, then go buy yourself a nice car that can take you to point A to point B in more luxury or style.

Well being 20 I CAN drive my parents car, but I wouldn't. Toyota Previa, huge people carrier, no thanks! No fun in that at all.
I have a nippy little Yaris T- Sport which is much more entertaining to drive! Its also a manual, my parents is an auto, I get significantly less joy out of them XD

i wouldn't mind driving my parent's 1993 Nissan Altima. my parents had it since my older brother was born which was around August 1992 and it still works today. 8D ALSO, it's still in good shape. all i need to drive it now, is a beginner's drivers license! hopefully, i can get it by the end of January, since i'm taking Driver's Ed right now.

You forgot to read the last line, that should clarify a lot about the stance everyone is posing towards her. She wants her PARENTS to buy her a car because she doesn't want to drive their car cause she will FEEL CHEAP if she did.
