Thanks for the tip I will try this in the future. And thank you for uploading all those clips. I was having the hardest time watching the Mnet clips on their website so I really appreciate it. I find it funny how casual he is during the MV making when his assistant or whatever is fussing over him. he just lets her play with his hair and clothes and hardly even notices here there. I really like this performance too. It was a pretty magical moment wasn't it? It was really cool to see LSG and Yangpa reeling from the realization that what they just did was TRULY special considering they never sang together, it was LSG's first time singing this song, and they had the miscue at the beginning.

eequeezee: Volume 1 is such a fun album. I hope you enjoy it. I'm really fond of track 2 (To J). It's a crank-up-the-volume-drive-down-the-freeway kinda song. Overall, it's a great debuting album. You can tell that Seung Gi's voice has matured a lot. But I'll always miss his rock-and-roll beats.

I owe you one! Thanks for the translation. It's nice to know that they were as pleasantly surprised as us. That was my favorite radio perf by LSG last year. Like Heechul's version, this one was not without error. But it was the graceful way in which they recovered that makes it special. He has many other great radio clips. What the heck, he's fabulous in a lot of them. I love this particular on-the-spot duet with Yangpa despites its flaws. And truly because it is imperfect. It was all about the singers connecting with the song and each other. How they both adjusted midstream say plenty regarding their skills and poise. Theirs are at a level a cut above other bubble-gum K-pop musicians. Seung Gi's brave to do it on the first try. Clearly unrehearsed with his strong husky voice. It was beautiful. This radio perf is totally the reason why I adore live performances in general. They humanize the songs. And of course the artists.

(As you know that story at Yashuimmanman that another boy flirted with his girl friend. So he contacted him not to flirt with her on his cell phone by text message. But the boy has gone to travel to see beach~... that story kk)

They have met each other for about 1 year. And then he went to high school(10th) and started rock band activities. And his girl friend went abroad to study Music to Boston in USA at that time. They finally broke up with.

But I think he is having some affection to her still. At his first concert, as he told his old stories showing his pictures, he was saying to her "What do you do now? ..." I think he misses her a little bit. Isn't it natural thing? Because his fresh first love. ^^

A: I was majoring in Journalism first but I transferred to International commercial relations.

It's all good. But yes, I love the lyrics of "Delete". He did a really nice job singing it in his concert. "Dear J" is not a spectacular track but I love it because it's so "fresh". I think he sang it as an improv with LSH - probably floating somewhere in YouTube-land. That version is nice but I still like this track. I know that he has gone all ballads now (sad!) but that song was made for an eighteen (?) year old. It's fun. He sang his heart out in it.

Overall, I think LSG came into his own in Vol. 2 (Crazy For You), which many consider his finest. The range and quality of that album have not been repeated since. Remake #1 is also unforgettable.

I'm sorry - I have the right file order. I accidentally wrote Dear J as track 12 when it's track 10. You are so sweet to put the correct order.

I have a cousin in Korea who told me that she heard LSG and his managers purposely decided to do remake albums because they really wanted to make him stand out as the youngest ballad singer, especially because he isn't a showy, sexy dancer/singer like an Usher. And, PART of the reason LSG's done remake albums is because he doesn't have the time to focus on working on original stuff at the moment, and also, Psy, who was hugely instrumental in the making of his first album, has been in the army...so hopefully, LSG won't be only doing ballads for too long?

Yayyyyy, another drama queen in this thread. For a while, I didn't know whom to connect to . No, you're right the first time. It IS from Lovers in Paris. How could you miss that? Two things that i remember from the drama: (1) the song and (2) that horrible ending. Arghh, ruined the whole experience for me. The ending I mean. There are like 3-4 songs in his new album that were in dramas. Listen to them carefully. I'll let you know if you can't figure them out. Seung Gi is like a total drama addict. I remember reading an earlier post from Vanny saying that he watches K-drama and jdorama. We share the same taste ... Seung Gi and I, can you believe it? Hahaha. Sorry for the fangirl outburst there, people.

Within the above phrases, he's also saying that the support his fans give him fill a lot of (emotional) voids he may have, and that he won't forget the spirit he had when he was starting out, and will not stray from that mindset (meaning he'll always keep his feet on the ground). His humility in front of his fans is just beautiful isn't it? If he can write a letter with this much feeling, I can't wait until he starts writing his own songs!!!

Thanks for the links. The ballad version of this with Lee sun hee is absolutely amazing. I've listened to it so many times I've lost count. I would actually love an MP3 of that duet, but I can't find anyone who has it.

I also had another idea about an album for him. Would a duet album be great? His duet with Yangpa should definitely be on that list. They were perfect together.

He has been able to maintain that down to earth personality all these years, especially since he started so young. He is sweet, honest and pure. That is why he is so enduring.


I've searching or Seung Gi vids a LOT lately and there's still more I haven't seen! =) Thanks for finding this vid. This is my favorite song of his from Remake 1. I haven't found a lot of live performances of this so I really appreciate this. Is it just me or does he sound particularily good on radio? The way his voice echos is wonderful. Thanks!
