OH, Lord... I love this forum! LOL. Sarangaia, if you could see me now. I'm laughing to pieces here reading your translations. I can't believe they are soooo open with eachother. Seung Gi peed right there in the shower? Oh goodness...LOL! Ho dong wiped the lens with panties? Seungi gi's panties! How awesome is this? Oh how I wish I knew Korean now. I know our boy loves his huyng's and all, but still he has to be extremely comfortable with his body in general to be able to do all that and not be embarrassed. What a cutie. This ep was another good one and I loved the well deserved KHD tribute and spotlight. He was THEE MAN. I felt pained watching it the whole time cause I was finding it a little cruel that he had to wrestle soo many guys when you could clearly see he was beat even after the first 2 or 3, but he managed to whip them all. Fantastic skills.

Thanks bedifferent for the wallies and more caps from the upcoming trip. This looks to be an eye opening experience for them all. 1n2d is truly a remarkable show. I just finished watching the new subbed ep and Seung Gi said something that was meant more as a joke, but he said this is suppose to be an entertainment show, but it feels more like a documentary. Which I found rather insightful. Honestly thats why i like this show so much now. It's documenting the growth of 6 people as individuals and also as brothers. It's reality TV, but compared to other reality shows (like the ones here aired in America) where there's an ultimate end and a goal that drives each individual to become self serving, this show is doing just the opposite. It's not fake, it's not pretentious, their given real scenerios to work out amongst themselves and the show just wants them to have fun doing it so we can have fun watching it. It's honest and simple, but it works. The viewers feel their genuiness and true friendship and that's the most appealing part of it all. I think Seung Gi looks and feels 10x's happier than he use to be before this show. It jsut shows in his face and body. Ahh... what love can do. hee hee.

She just said hi to you guys, and told you guys to go to sleep soon HAHA!!! ANYHOO, got back from Rhode Island earlier today. All of Saturday afternoon was practice with my team and then 3 matches throughout the day on Sunday. GRUELING on the body! I played well this weekend, so I'm happy about that. I had one of my teammates listen to some MCM while watching other teams play during our downtime, and she couldn't get into it... OH WELL!

RANDOM THOUGHTS BEFORE I GO TO BED:

My mom and I just watched the SOCCER EPISODE. The small tribute they did on KHD was SO SWEET. I can't wait to watch next week's (yesterday's) episode!!! The preview for it had the guys doing laundry but I read posts that said that KHD beat all 6 guys --- I'm confused. AH!!! In any case, the first 20 minutes of the episode was HILARIOUS!!! I loved it when in the 1N2D "gangster movie", MCM lifts up the big steel thingy and he had to drop it because it was too heavy HAHA!!! And LSGeun's phony Chinese - that was too much!

Sarang-unnie - you're right about the wiping the camera lens with LSG's undies. Oh MY!!! THANK YOU FOR THE PICS!!!
B-unnie - which wallpaper do I use for my laptop??? And I haven't seen the new Nell MV? Which song is the second single??? Speaking of EJW - I've always had a tough time with him because I always get the sense that he really doesn't want to be on 1N2D...or Come To Play for that matter. He always looks completely disinterested on CTP. I think I'm frustrated because he comes off as disinterested most of the time, and it's not just on account of the character he's playing...SIGH

MCM - any more news about his health? He was on STAR KING a few weeks back and there was a doctor that came on the show (he sang to patients - that was his talent - whatever), and MCM said that he occasionally blacks out/passes out

Dindunnie - The THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT article was just something that I think the editor of Cosmopolitan wrote about LSG - how nice and professional he was throughout the entire photo shoot. The other thing that you posted was something that the PD wrote about the Baekdu trip --- how inspiring it was, and how you could tell it affected each and everyone. There was a part that mentioned KimC, who had some family ties in North Korea, and how he cried out for his deceased father (MAYBE THIS IS WHY LSG LOOKS LIKE HE'S CRYING IN THE PIC???)

eequeezee Hi to your mom too! Haha, I wish MY mom was interested in LSG too, but she likes youtube-ing and reading online books. Hrmph. I know what you mean when you say EJW always seems disinterested. As much as I like the guy, I feel he always gives off this wierd vibe. Like he's never completely there and a part of him is wandering around, lost in his own world. Oh and thanks for confirming that my translation was correct. The guys just seem to talk faster and faster, more and more each week and sometimes its hard for me to catch what they're babbling about. I try my best though. ivey79 Yea, the forum is great isn't it? I LOVE THIS FORUM TOO!! I can totally imagine your reaction, cause I was laughing myself silly when I watched this scene too! When KHD wiped the lens with the green stuff which i later realised was SG's undies, I woke my sister up with my laughing I loved watching the wrestling matches, they were so exciting! I was on the edge of my chair for the last match, he nearly lost his balance! Woo, but he trounced them all, all six of them at one go! I was a little sad watching the wrestling match too though, because KHD seemed to be really tired out after the first few matches. He really puts in a lot of effort into the show! And he was a good sport to wash the uniforms after that even though he said his back hurt.

Ok, really got to go sleep. My dad came in and set the ultimatum, either i pull myself away from the computer and start getting some regular sleep, or he's going to come up with some creative solution to the problem (which, I'm sure won't be too pleasant..) Will post more tomorrow, and some other stuff on this week's 1N2D

bedifferent, just saw all your latest uploaded vids on Youtube. What a good Seung Gi fest. The old and the new. It was interesting watching the vids by year and seeing the changes vocally and physically with each year. And your right "Now and Forever" was one good vocal performance (after I got past the iffy English). He sounded relaxed and dang good and in parts of it I was worreid the studio couldn't hold his voice it got so big. Rarely do you get to see artists sing in their most free and relaxed states. Because he was so immersed in the song I think it sounded especially good and he really hit some high notes there. Very nice. And what's this about an even better performance? If you have it I'd love to hear "only one love" just see how it can get any better =)

dindunz, thanks so much for the pictures. Hmm, LSG! It's cute that you do that; but for your own safety (knowing how much you value your face), I would highly recommend you not get anywhere close to the voracious seagull and its meal of the day. In the event that it misses its target.

Now & Forever (2005) – I thought he was incomprehensible during the first verse, warmed up by the second one and was fine till the end. The voice was too large for the mic and the room (need to turn the mic volume down). His English improved since the “Love” duet with LSH. I really hope that he is recuperating well. You’re right, the cast is become one big family. O…kay, comfortable with each other is a great thing. But in front of a camera and the rest of the world? That must be really liberating to not care at all. Hehe. The big question for me is: what actually was on the cutting floor from this shower scene? The 1N2D editors must have a field day with this scene.

ivey79, 1N2D has more substance than it consciously wants to admit. I don’t think it would work if all six guys’ hearts are not in it. Or would it work if the show was tightly scripted. You don’t know how many times I laughed at the way they deviated off from their original plan. All the quirkiness and oddities somehow make the show even more charming. I love its randomness. I love that the six guys are not perfect beings. They have strengths and flaws and hopes and fears that we can all relate to. So when they succeed, we cheer for them. When they fall short, we empathize for their “almosts”. We laughed at their craziness and root for them to succeed over their challenges. Going back to the bungee jumping episode. I'm glad that LSG did not go through with the jump. If he did, it would take away the awesomeness of KimC action. If he did, I don't think I would have discovered this fine musician. Or appreciate his quiet caring nature toward his own fellow cast members. Because LSG did not jump, I've come to like him more. Especially for his honesty (that he may not be able to do it even if he is given a second chance). I like that he is matured enough to work through the failure and disappointment. I think it's totally fine to admit that sometimes, you do have limits and boundaries. He's human after all. LOL. BTW, it’s unbelievable how Heather has already getting controversial remarks on this latest episode about the ownership of Baekdu Mt. The show has not even aired yet!

I've always wondered how it is like to listen to LSG live on the radio. Without the theatrics of all the gayo shows. Without factoring in his stage performance. I mean truly just hearing the song and judging it on its own merit. I ran into this audio link awhile back. It's amazing to hear very little difference between the guy's live singing and his digitally-enhanced album. What do 'ya think?

When MCM caught the fish, MCM's manager said, "you must have the worst luck ever getting caught by Mc Mong!" haha.

Also, when the PD was driving the camping car and talking to LSG, LSG said that for the first time in his life, he actually started to get preoccupied with what other people thought about him, and wanted to surf the web to find out. The PD asked him, "so did you snoop around (the forums?)?" LSG sheepishly said, "I did..." and was actually relieved to find people so supportive (rather than knocking him for not jumping.

I'm on a plane in 6 hours so I gotta catch some Zzz's. I'll try to have better stuff when I get back.

Sarang-unnie - I forgot to tell you just how impressed I was by your aspirations to work with autistic kids. You are AWESOME.

Equeezee, good to hear from you! I can tell you are having the time of your life right and it sounds like your going to learn a lot this summer. And it's sweet you still find time to translate for us. I really found it interesting about the bit where you said Seung Gi for the first time in his life started to get preoccupied with what other people were saying about him. That really reveals a lot about him. Maybe that's his secret to being so happy and naive all the time. He must 1) be confident enough in himself and and his abilities to not care what others think or 2)one of those folks that has a philosophical view on life and allows everything to pass and not get caught up in negativity. Either I really find in enlightening and rather pretty cool. He's really starting to gain my respect too. It's one thing to admit your afraid to jump, but when he even admitted that given a second chance he wouldn't be able to do it, I thought that took guts.

bedifferent, thanks for all the links again. I love comparing old performances and new ones. So interesting, I like both just depends on my mood and what I want to hear. Raw and powerfull, or smooth and refined. It was a pitty that he didn't promote Smile Boy. I loved that song for the pep and power and I absolutely LOVED listening one particular part of the song that has him going through 3 consecutively higher notes. This live performance he did it just as well as on recording, so effortless. He definitely would've had fun promoting that one. The duet with PSY was pretty cool too. I didn't realize he wrote the song. Dang the man in really good. I guess I only knew him from a few game shows I saw him on and he seemed like such a funny comedian type I didn't really take him seriously. But the man is extremely creative and original. I give him props for his talent. And yeah, I've always love radio performances of Seung Gi's cause it's so natural and unembelished, no frills and no stage. Just the mic and the singer. When you sound better live than on record thats a good sign of a true singer. SeungGi's voice truly comes alive in that sort of atmosphere. I find it pure and soulfull and somehow very very satisfying. That's why I love getting my hands on any audio versions of his radio performances.

I can't wait for Music Bank either. It's going to be pretty sad when he starts focusing on the drama and there's much less Seung Gi to hear and see. But at the same time I dont' want to see him worn out. So hopefully his schedule won't be packed with too many other things (ie. commercials, performances, shows) other than 1n2d and the drama. I dread seeing entertainers pushed to exhaustion. Once you age, there's no going back. He's only 21, dont' want to see hi looking like he's 31.

bedifferent Thanks for the uploads and links! Yes, his music bank performance today is his last one. Read from leeseunggi.ifensi that its gonna be filmed together with MC Mong, and this performance will wrap up all the on going promotions for his current album and its off to film Iljimae for the boy. With 1N2D side by side of course, assuming everything goes well (I'm crossing my fingers hard!)

All right. 1N2D. The 6 guys really babbled away a lot this week, it was hard trying to follow their conversations sometimes. So here's some stuff that I found really funny.

In the bunk
Nothing much happens here, the guys just go to the army boys' bunk and start chatting up a storm with them, asking them to send their regards to their family through the show, and then they start opening a few lockers to explore the stuff in there. I noticed that their lockers are really nice, with different compartments that are big and roomy, not like the tiny and cramped army cabinets my guy friends are using now (In Singapore its mandatory for the boys to enter army at 18 for two years. My korean teacher says for korean guys, they usually enter the army in their second year of university, which puzzled me quite a little since there are so many celebs going in at age 30..) Before KHD started digging around in the guy's lockers, he started asking this guy some questions.
KHD: Do you watch 1N2D often?
Army Boy: Yes I do.
KHD: Which is the most interesting program in Korea?
Army Boy: ... 1N2D.
KHD: So who do you wish to see most?
Army Boy: (after a long pregnant pause) ... KHD ajusshi (ajusshi = middle aged man)
KHD starts cracking up after that because the guy actually called him ajusshi. LOL! The first locker that they explored was boring and empty, so KHD just slammed it shut it (haha!) and moved on to the second one where there was a picture of the guy on the locker. Apparently it was taken of him when he was 20, one year ago. So they were discussing the guy's age, and it turns out he's a 87 baby like Seung Gi, and they were commenting on how different their lives are now. ( I can't imagine if LSG has to leave for army, I think I will suffer from serious LSG live performance withdrawals...) Anyway the funny thing is that they were exploring the guy's locker, and they dug out a calendar from his locker which has a '쭝 생일" written on it, meaning Jjong's birthday.
Army Boy: Its my dong seng's (sister) birthday.
KHD starts questioning the poor army guy whether it really is his sister (or girlfriend), and EJW points out that Jjong is written all over the calendar, a dead giveaway that the 'sister' is a girl he likes and not his biological sister. EJW can be pretty sharp when he wants to be! So KHD starts bugging the guy, asking him whether he loves Jjong, and asking him to confess in front of the camera. At first the guy is really shy, and he says he doesn't like her, and KHD starts his interrogation.
KHD: Do you like her or do you love her? Do you like her?
Army boy: I'm CONCERNED about her..
KHD: (relentlessly) Do you love her?
Army boy: (has no choice but to admit) I love her.
KHD starts getting all excited about having forced the confession out of the shy guy. He asks the guy if he has anything to say to the girl and he says he hopes to see her. Aw, it must be so sweet to have a guy confessing on national tv on your favourite program that he likes you Anyway, they move on to the third locker, but before they can open the locker, all the army boys dashed out of the room after hearing a command shouted. And BOY, they did dash out FAST! In less than 3 seconds the entire soom was cleared out, leaving the 6 guys all bewildered in the room. LOVED the question marks that came out on the screen during this scene ????? It totally reflected the astonished expressions on their faces, like deers caught in headlight. Their expressions were PRICELESS. Even the usually disinterested looking EJW looked shocked. So the 6 guys followed the army guys out, and it turns out they are having some night drill thing. What happens next pretty much speaks for itself, I think I don't have to explain much. I found it really cute and funny how LSG looked so excited, amazed and shocked by the entire process When KHD was asking if it was a real life situation, LSG was like going "Surely not? Surely not? Aiyee hyung what are you talking about man??" LOL, he looked like a terrified little boy, and the second round of firing had him covering his ears and almost falling onto KimC, and the screen captions said "MOMMY!!~~". Actually, to be more accurate, ALL six of them looked like terrified little boys huddling together, not knowing what is going to happen next. After the whole thing, they find out that the person doing the Vulcan firing is the shy boy who made his love confession earlier. Jjong's man! KHD was screaming away "Are you watching this now Jjong??" LOL. I love the spontaneity of the show!

Back at KBS
So the trip has ended, and the guys are gathered at KBS for a 1N2D meeting. KHD arrives first, after which he leaves the meeting room and EJW comes in. EJW really acts like a small kid sometimes, the first question he asked when he went in was "Oh, am I in first place?" haha! Anyway, the PD tells him KHD arrived first and EJW goes out in search of KHD. LSG then arrives and starts sort of complaining how they have to come back at 12am, after which LSGuen, KimC and MCM arrives. The meeting starts when they start talking about how the ratings for 1N2D have stayed consistently high and hasn't fallen under 40% (its ridiculously high isn't it? just goes to show how far the program has come with the 6 guys), to which the six guys stand up to thank the audience. This part was funny cuz the staff sitting behind were all nonchalantly watching the 6 guys when they stood up, and KHD turned back to chide them "What are you guys DOING??!!" in the middle of his thank you speech, which made them snap up instantly. After the whole thank you speech, KHD and MCM started doing their whole bowing and thanking the audience routines. KHD kind of just shoved MCM aside to hog the camera to say "Dear viewers, I really love you. Oh teachers, I love you!" HAHA!! KHD and his teachers who seem to be everywhere. LSG hears this statement and mutters "Man, there really are so many of those teachers". LOL at his wisecrack. MCM then yells at the staff "WHY AREN'T YOU CLAPPING??!!" haha!

Anyway, after that the PD officially announces they are going to Baekdusan and there are some hilarious moments when they discuss the trip details and KHD starts acting all surprised about the trip. Will be back tomorrow to write about that, its 2am now and I'm BEAT. Hopefully I can finally find some time to upload those LSG ringtones and stuff i've been working tomorrow too.

*grrr.. they cut out the LSG contract part in the latest subbed eps. KBS!!! GIVE US OUR FUNNY MOMENTS BACK!!

Yea, group hug for me. I was a little sad watching the perf (even though i was grinning away, haha!) since I know this is going to be the second last perf before he runs off to shoot Iljimae. There's always the last one to look forward to, his special stage with MC Mong. Can't believe the whole round of promotions are going to end already. Seems like yesterday when I got all excited about his new single. Sigh. I hope time flies in the next few months, fast forward to November so that we can have loads of LSG time when Iljimae airs. The boy sounded great on the music bank perf. Great rendition, great smile, great outfit, great atmosphere, what a nice and relaxed ending to a lovely vacation promotion!

Ok, here's the last part to this week's 1N2D. Oh, and i realised I forgot to mention in my previous post how I found the part where MCM and his manager coming out of the lift really funny. The lift door opened and the two of them were just totally surprised and stunned for a second. MCM quickly regained his composure and swaggered over to the camera with that evil smirk on his face while his manager was still really confused behind him. And when his manager regained his composure, if you look carefully enough, he nearly got caught by the closing doors of the lift while walking out. For some odd reason, that totally cracked me up.

Baekdusan 1N2D team meeting
The guys are done thanking the audience for the continued support for the show, and they all calm down and settle down for the second half of the meeting, where the most important things are going to be discussed.
PD: Everyone. Our 1N2D team is going to BAEKDUSAN!
KHD then goes OOOOOOHHH!!! with a totally exaggerated expression, big round eyes, big opened mouth, the works.
LSGuen: (totally calm and unsurprised) Eh. Yea.. of course we are going.
Everyone starts laughing and the screen captions go "WE ALREADY KNOW ALL ABOUT IT~~!" Our LSG was then going excitedly on about how they had been already been bugged by the PD for their visas, passports and stuff and so they can't possibly be ignorant to this piece of news. And he was also going on about how they've been bugged so many times for the photos to be used for their China visas, and exclaims how KHD's acting is really superb, while all the other guys are laughing themselves silly. KHD does a rerun of his expression of exaggerated surprise, which has even the PD laughing himself to bits. EJW then mentions how there were so many news articles online dedicated to this 1N2D team going to Baekdusan issue, so how could they all fake ignorance (like KHD, LOL!) After that they played a mini introduction for the guys trip, and we return back to their discussion.

EJW: How about Sang Guen? (You can really tell that the guy loves that dog. He's always playing with it and concerned about it.)
PD: Because Sang Guen will have to be quarantined if he goes..
EJW: (in a very concerned tone) He's not going??
I think EJW then starts going on about how there's a world of difference between their situations, while they have to go BDS, Sang Guen gets to stay home, which again cracks everyone up. MCM suggests that they take a plane to get to BDS, which would them take 3-4 hours to get to China. The PD was like, do you actually think we will be taking the plane?
MCM: We are taking the boat? AGAIN??! Like how we got to Jeju?
BINGO! The older guys all start sighing.
PD: The boat is going to take 16 hours to get to China.
The guys look like a bomb was dropped onto their heads. 16 hours on a ship/boat is really crazy! KHD starts questioning the PDs on why things are going this way, while MCM tries to reason the PDs out of this crazy idea by telling them how hard it would be on the cameramen to lug around the equipment for 16 hours on the boat. Of course the PDs are not changing their minds on this! After they calmed down a little, the PD proceeded to tell the guys that they would have to take a bus for another 19 hours after the 16 hours on the boat, and the guys go crazy. 16hours+19hours=!!!!
LSGuen suddenly asks "I'm not going to have to drive the bus, am I??" HAHAHA!! He has plenty to be worried about since he's kind of the in house driver for the 6 guys. And the episode ends here. So looking forward to the episode for tomorrow! Oh yes, there was something i found really wierd in this episode too. The PD said 16 hours on boat and 19 on bus, which should add up to 35 hours. But the trailers at the end of the episode said they took 45 hours to get to the place. I'm lousy at math, but I'm pretty sure i didn't calculate 16+19 wrongly.. Let's see about this in tomorrow's episode.

Just watched his music bank performances again (for the like, 20th time? 30th? I've lost count..). Must say that while I loved the way his vibrato was working overtime in the 080627 performance, my favourite rendition is still the 080613 performance. I like outdoors performances better Did anyone feel that he sounded a little flat during some parts of the chorus in the 080627 performance? I hope I'm not offending anyone.. i loved the performance but when i rewatched it, it struck me that there were a few notes here and there that sounded slightly flat. STILL, its was a GREAT performance nevertheless and I'm so looking forward to next year, hopefully he can produce another great album then!

Can't wait for today's 1N2D to be up on CB. *anticipates*

Just watched the KHD wrestling episode. WOW. Two quick addendums to Sarang-unnie's awesome summary/translations:
When the young Marine (JJong's BF ha!) said he's a 87 baby, LSG said he was also a 87, and then they determined that the marine was actually younger than LSG by a few months. KHD then said, "LSG's our baby here, and to think that someone younger than him is protecting our country fills me with sorrow, but also thanks and pride." KHD - I love you!
At KBS for the baekdu meeting, EJW got upset about SangGeun not going on the trip because SangGeun was supposed to protect him from ghosts that live in the mountains - HA!

BACK INSIDE THE ROOM
KHD - Guys get in here.
Everyone marvels at the crazy big/long comforter. KHD announces it's the 1st bedtime of the new year and wishes for everyone's safety and health moving forward - and they all bow to the viewers for continued support. The blanket is to cover all of them together as one - literally and figuratively. They each get a photo-album as a present for the new year. They each read their cards:
MCM - (not sure how this translates exactly, but essentially he reads) In the new year, we hope you forget about your movie star dreams and apply yourself in becoming a stage performer.
LSG - We look forward to you still being around when the World Cup comes around in 2010.
EJW - There isn't anything long written (in my card): EunChoDing is to be around for LIFE. (haha) Wow that's scary.
KHD - KBS's entertainer of the year award for 2008 - Kang Ho Dong! We congratulate you a year in advance!
LSG - (essentially says) It's never good to count your eggs before they hatch (you're jinxing it!).
KHD shows LSG the pic of them together:
LSG - We came out so dark there!
KHD - But, but, why is there a portrait of Sangeun in here? (Caption on SangGeun reads "Because I'm special.")
KHD starts to get all sentimental but everyone's already gone off to wash up for bed, while KHD has no intention of washing up HAHA!

IN THE BATHROOM
The PD and LSG, along with LSGeun, laugh because LSGeun uses the bin (that you normally use to wash your face with) as a cup to rinse his mouth. LSGeun plays a prank on LSG - changing the warm water to cold, then continually pooring shampoo in his hair. LSG asks the PD if there's still shampoo to rinse off...then later we see KimC helping LSG rinse his hair, but the water is freezing cold now. LSG never bothered to check why the water went cold...HUH-DANG.

BACK IN THE ROOM (LOVE THIS SCENE!!!)
LSGeun - You were in there washing your hair for a hour!
Staff member - Seung Giya did you take a trip somewhere?
LSGeun - Seung Giya you look like (someone studying to be a judge? because of the hooded sweatshirt I think...). And here's the same person 20 years older.
LSGeun asks KimC why he's parting his hair, and it's because KimC decides to turn himself into a foreigner from India, and LSGeun becomes his translator:
KimC - namaste.........
LSGeun - Hello, my name is KimC.
KimC - @*#*#(@(@!!#
LSGeun - I have two motorcycles in my house.
KimC - *$(%(%#($#
LSGeun - It doesn't look like you'll starve to death (because he's pretty well off - he has two motorcycles!).

The guys then mess with LSG's bag:
KHD - (regarding LSG's underwear) Stretch this out a little and I think this will fit me.
More hilarity as KHD puts on LSG's headband.
KimC - What's this?
LSG - They're vitamins...
Then MCM comes in:
KimC - Wow you are goofball!
MCM - My skin's a bit sensitive that's why.
KimC - What are you doing???
LSGeun - It's a white monkey from Africa!
KimC - People put on individual medicated pads on their body but you put an entire pack on your face?!
MCM - I'm special.
Out of nowhere LSG starts shaving his face (SO WACKY!!!)
KimC - You're REALLY a goofball!!
Mong's dance (HAHAHA!!!)
KHD - I don't think this guy ever gets tired...
As they get into bed:
KHD - (to LSG) Come here kid --- can you fall asleep without me?
MCM and KHD tickle LSG.
LSG - STOP!!! It tickles! Tickles I said!
MCM - Wow Seungi actually got mad.
LSG - Really...it hurts
KHD - Ok ok... SuGeun-ah, how many days are left until you get married?
LSGeun - I think there's still a little over a month left.
KHD - *sigh*
KimC - *deep sigh* Good luck.
The two married guys don't sound too excited (haha!).
LSG - It's that bad huh hyungnim?
KimC - No (I sighed because) I'm happy. (ha!) Really though, I was on the phone (with my daughter) and when I told her I have to get on a bold come 3:00 in the morning, she sang "daddy/be strong/I'm by your side"
LSGeun - Really? You must be so happy.
LSG - You must be so happy.
KimC - It really made me happy.
KHD - Well...hearing that someone from home sang that to you is making me sad (meaning I wish I had a kid or I wish someone - my wife - sang that to me).
MCM - 'HoDong, be strong...'
LSG - 'You can make, more money' (since you're away working).

KHD - I love you guys.
KimC - Dream about me~
EJW comes in and everyone makes room for him.
EJW - This is nice - all of us sleeping together like this.
No one can sleep because of LSGeun's snoring. KimC gets up to sleep away from LSGeun, but before he does, he tucks EJW in (SO SWEET KimC!)

3:00 IN THE MORNING
As the PD wakes KimC/LSG/KHD up, he formally says, "Let's go." After the PD and KHD leaves ---
MCM - The way he said "Let's go," I thought he was a grim reaper or something...

INSIDE THE VAN
KHD says he's cold and asks about clothes and LSG & KimC reassures him that there's a jacket and stuff in the back...
KimC - Seriously, there is no other show like this one.
LSG - It's really amazing...
KHD also mentions that he thought he was being awakened by a grim reaper...
KHD - Did the PD say he's going too?
LSG - He told me he was.
KimC - The PD's getting on the boat with us?
LSG - yeah. I asked him if he was getting on with us and he said yes.
As we see the PD walk away, we hear a line from LSG's song: "It was all a lie/right now, I'm telling you to go/just leave" (HA!)

AT THE DOCK
LSG's wrapping his scarf around his neck:
KimC - Seung Giya, are you wearing your scarf? (Caption reads "Making sure his younger brother isn't cold - KimC)
FUNNY IN THAT HAT KHD!
KHD introduces us to the boat's skipper, who tells us that the trip will take 6 hours, then:
KHD:...we've spend some time on boats, and I want to ask - what do you do if you're dying from sea sickness?
SKIPPER - You just have to deal with it.
KHD - But you feel like you're going to just DIE!
SKIPPER - You don't DIE from sea sickness.
KHD - I see...

ON THE BOAT
The PD that DID go on the boat hands the guys fisherman pants to put on.
KimC - (psyching himself up for the trip) I feel like I can do anything.
KHD - This is SMALL!
Hilarity ensues as KimC/LSG help KHD put on his pants.
KimC - This isn't going up!
LSG - It looks like you've put on some weight overnight.
KHD/KimC - What is this?!
LSG - Your lower body is so slender!
KimC - It looks strange!
LSG - You look like The Penguin from Batman! (HA!)
A moment later:
KimC - Are you sleepy? Sea Sick?
Poor LSG nods. Then KimC goes over to KHD and asks if he's sea sick too, but it turns out KHD was actually sleeping HA!
KimC - He looks like a dead sea lion! (then referring to LSG holding onto the rope says) Are you giving birth? Push! Push! (HA!)
The guys look for the buoy and run into choppy waters. The guys complain about being cold, and sea sickness really kicks in for LSG...
LSG - I'm SO sea sick right now hyung. Is it ok if I go into the bunker for a bit?
KimC - of course - go on in.
The fisherman locate the buoy, draw the line, and pull in the crabs! KHD and KimC battle through sea sickness throughout (They're tough!). They partake in the raw conk, and although KHD is happy to put food in his stomach, it upsets KimC's stomach even more, and he throws up.

AT DAWN'S EARLY LIGHT
KHD - Seung Giya, did you get some sleep?
LSG - Oh, I'm sorry.
KHD - Why are you sorry? Your health is most important.
LSG - Did you guys catch all the crabs?
KHD - Yeah...Let's surprise the fishermen by making them ramen and serve it to them.
They use some of the smaller crab that the fisherman won't be able to sell to make the ramen extra tasty! They would normally throw these smaller crabs back to sea, but keep some to make ramen and other dishes. As LSG cuts off the crab legs:
LSG - I'm really sorry. I really wanted to do it (catch crabs).
KimC/PD - There's nothing you can do when you're sea sick like that.
LSG - Lying there, I could hear things like, "We caught them," and so on, but it all felt like a dream!
As the sun rises:
LSG - This is the first time I'm seeing the sun rise over the sea. It's rising, it's rising! KimC hyung, the sun's rising!
LSG & KimC marvel at how fast the sun rises. KimC & LSG are asked to tell us their New Year's wish:
KimC - It is my wish that our six 1N2D members always stay safe, that we're able to keep showing and telling about the many beautiful places our country has to offer, and that the show's success can match the hard work we put into it...
LSG - Me? As 1N2D starts the new year, I wish the show can continue to do well. I'm really regret that I came down with sea sickness and couldn't help out the crew - I feel so bad about returning without having done anything... It is my wish that we can present you with a 1N2D that is more fun, and more heartwarming - this is my resolution for 2008.

INSIDE THE BOAT'S KITCHEN
As the guys cook the crab-ramen:
PD - Do you have anything to say to the sleeping Mong and SuGeun?
KHD - You think our friends are sleeping right now? Don't you think they're at the loading dock waiting for our return? They have loyalty.
HA!!! Yeah right!

The way KHD serves the ramen to the men on the boat is SO LOVING. He of course serves the elders first, and then endearingly says:
KHD - and to our youngest Seung Gi, who suffered so much. Try it, see how it tastes. Isn't it good?
KimC - (enjoying the ramen) It tastes better having put in work.
LSG - Wow it's REALLY good! You eat a lot too hyung.

LSGeun and MCM were so happy to see KHD/LSG/KimC, and vice versa. There's nothing like togetherness.

Yay. I see that we now have a LSG weekend reporting thing going. Hehehe. Keep it up girls...

Re: “Vacation”. Same thoughts here. There was less energy in the last live. The outdoor one was his best live take so far. I actually like the Love Letter perf. Faster tempo, vocal is a bit less nasal. He really attacked the song in that one.

I seriously was in tear during the sweatpants moments. The boys are soooo SILLLLLYYYYY. I've never laughed so hard... EJW and OMG, LSGeun. They slayed me, honey. Hahahahaha. If you can only summarize a portion of today's eppie, I'd love to hear all about those LSGeun moments. This was his episode. He literally had them in stitches many time so I wonder what were said. The man is gifted in physical comedy for sure. **run back to watch the rest of 1n2d in details** Ohhh, and ... black glasses are not really working for me. There are more than a few better, fantastic looking spectacles out there.

Thanks [T.O.P.] Sunlight for the translation (again). Wait, are we back to the “either-or” scenario again? Oh boy. I guess things are still undecided in LSG-land. Whatever the decision is, I hope that it allows LSG some flexibility. Cause the best laid out plan often is not. IMO, if MBC is planning to air Iljimae in November, casting should have been more or less completed by around now or July. Instead, we only have the two leads confirmed. Even LSG's schedule has not been planned out in detailed yet. The only way for LSG to continue with both shows is to have an early jump on producing the drama. At this rate, there's a chance that the drama's airing date could be delayed past November (or) it will require them having to shoot scenes as the drama is airing. That would seriously prevent LSG from joining the 1N2D cast. There is just something odd about this drama. It has all the signs of a doomed/scratched project – yet, MBC is hanging onto LSG for all it's worth. Hmm, I just hope that Iljimae turns out to be good enough to justify all the hype that it generates. Sigh.

eequeeze: Wow, thank you for the translation. I have to go back and see the 1N2D episode before commenting. You're right. Many Korean males do enlist prior to the cut off age. Lots of Korean celebrities tend to wait until 28. Aww, it is sweet of KHD to acknowledge and praise those deserving army men. Yes, I'm crossing my fingers that LSG will sing part of the OST. I'd love for the song NOT to be a ballad; but it's highly likely that it would be the case since this is a historical drama. A duet sounds perfect though I doubt that it will be with a male singer. The trend right now is for the artist/group to feature female singer in the song, isn't it? How about a Tae Yeon/LSG duet?

I don't think anything is set in stone yet. All are still speculations. It does highlight the dilemma of balancing two shows that require unwaivering commitment. I'm glad that more serious thoughts are given toward this topic. It is not feasible for one man to be physically or emotionally involved in both. MBC does have the upper hand in this fight. I'm actually impressed at how LSG and his camp are handling this issue. Just hope that everyone keeps his best interest in mind while ironing out the solution. Which is often not the case by the studio heads. I still think that 1N2D can get away with giving LSG a hiatus. Not necessary a long 6-month one, but long breaks here and there. Maybe 1-2 months at a time and filled his slot with a rotating guest. Maybe he can film a couple of episodes here and there whenever time permits. They can make those into LSG-specials. Ha. Ratings may suffer if LSG leaves but I think 1N2D has enough fan loyalty now to be consistently a rating success. Perhaps not a rating monster like it is now. In any case, it would be the nice thing to do.

Think its time for me to go read the forum rules (which i have been putting off from day 1 since i joined). Haha, even though you don't share the same sentiment, I did like Seung Gi in those big black glasses (which is really rare since I usually loathe thick rimmed spectacles). I thought he looked quirky and a little oddball, which turned out to be sort of cute. LOL, was I even making sense in that previous sentence? Must be watching too much of the 6 goofy guys. I've lost my rationality for a second, haha!

The whole LSG Iljimae stuff sounds so iffy and fluffy at the moment to me. Like a cloud of pink cotton candy. One moment they are saying things will work out both ways for 1N2D and Iljimae and the next they say things are uncertain. Which irks me a lot since I like certainty. I want to know once and for all if the guy is leaving or staying in 1N2D so that I can get over and be done with it. Sometimes i get the feeling that MBC is being weirdly secretive about the whole drama. I mean, what do we know besides the fact that the drama is gonna air in November and the names of the leads? Almost close to nothing. I hope the whole thing is so hush hush because they want to make a version that's better than the current SBS one (which i think is a hard job, since it REALLY good) and not because its about to be canned. With all that hype, the drama better blow us away with its awesome-ness, and hopefully boost the boy's career even further.

Ok, this is a little out of topic, but since we discuss 1N2D so much here, I thought I might as well post it here too. I found a really cute pic of the 둘리(dooly) as well as the opening song to the cartoon. You know, I was laughing myself silly when I saw the dooly. EJW really really did a great job of mimicking the Dooly! The cartoon is really nice, looks like the old fashioned, painstakingly hand drawn animation and not all that junky digitally enhanced things we get today.

Ok, finally to this week's 1N2D. Many many many many funny moments! I was watching it over breakfast and had to stop halfway because I was afraid I would send my food down the wrong pipe laughing. I'll try to summarise to the best of my ability. Will only be able to do around half today, more tomorrow

Baekdusan!
The boys start chattering excitedly about their trip to Baekdusan, and in the middle of the discussion, EJW gets LSGuen to demonstrate how their trip to China might turn out.
EJW: Take this line (on the floor) to he the national boundary between the two countries. This (Sang Guen) is the military dog. (to Sang guen) Sit. Sit. Sit. Sang Guen, sit! (to LSGuen). Ah~. What matter do you have here?
LSGuen starts muttering unintelligibly in his fake chinese accent and gesturing. EJW pretends to understand and salutes to LSGuen while LSGuen goes "BYE BYE!~" and walks off, leaving the rest of the guys to giggle their heads off.

The guys start then giving their thoughts on the trip, to which KimC very sweetly says bye to his daughter onscreen Its EJW's turn next.
EJW: Everyone is curious about Baekdusan and wants to see her quickly, but I'm more concerned about the ghosts that live in the mountain (i think he's talking about the ghosts again, LOL!) I'll make sure I take a photo of them. I will definitely take a photo and I will definitely make sure all our audience sees it. (HAHA!!~)
KHD asks EJW to make the face he will show the mountain ghosts and mean dooly eun cho ding surfaces again. Goodness, the guy is so funny!
KHD: Alright, and now..
LSGuen: I... ...
LSG: (laughing) Why are you not even calling his name?
LSGuen: Alright, I'm 'and now'! (everyone starts laughing madly at how LSGuen jsut adopted two random words as his name) My grandfather used to think of going to Baekdusan while he was alive. Now I'm going and I will come back well (to complete his wish).
KHD: Ahh!~ Your grandfather's hometown? (Where is) his hometown?
LSGuen: His homeown is in (KyungGido) Yang Peong.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone is left speechless. They start going on at LSGuen at how he made it sound like as if his grandfather had some ties with Baekdusan when it wasn't the case. LOL. He's a funnyman!

At the ferry terminal
PD: Have you ever taken a boat to go overseas?
LSG: Take a boat to go overseas? No! I only saw it in movies. (HAHA! this somehow reminds me of the strawberry-supermarket comment he once made)
KHD: We should do a bow for us to have a safe trip and return safely.
MCM: (in utter annoyance) ?? Ah, what bow? We have to go now!~
KHD starts protesting behind him.
MCM: All right, then we'll do it! Hyung, stand by the side. (to the staff) Does anyone have a man won (10,000 won) note?
He digs out a note from one of the staff member's wallet, and stuffs it up KHD's nose! I have no idea why he did that. Someone on the 1N2D thread said its customary to bow to a pig's head, which i think may be the reason. Lots of Asian cultures have this practice, maybe the koreans are no different. Even though I found it funny, I thought it was a little rude and disrespectful to do so, not only to KHD, I mean, money is currency that represents a country after all. Shoving it up a senior's nose just doesn't sound like the right thing to do. Still, I understand that its all in the fun and to create effects for the show.
LSG: Hyung, rest your head here (on the luggage).
The four guys then start bowing to KHD, who desperately is holding in his laughter. Funny! EJW was missing from this scene though. Wonder where he went. To wish for luck in meeting those elusive mountain ghosts maybe? LOL.

On the ferry
LSG brought this really HUGE luggage this time round, which he apparently had some trouble lugging around, LOL.
LSG: There are so many stairs around! Phew! (pushes his large bag into the resting area) WOAH! Is this where we are gonna sleep? Can't sleep because of all that snoring.. (ahh Seung Gi, we all know that)
KHD: (looking at LSG try to settle his huge luggage) You are hiding someone in your luggage aren't you?
LSG: (still struggling with his luggage) Haha! No I'm not.. i'm still thinking of who to fit in and haul to Baekdusan.
KHD: Ah, just your girlfriend or something..
LSG: NO!~

The guys then go out to the deck, where they then start feeding the seagulls. Ok, I really gotta go catch some sleep. Be back with more funny parts tomorrow, i promise!

Feeding the gulls
The guys are all on the deck, super excited about their trip!
KHD: (to jiwon) Hey, Dooly blown by the wind! Do a dooly face in the wind! (lifts Jiwon's shades) Here, Dooly resisting the wind!
OH MY GOODNESS! The dooly face here has got to be the BEST out of the many Jiwon has shown us these days. It was HILARIOUS!!
KHD: So over there we are able to see our famous Incheon bridge.
Apparently the bridge is still under construction, and the guys marvel over it
KHD: When this bridge is completed, where does the boat go to get to the other side then?
EJW: Between the gap (from the bridge to the sea)
LSG: No look, its really tall! (the captions say that the bridge is 74m tall)
Well, then the guys start discussing the bridge fast forward all the discussion and they see a bunch of seagulls hover over them. KHD gets the idea to lure the seagulls onto his shoulder, and asks if there are any crackers available. Meanwhile the other guys are all VERY excited and keep screaming that the seagulls have arrived, LOL. Someone passes them some crackers and they start feeding the birds. They're HILARIOUS when trying to feed the birds. The first to try was MCM, and everyone was screaming "THEY'RE COMING! THEY'RE COMING!" and when the seagulls really did peck at their crackers, everyone just went mad. They were so pleased with themselves when the seagulls took their crackers! So KHD asks the dooly to feed the birds.
KHD: Here, here here dooly!
EJW: I'M SCARED!!!! (puts up his hand, and the seagull pecks at the cracker)
Then LSGuen tries to attract 4 seagulls at a go by putting a cracker on each of his fingers (what a goofball!), while KHD gets creative and decides to get the seagulls to kiss him. BUT... the seagull rejects eating the crackers from his mouth! LSG decides to try it too, except that he uses an entire STACK of crackers instead of just one like KHD.
EJW: Seung Gi yah, if we look at you from the side, you look like the seagulls too! (referring to the crackers looking like the seagull's beaks, HAHA!!)
Someone helps LSG lure the seagulls at the side, and down swoops one of them to peck at the crackers. Everyone goes crazy again, especially KHD, who lets out a loud SEUNG GI YAH!!! and proceeds to lift the guy up.
LSG: I thought my jaws were gonna fall off!
That marks the end of their feeding session and its back to their resting area for the guys.

1N2D butt dance
The guys are all back at the resting area, sitting down and going through their luggage.
MCM: I've prepared something!
KHD: What did you prepare?
MCM: (leaning over to grab a big white bag) I've prepared sleep clothes (pajamas) for us. I went to the shop to get them made.
KHD: It has our faces on it?
MCM: For yours hyung, I think you look coolest when you are wrestling (ssireum).
He pulls out KHD's shirt and it has a young KHD's face on it, the KHD who was still a wrestler. KHD then gives an absolutely funny expression, like half in agony and wanting to kill MCM, and half wanting to laugh out loud. LOL! After everyone has gotten their shirts, MCM announces that he has pants for them too.
MCM: Look at this (the pants). It looks normal and ordinary on this side. Ok everyone, say 'One two three'.
Everyone else: One. Two. THREE!!
MCM: (excitedly, trying to hype everyone up): ONE NIGHT, TWO DAYS!!!~~
But... the guys have no reaction! EJW slaps MCM with his shirt. After which EJW is the first one to excitedly put on the pants. He then pokes his round and cute butt out with 1N2D written on it, and proudly exclaims '1N2D!!!', which amuses the other guys to no end.
LSGuen: When the china people see this (the pants) they're gonna think we mended our pants! (HAHA!! LSGuen is FUNNY!~)
Everyone cracks up at the 1N2D mended pants joke. Seung Gi decides to try on the pants too.
LSGuen: You try 1N2D (the butt exclaimation) too, Seung Gi yah.
LSG: Haha, me?
LSG tries, but his version of the looks flat, not like EJW's full and round version. KHD complains and asks LSG to do it like EJW, and asks EJW to do a demonstration. LSG gets frustrated and promptly tucks his shirt into his pants, which draws laughter from the other guys. He then shakes his butt around, which makes them laugh even harder. LOL! Our LSG is so cute sometimes. LSG decides to be funny and wears the pants the opposite way so that the words come out in front instead of at the back. After that EJW proceeds to give a mini tutorial on how to poke you butt so that it comes out in a nice and round fashion. FUNNY! The six guys decide to do the butt 1N2D greeting together once.
KHD: Ok, let's try it.. (to LSG) Why are your legs always stretched out??
They discover that LSG's legs are always pointing outwards when he does the butt greeting, which is wrong since the legs are supposed to be parallel to each other when doing the pose, and they figure that is the crux of the problem, LOL. After that, they all do the butt greeting together, and are promptly led to feel VERY embarrassed when they see an old lady peeking in from the window at them.

Dinner
EJW: They are all not koreans here, right? Their accents sound strange.
Staff: (speaking in korean) We are Chinese.
LSGuen: Ah. How many of you are Chinese?
They reply that all of them are Chinese. Really, the chinese staff on the ship speak and understand korean really well even though they have a strange accent. So much better than me!! The guys are all amazed by the chinese staff who can speak korean so well.
MCM: Do you know me?
Staff: Yea. You're MC Mong.
LSGuen: How did you know that he is MC Mong?
Staff: We watched Love letter..
MCM: Love Letter.. ah, so you would know me and KHD. Is KHD famous in China?
Staff: Yes.
KHD makes his grand appearance, clapping his hands. He asks about the staff and gets to know that they are Chinese.
KHD: Do you know who I am?
Staff: Yes..
KHD: (laughing away merrily at the thought of being known by foreigners) How is it that you guys know me?
Staff: Love letter...
KHD then settles down to eat dinner and after that, they start to play games.

Games
The guys are asked to do the mandatory dance for the girls to aid them in the couple selection (if you have watched love letter before you will understand this section), starting with MCM. LSGuen is next and he does an absolutely side splitting peppershaker-sneeze dance, which amuses all the girls. LSG is up next, and he does his bounce dance again. You can see one of the girls smiling really happily at him. Next up the girls have to dance, and KHD decides to have some fun after that asking the girls to vote who they think is the best looking out of MCM, LSGuen and KimC.
MCM: (groaning) Ah, hyung whya re you ALWAYS like this??
KHD: (to the girls) Everyone. (This is) Number 1, number2 and number 3. Please vote for who you think is the best looking out of the three, raise you hands if you want to vote. Ok this is guy number one. Please vote.
But... NO ONE VOTES FOR KIMC!! KimC turns and hugs the pole behind him in embarrassment. Ahh. Feel so sorry for KimC. He may not be goodlooking but he's really a great guy at heart.
KHD: Ok now, this is number two(LSGuen). If you think he's good looking please vote.
EVERYONE votes for LSGuen!!!!! Of course the guy is happy to no end, and he does his hilarious sneeze dance again. No one votes for MCM too, and KimC is so happy that MCM in in the same boat that he screams YAY! LOL. So LSGuen is number one in the girls hearts. HAHAHA!

You Tube is driving me insane. . o51029, HELP! I've tried to both upload the original .flv as well as the converted .avi or .wmv files. I even tried to tweak the quality of the videos. But alas, not working! Do you have any suggestion for better .flv uploads? Maybe I should just leave the .flv file alone. Some have said that the less you force YT to manipulate the files, the better? Readers, can anyone help me with these techie questions?

Sarangaia, thanks for the translations. I'd be freaked if a bird came diving at me but the birds here are pretty vicious hehe. It was funny how all of them were so excited about the birds. And EJW's faces are so very cute and funny. Haha he really looks like dooly when he does it. It brings back memories from when LSG used to dance to the dooly theme song.

bedifferent, thanks for the links, I love those radio performances! The MC Mong and LSG special stage looks...interesting. I'll reserve judgement until I see the actual broadcast and the full performance, but it doesn't seem to jive as well as the duo in YDH LL.

I'm afraid I can't really help with the videos and youtube troubleshooting. When something uploads wonky, I usually just delete it. If you do convert the .flv file to something else, I think convert to same or better quality as the flv file (bitrates, and framerates). I usually upload the .flv as is. Of course if you find a non-flv file, that's usually best. Too bad all those streaming sites use flv.

eequeezee, thanks for your translations too! I rewatched and laughed my ass off again basically the whole way through now that I understand what's going on. Have fun on your trips.

LSG looked really shocked that he got picked and he kept asking "Me? Is it me?". Such a cutie. I didn't like this particular female staff though. She gave off a weird vibe. Maybe I'm just sensitive Anyway, its time for the last female staff to pick her man.
KHD: Do you have a boyfriand?
Female staff 5: No, I don't.
MCM: You know, when i used to be on loveletter, I was REALLY popular (with the ladies)! I even got 3 votes once!

I think EJW then tells LSG something like your personal affairs are really uncomfortable, meaning that LSG is in an awkward position. Can't really make out what he was saying.
Female staff 1: (to LSG) Don't feel burdened, just choose as your heart tells you (ah, the girl is nice!)
LSG chooses the nice girl! Then KimC walks out to lead the other girl away in a really funny manner, like some lecherous male patron. FUNNY!!

Games
KHD tells the rest that the best couple will get ice cream as a present, as well as signed CDs. We start with the KimC couple. For convenience sake, I'll just call the girls they are playing the game with their partner and i'll put the word they have to describe in a bracket. The game is simple, they get the chinese girls (who presumably don't speak korean as well as the guys) to describe the word that is flashed and the guy has to guess it. They have 60 seconds for each round.

LSGuen pretends he understands and starts gesturing wildly again, LOL!!
KimC: Why are you getting so angry all of a sudden?
LSGuen: (repeats the chinese phrase) She's saying I'm really short!
KimC: No, it means do you know how to swim!!
LSGuen: Oh, really? I could have sworn it was her saying I'm short..

Finally has time to see the show again. Much more enjoyable with your translations, sarangaia. KBS World subbed versions are trimmed too much that your summaries are absolutely great for the more complete Korea-aired ones. Thanks so much. Just some random thoughts on this past episode.

I find it interesting that EJW appears to be a spiritual person. Well, or at least one that is very afraid of the spirits. LOL. I mean for someone with that high of an IQ, you’d figure that he probably is quirky. And HE IS. The puzzling look that he gives them sometimes are too funny for words … “I don’t know what I’m doing here, do I belong with these people?” He bears an uncanny resemblance to Dooly. Thanks for those kute cartoons. I giggled badly at LSGeun fake Chinese accents. He’s someone whom I’d totally go camping with. BTW, what is he doing with the First Aid bag anyway? I don’t know if I would feel safe having LSGeun do emergency care on me.

Seunggi’s suitcase is huge… Sang Geun could have fit in it. Cosmetic products alone shouldn’t take up that much space. It’s a sure sign of an inexperience traveler. So endearingly dorky of him Feeding those seagulls looks so fun. Very cute. I would be slightly afraid if I have to feed them. Never liked birds. Big birds. Big hungry birds that come swooping down onto your face especially.

The silence following MCM’s unveiling of the sweatpants was hilarious….??? EJW and his choreography! What! They’re embarrassed at being watched by grandma? Hey, how about the camera and the rest of us? LOL. The captions/special effects are at work overtime once again. They’re half of the 1N2D fun. They truly are the 7th cast member.

Love Letter- LSGeun is crazily good at physical comedy. That has to be one of the BEST Love Letter dances! Seunggi dancing is still as awkward as ever. EJW dance, imitating his partner’s, is too funny. I burst out laughing at KimC ecstatic scream toward MCM and his unmistaken joy at the end from finally getting a partner. Even if it’s by default. LOL. The guys are really serious about the game. I’ve never seen them so dejected. I think I lost count of how many times they hugged the pole. Ha, the male pride. It’s such a kick to see MCM exaggerated emotions after he was chosen. Speed game was entertaining. Once again, Su Geun rulezz. It’s his episode. His shotgun Chinese is so silly. And for him to get offended because he misunderstood left me ….

I'm already craving for LSG's live performances already. The guy is a great entertainer, is funny on 1N2D, was a decent actor in the Infamous Chil Princesses, but I still like him most when he opens his mouth to sing, wholeheartedly. Just LSG the singer, plain and simple. Maybe that explains why I've been rewatching a lot of his live performances on youtube lately.

After the game, the girls mention that they didn't know what 올챙이 (tadpole) is.
MCM: Before it becomes a frog..
The girls: (finally understanding the meaning) AHH!!!~~ 蝌蚪！(read as ke dou, means tadpole in chinese)
LSG: What did they say, is that the equivalent (of tadpoles)?
LSGuen then proceeds to explain with his phony chinese what 올챙이 (tadpole) means. Notice when he was explaining, he stuck out his legs, which made everyone laugh into pieces. Its funny because he was trying to explain what a tadpole was with this korean nursery rhyme, in phony chinese of course. Go HERE to check out the nursery rhyme. You will understand why its so funny after watching it.

EJW: (guessing what she means) Police?
Partner: The person who they catch.
EJW: The person who the police catch? The person who the police have to catch? Thief?
Everyone is amused at how EJW manages to somehow get this right. EJW is a smart kid all right. The last question is frog, but the time is over before EJW's partner gets to explain it.
KimC starts protesting at the absurd way EJW managed to get the police question right against all odds.
EJW: Aieeee, I just thought of it from her point of view! (smart kid!)
So the dooly EJW couple wins the game

Bedtime
KimC plays the guitar while LSGuen sings along. KHD and LSG look on in awe, and when LSGuen is almost reaching the end of the verse, KHD says "Chinese version!" and LSGuen ends it off with his phony but funny chinese accent again, which leaves LSG and KHD in stitches. LSGuen decides to sing Baby One more Time in his phony accent, together with some ET finger touching finger motion. FUNNY!! MCM gets interested, and he sits up and says "Baby One More Time, the idiot version!" He rolls up his pants at the ankles and starts doing a silly dance, slapping himself until he falls onto the ground. The PD comes in to talk to them
PD: Today is your first day, so just sleep early, so that you can save your energy and strength..
KHD: Oh yes, ahh, we will take your advice.
PD: But there's a piece of bad news... We were originally scheduled to reach at 9 am tomorrow, but the captain just informed us that we will reach at around 11 am instead.
KHD: Which means we will be on the ship for 19 hours.. (to which the PD says its closer to 18 hours.)
The guys proceed to have fun in the night, singing at 11.20pm, admiring photos at 11.30pm, playing chess at 12am, watching TV at 1am, chess again at 1.30am, PSP at 2am, washing up at 2.30am, Tv at 3am again, until they finally fall asleep. Gosh, these guys sleep later than I do! I'm usually knocked out by 2.30am the latest.
The next day the guys wake up and join the captain to marvel at the sight, after which they give some insight into their thoughts, and its off to wait for this sunday's episode!

I think the chemistry is there; definitely less obvious than in YDH because of the song choice. They don't seem to mesh as well. Hmm. Hello all, it's been a while since I've posted. Busy week and I haven't been feeling well so coudln't muster the energy to post. But feeling much better now. Thanks everyone for all the updates and pics. Sarangaia and Eeqeeuzee I am sooo AMAZED at you guys for your dedication to translating. I have to agree that your subs are WAY better than the KBS world ones just for the fact taht you guys add in your two cents and make it funny and your own. Bedifferent thanks for always posting new updates and finding old files. Where would we be without your constant flow of wonderfull past Seung Gi performances. They let us not forget his wonderful voice and range and fill our cravings for more of that adorable boy. Dindunz and o51029, thanks for the pick updates. So Seung Gi's got a new commercial coming up? I hope he's making some good now. He's so popular.

I feel some bittersweetness coming on too. It's been so fun this last year with him being on 1n2d and especially lately with his promos of his 2nd remake that it's going to be so so hard not to see him if he goes into full drama making mode and leaves 1n2d. He's at such an incredibly wonderfull stage in his life right now, I just want to bottle him and keep him this way forever. He's 21, part man, part boy, and still oh so naive and innocent. We're seeing him grow up and who knows, in 6 months time he will have experienced more, learned more, and grown up more. He may not be as willing to do all those silly things he does not. Maturing is inevidable, but I hope he stays as he is a little longer. Goofy and sweet.

Look forward to the last music bank performance. Look forward to seeing the bright and happy Seung Gi.

Another quick snippet, Bedifferent, just saw the TagStory for vol. 3. Still can't get over how different he looks with that short hair. Almost as if he's a completely different person to me. The aura and confidence level is so different. Mature and masculine. I like both, but mostly I LOVE the clothes during that promotion period. They were HOT. Hee hee. Thanks for the memories

syille Hi! Yes, White Lie 착한 거짓말 is Lee Seung Gi's song. Its from his 3rd album called Story of a Separation 이별이야기. You can buy the album from www.yesasia.com, if not you can run a simple search on google for downloads links to the album, should be pretty easy to find. I bought mine from yesasia though I loved the pictures too much so I decided to buy the cd, plus yesasia sells them really cheap, with free shipping

Well guys, I've been watching LJK's Iljimae these days, and the latest episode had me crying buckets. Started watching it to check out what kind of competition LSG is up against. I can't help but say, SBS version of Iljimae is GOOD (and this is coming from a person who usually loathes watching korean period dramas). LJK's acting is good, and the storyline is really getting better and better with each episode (it really just sucks you in when you watch it), and it helps that the series has a WONDERFUL supporting cast with superb acting skills and a great OST. Its going to be a tough act for LSG to top this version of Iljimae, IMHO. I can forsee a lot of comparison in the near future. As it is now, the SBS version is doing really well, and the ratings are really high, so I don't know if the same people watching the series now would want to watch another version again in November. I really really really hope things will go well for LSG. Oh, and ivey79, you are right, I'm really going to miss seeing LSG when he goes into full drama filming mode and (please no!) leaves 1N2D. I'm already missing his music performances already. Ahh. I'm really a music junkie. LOL. Well, let's just enjoy things as they are now
