But i must say there's a lot in your post that i agree with (like why cant they scrap Iljimae!). I'm rather against the whole idea of even filming Iljimae at all this year, given how the odds seemed stacked against the MBC version. Like I've said, I dislike the idea of LSG in a period drama (dont think it suits his image at all). Then again things might change when the actual drama airs. It might be the big break for LSG. After all, Kdramas have created miracles for the careers of so many stars (just look at Rain and people). Well, I'll just cross my fingers and hope everything goes well. And that LSG will be able to cope somehow.

Thanks Sunlight for the information and the translations. The selfish part of me is cheering because I'll be seeing him weekly and I so love seeing him in 1n2d.

But a larger part is concerned about his health and career. Especially since the drama is filmed in Japan so he'll be frequently flying. He's already said that he doesn't eat well and I hope he does do his physical before they start filming so he's aware of his own health.

Iljimae's a physically demanding role (he plays a thief right?). Plus he's the main character. So he really needs to be on top of things. I really want his acting career to be a success so I want him to give 100% on his acting. With his attention divided, I hope he is able to do that. I'm not too concerned about his music activities yet. I have a feeling he'll be doing a goodbye performance soon on Music Bank. Does anyone know how long it takes to shoot dramas? Didn't I read before his new album is coming out later in the year, or is that a rumour? So he'll need to fit recordings and practice in there too. Plus I hope he's not going to school during this time because I think that will be too much then.

I know there are other entertainers who have more on their plate than this but I feel protective of LSG.

You know, I always wondered how they choose the actors in Korean dramas. For LSG to all of a sudden get the main role on a big production Especially when he's only had 2-3 previous acting gigs (nonstop 5 and chil sisters) as relatively minor roles. So does anyone know if the actors audition for these roles or is there backroom dealing? Like I read in the Chil sisters thread, they didn't have high expectations of LSG's acting. Well, why hire him then? I just don't get it...

the popularity he gained through it. like when he mentioned that through the show, he has been able to experience MTs, which he hasnt been able to go to while in college and the friendships he has gained with the fellow memebers of 1N2D.

but i do agree with the complication of the juggling act of Iljimae and 1N2D. but then again, he still is young and probably wants to experiment with acting further. o51029 If I don't remember wrongly, LSG said in one of his interviews that after the promotional events for his second remake album wraps up, he would then move on to prepare and plan for a new album, and thus the new album would be out late this year at the earliest. In which case i don't think would be possible looking at the whole string of activities planned for him now. From what I gather from my friend's producer dad, there are usually auditions for drama roles. Even so, the scriptwriters/directors would have in mind a few people they think are potentially suitable for the role and invite them to audition for the drama and then pick the most suitable one, so its not like as if people just get randomly named at the directors preference and that's it, they're off to film. Then again. I wouldnt be surprised if there is the occasional backroom dealing. There are shady deals in every trade, so why would the entertainment world be any different? In any case, I'm glad that they dont shy away from casting newbies in kdramas. Its risky but it pays off when the newbies show potential.

Oh guys! I'm just done watching this week's 1D2N (well, its actually 2N3D for this ep) and I must say I really liked it a lot. Lots of laughs as usual, and the entire scene with the camping car speeding along the beach was just so pretty! Here are a couple of scenes from the episode, dont read if you havent watched it and dont want to spoil the fun. The links to this week's episode are already up on the 1N2D thread (for Veoh) and htruc has already uploaded the videos on her youtube channel. I MUST say that this show is the best, its so spontaneous. Next week the guys are going to play soccer with some army guys they met on the way. Looks fun!

On the boat
The six guys are headed off to Baengnyeongdo this time, and they're taking a boat to get there. First they head out to the deck to check it out.
EJW: Actually I'm a little worried about today..
KHD: Why?
EJW: Its 2 days 3 nights..
MCM: Shall I go 'take care' (of the crew) for you then? (take care as in go whack them or something, lol!! MCM is so funny!)
KHD: Ah, its ok..
MCM starts making mean faces, which cracks KHD up totally. Apparently MCM is trying to act like a despicable cad (in line with his 'taking care of the crew'), and KHD covers his face so that he can do it one more time for the camera.
MCM (making a mean face): Are you going to change your channel now? CHANNEL?
LOL, KHD is so amused that he asks Iljimae (well, LSG of course. I was a little surprised KHD called him that.) to try too. But LSG's version doesnt look mean at all! Then the guys start complaining that he looks good and cute instead of mean, to which they ask MCM to demonstrate the mean face again. After that KHD tells the viewers last week we saw EJW the dooly (둘리 - its a character from a cartoon, a baby dinosaur) and this week we will see the mean dooly. So EJW joins in the fun too together with MCM to make weird faces and KHD falls on the floor laughing at them. Funny!!

Multiplication table game
Back in the boat they of course decide to play a game (I think the winners get to have snacks), and so they team up, KimC-MCM-LSG vs KHD-EJW-LSGuen. KHD gets picked to go against KimC and so they start the game. Basically the game involves multiplication tables, and KHD fails miserably on his 1st attempt. He answers that 3X7=36, and LSGuen exclaims about how embarrassing it is that KHD doesnt even know his multiplication tables and that someone should call Baeksang (presumably to inform them how their award winning host is such an embarrassment and take away his award,lol). Thus, MCM, LSG and KimC run off to buy their snacks, and LSGuen remarks that 4X7 is not even 29, how can it be 30+..? While the 3 boys are buying their snacks, LSGuen and KHD start playing a 'most ridiculous answer' version of the multiplication table game.
KHD: 3X8?
LSGuen: 1364! 2X9?
KHD: 400. 3X7?
LSGuen: 640. 2X8?
And the screen flashes 'they're fools..' then KHD and LSGuen decides to play the multiplication table game by punning on the words.
KHD: 6x3 = building (63 building)
LSGuen: 2x9 (ee gu) = ahna (the whole thing will sound like Iguana)
2x8 (ee pal - it sounds like this arm in korean)= gypsum (as in plaster of paris, meaning its in a cast..)
he's actually quite smart to come up with the multiplication table puns on the spot! really funny guy, Mr comedian LSGuen.

The PD decides to give KHD another chance to answer 5 multiplication questions, and they start again. LSG suddenly cuts into their conversation.
LSG: Hyung, can you try this again first? 2X1 is 2, 2X2 is 4... (asking him to practice his multiplication table of 2!! Haha, sneaky old LSG..)
KHD laughs in bitterness, and MCM joins in the teasing, singing the multiplication table of 2 together with LSG. The PD then proceeds with the game, where KHD answers the question wrongly again! The only question KHD managed to answer right was 4X8, haha! They then get LSG to practice playing the game.

LSG just keeps on asking KHD questions from the multiplication table of 3. KHD realises this, as well as the fact that LSG is doing this to make fun of him, and KHD makes a face that was really really hilarious! Ahh.. Seung Gi is getting really cheeky these days! Naughty naughty to make fun of KHD like this.. anyway, the guys fall asleep after this, and they get woken up by the PD to choose a person to get off the boat to go catch fish and earn money. LOL! Poor MCM gets sabotaged for the job, to which he starts yelling his manager's name and drags his manager into the job too.

MCM's fishy job
MCM and his manager had to go catch fish to earn money for the six guys, so they got off earlier to do the job. The whole process was hilarious! MCM kept asking his manager whether he was ready to run and throw the huge green fishing net into the sea, and when they finally started running, MCM tripped over something and fell! But that wasnt the funniest part, the funniest thing was that MCM's mananger suddently exclaimed that his pants got torn! And the tear was near the crotch area, so he was grabbing his pants in a rather unsightly manner. Well, they tried running into the sea again, and this time MCM kept falling over because of the waves. He gave up and ran to the shore screaming that it was really cold, and started piling the warm sand all over himself. LOL! MCM's manager then yelled that the tear in his pants had gotten even bigger! While MCM was busying covering himself up with sand to warm himself up, his manager ripped two holes in a pink sack and wore it as makeshift pants. FUNNY!!! MCM later caught a fish using a basket, and both he and his manager was sooo happy about it! LOL!

Hope everyone's off to a nice start with their weeks. It's been pretty hectic in my neck of the woods, and was away for all but a few days but wow so much has happened!

[T.O.P.]Sunlight, thanks for the articles. LSG said that he'll likely miss only a week of 1N2D and be able to juggle both 1N2D and Iljimae huh?

B-unnie, I don't think you wrote anything in your vent-post that called for an apology in any way. To add my two cents on the matter, I truly hope that he's able to give 100% to both shows, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that he does...because if he doesn't, then it'll definitely affect both shows. I may be reaching when I say this, but the last two episodes (the Bunjee jump episode and the one after that), it SEEMS to me that MCM is just "kinda there." His presence is still felt, but I get the feeling that he's just there hanging out, and I think it's because he is truly beat up by his schedule... If no one else agrees with what I just said, then forget what I just wrote haha. My point is, I hope I don't get the same feeling from LSG as I did with MCM the last two episodes...

I too think that 1N2D can more than go on if LSG were to leave, because the show is bigger than any one of the stars on the show, but the magic of the show is the chemistry between the six guys, which wasn't there before MCM and LSG...so I think no one wants to mess with something so special, probably LSG just as much as anyone else, and for that, I applaud him. Ultimately, I think LSG will be able to do both, but I think he'll miss more than a week of shooting 1N2D...

B-unnie, your new 1N2D MV - I love all the pics, and can truly appreciate the mindfulness on your part with regard to how you constructed the slide show. Some pics that I just loved (the music helping highlight the wonderful feeling the pics emit): EJW pretending to feed KHD followed by LSG/KimC/KHD holding the kettle/bowls, the solo shot of the tent in the snow (love that!) followed by KHD lifting LSG up, the shot of LSG/KHD and KimC in the red car, and the pics from the Korea Sings episode. I can't wait for the next one (will there be a next one?)

Sarangaia - CONGRATS ON THE JOB!!! And THANK YOU for your summaries/translations. I saw the "LSG marrying the little girl" episode yesterday, and you did a write up of it last week, and I honestly don't know what else I can add to it other than some random thoughts:
I love how EJW decided to drive and relieve LSGeun of some of the duties, and also, I thought it was interesting that the guys entrusted EJW to throw the sticks at the end --- is our choding growing up? And for MCM to throw the "geh" and EJW to throw the "gul" and for the guys to make it in time to win the camping car --- that was truly just a beautiful episode to watch.

These two episodes - EJW's 108 bows, the bunjee jump drama, the down-to the-wire win, I think reaffirmed what a great group of guys this is. MCM says it in the end, but EJW also says how no one can leave the group because each one is so special (this was in the car after KimC bunjee jumped). Can't wait for the pics from this trip to be in another vid B-unnie hehe.

I must say the captions, music and special editing by 1N2D made the scenes even more hilarious. Ha. One thing I didn't understand is how did the five guys reunite with MCMong? Was it by accident that they were spotted? Also, LSG doing the tumbling! He didn't seem too graceful there, did he? Too funnnayyy. All I could think of when watching that was: Is this my Iljimae? llooo8oooll Hellooo!! Welcome! Hope you stick around here often! The first time I heard LSG's fanclub name I thought it was a China-based one, because Airen sounds like lover in chinese. I later read somewhere on the net (I forgot where..) that the name indeed comes from the chinese word 爱人, which like i said earlier means lover, so it probably means lover of LSG or something. Not very sure how true/accurate this article I read is (since the net is full of hokey pokey everywhere), but I guess it should be pretty accurate. Not sure how the name came about though.

Bedifferent I loved the pink shirt, but he looked HOT in that black polo shirt. He looked toned and fit, ooh, handsome! Those picture books look darn good! How do these people get the time, energy and money to make these things so professional-looking, I wonder. Oh, and nope, the guys didnt find MCM by accident, they were informed to go pick him up. But the guys were too busy observing the view by the sea (and possibly also too far away) to hear MCM screaming away (of course, the ever popular 'Seung Gi yah!!!' scream ) I agree LSG's tumbling really funny! He wasn't exactly graceful in executing the tumble but his pose before and after looked like some Olympic gymnast at a competition, LOL!! Dont worry Bedifferent ! It's pretty much confirmed that our six boys will be going off on a most excellent adventure. I think they will mostly be filming on the China side of the Paektu mountain for a tentative 4N5D trip beginning on 6/13. I didn't check LSG schedule but I think his calendar is clear from 6/12 on (until 6/23), right o51029? So excited. I'm banking on some wonderful photographs from this trip. On a more serious note, this trip may carry significant international goodwill since there has been considerable tension between South Korea and China recently. That which South Korea is requesting ownership privilege to this sacred mountain range. This also highlights the recent willingness of North Korea to open up this side of their country for tourism. With hope in boosting the economy in the process. If 1N2D actually enters into North Korea for filming, then it will be even more amazing. Interesting trip no doubt. Trust it to our dear guys to make this a most memorable pilgrimage. And to foster peace and love in the process (I hope, hehehe). Ahhh, as if we have not love them to death already. Can't wait to see this. I wonder if this will turn out to be a self-discovery journey for anyone of them. I sense TNS ratings monster. Good luck to all of them. I wonder how helpful EJW and LSG are with their somewhat proficient English skills on this international trip. (LSG, your nightmare has come true! It's not the South Pole but it looks mighty cold there). Very creative of the 1N2D production crew. Let's see how many episodes will this trip be broken into. Perhaps LSG will have time to squeeze Iljimae's filming in between these longer trips. Still a challenge, but we'll see.



P.S.: Hmm, I wonder if the 1N2D's crew will be overwhelmed at the airport by the China LSG-fangirls. Did I say that I luuuvveee this show? Well, I LOVE THIS SHOW!

OMG you are right, LSG's nightmare IS coming true! 1N2D became 2N3D and now its gonna be 4N5D! Maybe one day they will do a 15N16D, then 29N30D! LOL!!! Woo! Why am i so happy about their nightmares coming true? LOL. Since they'll be flying to China, I'm not too sure their english skills will be put to test. Most people there speak their regional dialects and mandarin, and in more developed areas like Shanghai and Beijing they speak english (but most of their english leaves much to be desired). Will be a very very interesting episode indeed. I LOVEE 1N2D!! Its the best variety show around these days, AND LSG is on it! Its like the icing on a cake. Its nice that the 4N5D trip can be viewed as a trip of goodwill, but i really hope it wouldnt become the focus of the trip. I want my international politics separated from my entertainment as much as possible, if you know what i mean. From the pictures, the trip looks like its gonna turn out to be rather taxing.

sarangaia, I don't think that there will be a shortage of laughter from this trip. In fact, I think we'll see plenty of wacky crazy moments when these men are put outside of their comfort zone. I hope that they do not have to drive around China by themselves (with or without LSGeun as the driver). Well, maybe I DO want to see that. LOL. OMG, imagine LSG with his high-maintenance beauty regimen on this trip. I've read some articles on this type of a journey to Mt. Paektu and found that it is actually a tourist mecca for a while now. There are legitimate tours set up (approved by the North Korean government) to fly to that part of the country. Most tourists still prefer to go via China way for a 5 day trip to the region. I don't know how grueling it will have to be for our guys this time. Will they go the "touristy" way? Or will they be forced to experience it the "local" flavor (which I hope they will). Will they still have to play games and fight for food? Or for a place to sleep? Or would it be just an entertaining documentary of their trip. I'm not sure. It just sounds like it will be an awesome series no matter what. One thing is certain though: they will definitely have to cut down on the filming crew size. Oh boy, those poor camera crew and support team. I'm not sure how excited they are about this trip. Hahaha. I still remember KHD/EJW/KimC last airplane trip. Funny. You're right, English is probably not a helpful asset. They'll definitely have to be creative on this trip. LOL at the thought already. I hope that they can enter North Korea. It will be something to watch. It's a memorable trip for sure. Wow, this is enough excitement to prompt me to pack up for another overseas trip. LOL.

Variety show 1 Night 2 Days, which has recently gained much popularity amongst viewers, are embarking on a trip to baekdusan for filming. The 1N2D team members KHD, KimC, LSGuen, EJW, MCM and LSG will start filming for the 4 nights 5 days trip on the 13th, and filming is expected to be carried out for two days.

The members had originally planned to travel to baekdusan by land, however negotiations with the North Korean side were unsuccessful, thus it is confirmed that they will be travelling to baekdusan via China.

The 1D2N team have carefully planned for the details of the trip, and have gotten approvals for their passports and visas, hence filming is confirmed to commence on the 13th. The trip was proposed in March, and has garnered much interest from the viewers.

Fanboy!! LSG fanboys do exist after all!! LOL!!! I'd love to see the fanboy interacting with our boy. Must be an amusing sight.

I doubt if the 1N2D crew will venture high up the mountain. But I’m sure being there, soaking up in the site, is no less awesome. I was in China with my parents 3 years ago but did not venture into this part of the country. Now I regret not having done it.

mysmileboy: I’d be interested to know how a LSG-fan feel about a group of Korean guys ventured to one of the most highly controversial mountains in your own country. I think most of the young people like us do not fully appreciate or understand the extent of the hot topic. Or are you just like me, excited for Mr . Lee only. I wonder if the 1N2D group should be wary of what is said and done while in China. The flare-up and controversies will be blown out of proportions if anything ever happens. I remember during the Xman years, LSG did get into trouble during the shooting of that China special from his comments. This one is definitely on the highly-watched event by the Korean people. Not only because it’s a popular variety show, but because the trip may carry more significance than it even wants to.

This trip to Baekdusan is REALLY exciting!!! I think it will be just as, if not more meaningful for the gang than the trip to the Liancourt Rocks was for them (pre LSG/MCM). I think that trip really kickstarted the show's momentum. That trip gave 1N2D an identity and really separated itself from the constant comparisons to Infinity Challenge.

BTW, I'm so glad the LSG thread is also a 1N2D thread~~~

In the Super Junior radio show, MCM said that one night while shooting 1N2D, he and KHD were in the mountains staring out at brilliantly bright stars, and KHD said to MCM - "Mong-ah, is a fancy car, a big house, your priority? Let's embrace a more beautiful dream, and REALLY bring happiness to the people." MCM said that this just lit a fire in his heart...

MCM also mentioned in the Guerilla Date segment of Entertainment Relay that KimC actually REALLY having a tough time coming out of the water in Udo, and that KHD ran in to help KimC out...and that KHD told KimC "let's make this look funny..." Watching that particular episode, there's NO way one can think that KimC was actually drowning.

B-unnie, you know how you mentioned that the photos from your first MV was from this trip? and that the closeness of the guys jumps out in the pics? I think that that trip was something really special because:
KimC almost drowned (we know now).
LSG broke his finger.
The guys borrowed each other's underwear!
And also, I think that LSGeun really embraced and accepted LSG on this trip.
There was a moment toward the end of the 2nd episode where MCM wanted to take a group picture. The guys were all together except for EJW, who was a hundred feet away with SangGeun and would join the gang to take the pic. It was crazy windy, and KHD was like, "let's go downhill and take the picture and MCM yelled something to the effect of, "No, these are Kodak moments! I'll go get EJW..." That's when I fell in love with MCM, but that scene for some reason truly made me fall in love with the guys... The six guys truly are the definition of a DREAM TEAM!

Also, what did LSG say on X-man that stirred up controversy???

MY DISCOVERY OF LSG - A cousin of mine, who was almost 30 when "You're My Girl" came out, was nutzo about LSG. I didn't really like the song because I couldn't relate to it...he wasn't singing to me (I was 12 haha!!!). But then I heard DELETE, and that struck a chord with me. I watched X-man and Loveletter for KHD (I loved watching the lovable bear! And still do!) but along the way, I fell head over heels for LSG and HaHa - two very different personalities!

Hello all I am back from Vegas!! I am glad too, it was soooo hard to be away from a computer (and this forum) for that long. I had a great time though, lost a lot of money, but still it was totally worth it. One of my best friends is leaving to teach in Japan for a year and this was sort of a last time girl trip before she's off. I'm already feeling really really bummed. I'll miss her so much... But anyways back to Seung Gi. Wow, there's so much information and conversation in the last few days. I'm not even sure where to jump in!

Sunlight, thanks for the info on Iljimae and 1n2d being both a go for Seung Gi. And like many have said, Bedifferent you having NOTHING to apologize for cause your just speaking from your heart to protect Seung Gi. Setting aside what he or the show truly needs/wants, it is INSANE to do both 1n2d & Iljimae. Both demanding, both mentally and physically exhausting. When is he going to have time to sleep and rest? I know some actors have agreements/stipulations that they only work mon-friday or they have special days off to do others things, but in those cases they usually get to rest even a little bit at home or someothing. Our poor boy will be out on the road, in the cold, in air, or even in water. Who knows what he'll be doing. He'll NEVER get to sleep or rest well. I'm also afraid to see what will come of this. I don't want to see him fade with each episode that comes out. I don't think I can stand to watch his slow progression into fatigue and exhaustion. I rewatched one of his clips during the initial comeback and he's definitely thinner and more tired looking. Less bright and healthy I think. I really worry with what's to come too. On the other hand, the selfish fangirl part of me is super excited about the new trip. That is going to be some SERIOUS fun, but I have a feeling these guys are going to be in for a doozy. Mountain climbing? Hiking? Rock climbing? I'm also curious as to what Seung Gi said that was so un-PC in China before. I guess our boy is a bit outspoken these days, but I would think he has enough sense to not say anything innapropriate in someone else's homeland.

Sarangia, thanks for the trans on the last ep. I'm still super amazed at your understanding of Korean considering how long you've learned it. (So your native language is Chinese? Me too.) The numbers game was darn funny. It was super cheeky of Seung Gi to make fun of Ho Dong like that. I would've thought Ho Dong would be better at the game than that since he's played it before on Xman. Sometimes I really do think he makes mistakes and fumbles on purpose just to bring the humor up, or to make the others look good. He's such an awesome host. Oh and thanks for the news pics on LL. MC Mong duet? This should be loads of fun.


Bedifferent, another great MV. There's always something about pictures that can make a moment even more than what it really is. The stills and captures bring back so many good memories and sooooo much about them as individuals and as a group. And the music just made it all so lovely. Yes, we'll be awaiting #3 if your up to it And of course I have to make a fashion comment since you talked about "the polo". Did I ever mention that I LOVE snug t-shirts on guys? Especially a good polo? I call it sexy preppy. And Seung Gi was THAT. Although I have noticed he's been off on his fashion sense lately. What's up with the baggy jeans? And the black T with the skull was cute, but a matching pink belt may be a little too much. I think he's starting to try a little too hard these and is thinking too much into how he should look. Edit: sorry once last bit before I really head off. I happend to watch a clip of the Dreams Concert (what drama, sheesh) and the opening act was SM artists like SUJU and SNSD. Guess what they sang? "Let's go on Vacation". I You don't really realize how goood a singer Seung Gi is until you have someone to compare him with. They weren't bad or anything, but the difference in singing was...as my friend loves to say "GINORMOUS". Honestly, I'm a Suju fan and I actually love Kyuhuyn's voice, but their version paled in comparison to Seung Gi. The power, the energy, the projection were all a bit lacking. One thing I've always admired of Seung Gi was his ability to sound clear and strong no matter where he was singing. Bad weather,no prob, loud music, no prob, bad equipment, no prob. He is always heard and NEVER sounds out of breath or weak. So proud of him =)

I just finished watching Because You're My Girl a while ago. It's the first video of Seung Gi that I ever watched and it always brings back memories. He's so adorable! Ahh, I cant wait to hear more performances from LSG before he fully commits to filming Iljimae. I miss his voice. Oh, and his whole shampoo CF on 1N2D when he got dunked into the sea was so funny, especially with the captions on the screen! eequeezee: The group picture spoke volume for their relationship, doesn't it? You know, in addition to all that were noted by you, the MV is even nicer because the background song was from the Sechskies. So in a way, all six of them were involved in one way or another in those short 4+ minutes. I was so touched by MCM's sincerity and humility in that ER clip. Now that you've mentioned it, I did think that the rescue by KHD was for real when I first saw it. And was relieved when they joked about it afterward. It just to show us what a great MC and person KHD is. I agree. That trip set the foundation for their friendship while the bunjee jumping/camper episodes practically sealed their bond. It's lovely to witness that developed on screen.

I like how everyone's first impression of LSG is different. (Xman was the best. I never thought that I would find another variety show that will rival that one. But here is 1N2D). It's comforting to know that LSG's appeal is pretty broad. So hopefully Iljimae will at least draw in some viewers for the first few eppies. Afterward, its success will be based on its own merit.

Hi guys. Just saw the YDH LL LSG-MCM 내 여자라니까 performance. Oh my goodness. I just woke up and i was dead tired, until i saw this clip. Its quite funny! MCM and LSG actually changed the lyrics to the song, and its really pretty amusing (MCM "i am an ajusshi"... hahaha! funny!). Especially when you see all the noonas giggling in the audience at it These guys. So cute. As usual they sealed their performance with a big hug, once more attesting to their love for each other, LOL. For the delivery of the song itself though, I was a little disappointed. I thought it would have been much better if LSG hit the high notes with a little more power. I know, I know, the topic of his interpretation of this song has been discussed to death here, but i still can't help it. His delivery of this song has definitely changed, and it looks to be more or less permanent, since his recent performances of this song has consistently remained relatively more relaxed and softer than a few years back. The current delivery actually sounds fine, then again, we've all heard the older versions and I can't help comparing. Guess I just have to learn to acquire a taste for it. I think MCM did a pretty decent job singing the song though. His singing may not be as polished as LSG, but his voice has a rugged charm that complements the song quite well. Interesting shirt that LSG wore, I actually think its quite nice. Haha.

Yup I kinda miss those power notes. But I also like the current delivery of the song. Hmm, how do I put it? It's like when you first fall in love, you're living in the moment and your feelings are powerful and desperate. But a few years after that first love, you look back at the memory with fondness and the emotions are dulled by time and distance. For me it's like that. He's singing the song as a memory of his first breakthrough hit. And he's thankful for the song and the public's reception of it and singing it as a thank you to the fans. Well that's my interpretation, I probably thought too much of it.

I've always had carefree summer vacations, and I'll try my best to keep my summers as carefree as I can...THANK YOU for your words of advice! Thank goodness for LSG and 1N2D, and everyone in this thread! I'd be missing a HUGE piece of joy without them!

B-unnie - Thanks for the link to the MCM Jook-Do-Ro MV. I love it. And I love the song! The last shot is just a thank you note to the people who in the beginning who said "...I love you" I'm so glad MCM came on 1N2D. I would probably appreciate him less if he wasn't on the show.
Regarding LSG's X-man controversy. I'm saddened that something like this occured. It's so ironic how my two favorite guys - LSG and Haha were the ones mixed up in this. I can't remember this happening --- I'll have to look for the clip. I can't believe the producers didn't have the smarts to edit the stuff out. Words hurt, but they can heal too --- I hope that LSG and his management's apology was sincere.
BTW - has anyone seen Come To Play by any chance? EJW is one of the sidekicks on the show. It's a pretty boring show, but I watch it because EJW cannot come across more disinterested. It's so funny --- I don't know why the PDs of the show keep him on HA! Anyhoo.

I think that LSG doesn't sing Nuna You're My Girl with as much OOMPH because he's older now, and for him to really belt it out the way he used to will make him come off as a girl-crazed teen (which he was when he debuted)...

o51029, thanks so much for all the vids. Loveletter never disapoints does it? We finally get to see "let's go on Vacation" with a REAL AWESOME live band. It was awesome. I particularly liked this performance because of the way he held the notes at the end. As much as I loved this song, I often felt it was funny how he liked to go for a big note and then would abruptly truncate it instead of letting the notes ride out in vibrato. So I was really really happy to hear him with this version. But my absolute favorite parts are the duets with MC Mong. Their chemistry was practically jumping off the screen! Seung Gi ah! Mongee ah!! LOL I agree with you on your feelings towards Seung Gi's current renditions of Because Your my Women. Very much like a sweet first love isn't it? The passion, the fond memories, the naiveity and sincerity that goes along with inexperience. I do miss the old power and passion as much as anyone else, but it's safe to say Seung Gi as moved on to another part of his career/life. He's singing it in a much more subtle and remiscent sort of way. Still beautifull, but it evokes a completely different feeling now probably because his point of view is also very different. It really is a song for fanservice now isn't it? And I was surprised too that Mong sounded so good singing this song! I actually didn't even know he could sing. His rapping was awesome though. He has such incredible endurance and lung capacity to continually rap for so long. The two complimented eachother very well. Listening to Seung Gi sing "i love you, oh thank you' I got a taste of what he would sound like singing more comtemporary pop/r&b. Not bad. I liked his runs. I would love to hear him do more of this kind of music.

And for the fashion bit (per bedifferent's request )... it was a mixed bag for me. I like it just for the fact that he's doing the whole casual rock thing and looking his age for the first time in his musical career. The idea of a pair of jeans with a casual button down is always a good basic, but I wish the jeans had been more fitted or a slightly darker wash. (Didn't someone mention he once wore Rock and Republic?) And the shirt was cute at first, but then I saw the big ole star in the back and it just got a bit busy. I also think he needs a hair cut. So overall, I give it a 7/10. And since Mong was his partner, I'll give my opinion on him too just for the heck of it. I give him a 9/10. I actually thought he did it just right and outsnazzed Seung Gi for the first time. LL has a bit of more formal atmosphere to it and the combo of dark denim and blazer was a wonderful idea. He looked hip and sophisticated with the jacket on and then just by taking it off he went relaxed and more casual to interact with the audience. The jeans were a great cut for him too with the tapered leg leading down to white sneakers for some young funk. Keep it up Mong

I have one request from our resident translators. Anyway we could get a bit of trans of the convo's that were done in Loveletter? Seung Gi looked embarrased at one point and then they were all laughing so much. I could only make out that they were talking about KimC too so I assume they mentioned stuff about 1n2d. Even something brief or a general idea would be much appreciated and of course always done at your convenience. I'm just so curious since they seemed to have had a lenthy interview this time and it looked very amusing. Thank you so much!
