So anyone who likes old school metal/hard rock/rock music and writhes in agony when they see people like The JoBros call themselves rockstars? XD (I think they call themselves that as I've read it at a few places. If I'm wrong, don't bash, I'll admit I'm wrong so don't get your panties in a bunch).
Lately, rock and metal these days is really bad so I just wanted to know....are there any people out there who are suffering like me from the lack of good metal music?
Especially the type of metal that used to be popular around the 70s, 80s and 90s. (some underground music is nice, but honestly...you can't compare)
It's just really annoying that when I turn on music channels, all the songs played in rock playlists are just pop songs by artists such as The JoBros, Demi Levato, even Jordin Sparks!
What has this world come to? T___T
And don't forget to mention your favorite rock and metal bands (from those times) so that I have something good (and new in a way) to listen to! XD

testament, opeth, black sabbath, megadeth, metallica, and ozzy. sorry for the small selection, but that's just off the top of my head.
I have a few modern bands you should seriously look into, though. Check out La Dispute, Between the Buried and Me (amazing band. they have both br00talnezz & beautiful melody), Alexisonfire, and dream theater.
