i couldn't help but sorta tear up when i was watching her talk about her experience. =( it was hard to get over the relationship and move on, but she did it. kudos to her for doing so. =)

^I agree. Rihanna seems like she was about to cry, but she seems quite strong not to show her weakness. I applaud her for that. She's really gorgeous!!

I think she's being really mature about this whole thing.
I like that she still "loves and cares" about him and wants him to do well in the future.
It takes a really big person to be able to say something like that about someone who hurt them so much.
More power to her.

I honestly don't want to get into the irony of the lacking sense the thread creator has and how immature he/she is about an important and common social problem among women, but I will say this:
If there is anything good that can come from this whole debacle, it is the fact that it can be utilized as an example of what and what not to do when a man first lays his hand on you, or shows any aggressive signs. Rihanna is right. "Eff love" because seriously, that is exactly what a person does when they start hitting. No man or woman can love their "significant" other unconditionally and righteously if they hit them. Period. Sticking around just because you love someone can mean being dead some years later. Only reality, sadly. It was a very brave thing for Rihanna to do. Any person can gain knowledge from that experience and avoid having it happen to them. I'm not a fan of hers, but I have a new found respect for her to speak about something that she might not have fully moved on from emotionally.
