sarangaia: TY for the translations. I got a chance to see this week’s episode. Love the montage at the end. So adorable. My cynical self usually is allergic to anything closely resembles it. But this time, I totally fell for it. There’s just something sweet and genuine about their friendships. Not at all overly saccharine.

o51029, I just want to throw this topic out for discussion. With Vanny’s account closed, how do you feel about the idea of re-uploading LSG’s old perfs? I mean it’s something on my mind but I’m not sure whether Vanny will do that herself. There are many LSG perfs floating around in YT, it’s just not concentrated in one channel like before. Plus, they’re not complete either. Even if someone wants to re-upload these vids, I think the task may be too big for just one person. Or is it worth it at all to do it? I think there probably are a lot of files in café.daum.lsg, yah? Anyways, just want to see how you feel about it. It 'd too bad if the vids remained private. There were some excellent perfs that should be seen and appreciated. Though I wouldn’t do anything just yet given the way YT is right now. Just something to think for the future. Other readers, any input? BTW, I really appreciate the folks over at lsg.ifensi for posting all these pics and vids so that I can share them here. It’s just kinda weird seeing the reverse sometimes now - my and your (o51029) YT videos being posted in their threads. I'm almost done with the episode (Am at the part where they're all on the bus and LSG's voice fails him and everyone makes fun of him) - I will PM you the translations most likely some time tomorrow. I won't post it because it's VERY long, and also, I think people will enjoy watching the episode with the subs in it. Bee-unnie, you'll have about 97% of the episode's lines and captions. I spaced the paragraphs, used the same punctuations at times, and gave you parantheticals to assist you with the timing. And oh yeah btw - I translated that one episode where they go catch crabs. Should I take another look at it and translate out whatever I summarized (instead of translating)? Lemme know.

Just a couple of thoughts about the episode I'm almost done with:

I may be reaching a bit here, but you can't help but get the sense that for some reason, the weather in Jejudo & Udo island just did not want 1N2D there that day. The winds were stinging, and the waves were truly trying to engulf or hurt them: watch closely, and while I'm not 100% certain, LSG hurts his finger while trying to stick the flag into the ocean floor, and also, we now know that KimC truly struggled to get out of the water. Take a look at the way KHD sprints into the water to get to KimC, and his big heart shines (as it always does). Somwhere within all this, the guys showered together (not sure about the others, but first time for MCM). They lent each other underwear. LSGeun and LSG meshed. EJW did something very un-EJW-like, and also displayed true affection (which is rare too) toward KimC.

Again, I'm so happy to be able to have a hand in getting this episode out to everyone to watch with subs.

I have other things I wanted to ramble about but I'll do it tomorrow after I finish subbing. Need to get some sleep.

Hey all! Thanks Sarangaia for the subs as usual. Particularly helped with the couple segments cause there was so much talking. I really adored this weeks ep. I think it really allowed everyone to shine on their own and interact with eachother in a way they didn't get to before. Really showed true freindship. I loved each couple and at first I wasn't so sure about the Jiwon and Seung Gi couple, but it turned out great! The smart, witty boy and the eager, innocent kid. Very, very cute. Loved how Jiwon got Seung Gi to do all the selling while he ate the noodles. Just classic Jiwon. There was too many cute Seung Gi moments in the ep to count. And thanks bedifferent for the "bicep pics". I got an eyefull this week too while Seung Gi was pumping that Wii remote. Good grief I had to rewind it a couple of times to make sure I was seeing it right. I think his arms got even bigger since the last time he showed them off in the camper. But his expression while he was playing was the most precious. LOL. I get the feeling he doesnt get to play games like this too often cause he looked like a little boy having the most fun. So cute. The question game at the end was real funny too. Seung Gi was sooo enthusiastic, he practically jumped at every single question whether he really knew it or not. LOL. I didn't mind cause it was funny and dang the boy looks good wet. I've decided my favorite look on a guy has got to be the wet hair with bangs look. Just love the tousled carefree, clean and fresh look. Or maybe I just like it Seung Gi



Thanks again guys for even considering to reupload all those vids. It's absolutely crazy of YT to do this to people. My gosh, what good does it serve? I guess I jsut dont' really understand it considering TV/radio is a free medium for people anyways. What's the hard in saving something that's been publicly broadcasted to share with people. Why take away everything? I wish I was more computer savvy to help you guys. Hats off at whatever is decided.


Eeqeeuzee, looking forward to your next subbed ep. This is really awesome that we are going to enjoy subbed eps. Really awesome. That was a really special episode. I have a feeling there was a lot of really good footage that was not shown from that trip. We some pics with pool sticks so I'm sure they had a lot more games going on. Would'nt it be nice if they could do a special and show some unreleased footage? Maybe someday when all the guys need like a month long break or something they could do that as a filler. Either way, thank you and the team for all the hard work. Hope your enjoying the last bit of your summer before you head back to school. I'm doing my best to just enjoy the warm weather while it lasts.

I'm finally catching up on 1N2D.
I'm on the 2nd China episode and realized just how much I really appreciate this show. Along with the humor and general great-ness about the boys, I truly enjoy being able to get to know other places and learning new things, this show is just so different from other variety programs, on many different levels. I didn't know some of this stuff about N.Korea and seeing the boys reflect on some of the issues really made me happy. This show is able to not only offer weekly laughs, but seriously, a lot more--- and I value this show greatly for not just being that ordinary teenybopper show.
btw- I love the way Seungki has changed so much--- starting with the cravings for chocolate first thing in the morning.. to the butt shaking. hehe;;;
Also, I really love how the boys are so close now. A few months ago I thought this, but even more so now. I feel they have an inseparable bond; I really hope the cast will stay the same for a long time.

hehe sorry gals for going back and talking about such an old episode...

OH and btw--- I LOVEEE how they did a "shooting" of Love Letter(//&&ChunSaengYunBoon)
haha, (well it wasn't quite of ChunSaengYunBoon, just Love Letter...) but that used to be my ultimate favorite show!!! That show aired back when SeungKi hadn't even debuted yet, so I guess it was a nice chance of him to be "on" it... hahah
and plus I was glad he picked the first girl. She seemed a lot more friendly and kind. Also, the other one was (in my opinion) more attractive so it didn't seem like our boy was just going for the "prettier" one

Hi ivey79: Yup, my favorite look is the wet sexy ones too. This past episode was one of those feel-good-get-to-know-the-guys kinda thingy. Watching it reminds me of the earlier episodes of “Friends” or “Seinfeld”. You know like there’s actually not a lot of plot but just great interactions among the cast. No real point but to watch them being themselves is good enough. I like that they have been playing a lot of LSG songs. Psst, just so you know. I’m secretly hoping that LSG has auditioned for KBS Hana Yori Dango. I’d go wild if it happens. It would never happen, would it?

glitzyglam: Thanks for the pics. 1N2D is special because it’s more about journey and less about the destination. It’s unintended educational; somehow not heavy-handed in its delivery. When you think it’s about to become dramatic, someone will break the moment with some crazy ridiculous funny comment or stunt. I think we've also developed a bond with the cast like they have among themselves. We've come to appreciate them separately as individuals as well as a group. I’m glad you’re almost caught up with us. Ahh, Love Letter is classic …. Miss it.

The first time I remember they stopped near LSG's house to let him go get some stuff and food, and that's when the bunch of kids came over to MCM, KHD and EJW and they had some fun. I remember thinking about how nice it would have been if they had gone to his house (because they went to mong's house after that). And this time, its another case of so near yet so far I'm fascinated by people's houses. I think the house speaks volumes about a person, much more than you can learn from talking to the person alone. Hey all!~ Guess everyone should be busy watching the Olympics now, its so quiet in here. Just throwing out a question, should I continue posting the translations here? Its getting very long, and I was thinking maybe I shouldn't clutter the place up here. Just visited the 1N2D thread, is it stopping for a week or two? Man, no music activities, and no 1N2D. Will have to go back to watching older clips I guess, hahaha.

Actually, the Japanese version ruined the image of Doumyoji for me, he was supposed to be a bratty, charismatic, TALL hunk But the drama as a whole was really good. Well, if the boy decides to audition, at least we know he already has the tall and charismatic part down. As for bratty, somehow there's this scene in 1N2D that flashes in my mind when i think of it. When they were throwing the leaves on the table and they asked him to act like a mean kid. LOL. That was classic.

Just to share with you guys something I found really amusing over the weekend. I have a friend I met in korean class, and her cousin went to Taiwan to participate in this really major singing competition there. I didn't follow the competition since singing competitions aren't really my kind of thing, so I had no idea what was going on, until yesterday when I popped by leeseunggi.ifensi, and there was this person who posted a video of the guy singing one of the songs from LSG's new remake album with a really established taiwanese singer. Only thing is, the song was in chinese. LOL. I didn't even realise the song was remade into chinese! The feel is really different though. And its one of my favourite songs on his remake!~ It was the first track on his album that I hit the repeat button for while listening to it for the first time. Its unfair to compare the three performances since they each have their merits, but for me, I prefer LSG's rendition, even though I think the chinese remake is really good too (my aunt is like a HUGE fan of the guy). I like the gentleness LSG maintained in the song, while delivering the emotion. Very balanced delivery

I'm not going off to the army, but I just felt for him and related to him so much. I cried when KHD gave him the piggyback ride, and wished that I too got a piggyback ride from KHD

eequeezee Hi! Must be nice having family you haven't seen for some time around! Yea, my friend's cousin is a decent singer. He got to the top 8, but was eliminated just last week I think. Not bad, considering that my cousin says he hasn't got much formal vocal training. The competition is really strong, a lot of the taiwanese contestants are really strong vocalists. I was impressed by the young man too. I don't see many 20 year old guys around me thinking about their future, they're just all whining about army. KHD is such a fatherly figure. He oozes paternal instinct!

This week's 1N2D is really quite self explanatory, SOCCER!! (can anyone see I'm really really excited?) KimC played really well, and so did Seung Gi. I love their footwork, pretty nifty for non-pros. The girls, WOW. They are good. A couple of them on the team are really funny, especially the girl who was sort of 'arguing' with KHD at the start. And EJW, I'm surprised. He didn't strike me as the non-sporty kind at first, and i was quite surprised to find out in the marathon ep that he's not really all that fit. And this time, he's really bad at soccer, but his hip hop roots saved him and made him quite good with the heading, LOL. He just wasn't doing anything on the field, and it was HILARIOUS. LSG though, looked like he was really working it, so seriously having fun! I laughed so much during this episode, the commentators were really cute. I'm going to watch it again and come back tomorrow with some stuff on it. Have fun, guys!

Oh yeah, like sarangaia said, there’s one new YT upload. Seunggi performing White Lie on MBC-R. This one is notable for the fact that you don’t hear the accompanied music track. It’s nice to sit back and just hear the vocal not being masked by the music. It may not be one of his greatest live singing. I just happened to like its raw simple feel. And his T-shirt.

Hello all!! It's been a while since I've been here, but it's so nice to know you guys haven't forgotten about me (thanks for the shoutout Sarangaia, bedfferent =) Been busy and not feeling well, so haven't really gotten the gusto to post. But there's been so much since I've last been here! Makes me happy to know the forum is alive and well.

Sarangaia, thanks for the latest set of subs. Absolutely loved the bickering between Mong and LSG. They hare hilarrious. Just a perfect comedic combo, but interesting enough I think they make a really good team overall even when it's not about comedy. Thumbs up to them on the rafting competition and Q&A. And I must say your friend's cousin is a pretty good singer too! I watched that competition when Yoga Lin was on and I found a lot of the contestants were actually really decent singers. It was rather interesting to compare the three different versions. Although I thought Seung Gi's version was the best (most emotional), the Chinese version was excellent too. He's a rather talented musician and I've always admired his voice. It's very angelic and no matter what he sounds he always sounds grreat.

o51029 and bedifferent, thanks for the radio performances and pics. Every once in a while I need a good dose of 2006 Seung Gi to remind me of what he's really capable of and why I like him in the first place. Bedifferent, this last post you did had me fooled. I didn't look at the date and so I thought it was a recent performance, and when I saw the hair I was like, "oh my gosh bedifferent is going to loooove this!". Heehee, thennn I looked at the date and was like 'Oh, it's 2007'. LOL. His voice sounded different too than what he's been doing recently so I should've known better. It was interesting to hear him in pseudo acapella. Really interesting actually cause I almost felt like I was doing some sort of voyuerism on his voice. Like I was listening to something I wasn't suppose to or rather how I was suppose to. I enjoyed it immensely. You could hear all the breathing breaks, the imperfections. I wish I could hear him sing without music more often with this type of fullness and power. He use to do this on Xman and Loveletter, but too bad not anymore.

Oh by the way, bedifferent, you picked an excellent field. I haven't regretted it once. I thank the lord everyday he led me on this path so I hope it works out for you too. At the very least you will have great job security, you should have absolutely NO probs finding a job =) You'll be working very hard, but don't forget to play hard too =)

Eeequezee, I'm really really looking forward to ep 44! Hope all is going well on your end and I know school is around the corner, but it really sounds like you've had a really great one. Only think of the best and forget the rest ok?!

Saw the latest ep of 1n2d too. I was sooo happy they aired it! I was feeling a little down cause my HK drama didn't air on Friday cause of the Olympics and then I thought 1n2d and We got Married weren't going to air on Sunday either. But lo and behold it did! Funny ep, although I really really wished I could understand the commentary. It just seemed so humorious. So proud of Seung Gi for finally making those two goals. Really deserved them for trying so hard. And yes Sarangaia, I loved the wet wet wet look! LOL.

Alright, I'm off to work again. Got a little break before I had to head out again. Hello to everyone out there! Sunlight, Top_seungri, dindunz, glitzyglam, and anyone else I may have missed. Oh and Vanny if your reading too, I look forward to your resurection. I'm still very very bitter towards SBS, TVB, and all those other stations that cracked down like that. ^^ I know! I was all set for a non-1n2d weekend but was pleasantly surprised. I know there are pictures of the 1n2d crew at a gymnasium. So can we expect another show next week? I hope so!

bedifferent, thanks for the video. That was interesting. I almost didn't recognize him with the short hair (it's been so long!) He still sings well. I would love him to sing a cappella sometime. I know he's sung bits and pieces here and there on variety shows, but would like to hear him sing an entire song on stage, without that awkward pause in the middle for the instrumental part.

As for megavideo, it's pretty good for what it is. I didn't notice the ads until I logged out of my account. Yeah, that's annoying. And you have no choice but to click it too. But other than the beginning, I find it less intrusive than veoh's. I haven't tried uploading a non-flv file, so I can't say how fast or slow the encoding is, but the uploading is verry slow, even with a premium membership I just leave it on in the background. And don't download their download manager because I heard there were problems with it. The good thing (for me) is the privacy setting that doesn't limit you to a few people like youtube and it's non-searchable (less likely for it to be reported). Haven't used the search function much other than to test the privacy option, so I can't say much about that either. So far so good though. One downer is that I could not find any support or faq page which I think sucks.

Twice in one day!
So the latest 1N2D is a soccer match again? I get the impression from here and 1N2D that it was fun. I'm a little bit concerned because I felt like the last couple episodes haven't felt COMPLETE (for a lack of a better word):
The marathon episode pretty much ended after LSG won the race. Then the last third of the episode was selecting the couples and KHD getting frustrated with having to break in a new PD and new writer. This part really should have been the beginning of the episode I just watched...
Everything that the couples did was really fun, but then they have the river raft race where they have to grab all those flags (which represented different food items like rice, kimchi, etc.). We should have seen them cooking and stuff... Also, after the canoe race, they had this long quiz - what was it for? There should have been a prize or something...

Bee-unnee - 21+ pages??? What document are you using? Wow it was that long huh? Can't wait to watch it with the subs myself. You won't mess it up at all - you're super duper!

I have two aunts, 1 uncle, 5 cousins (they're all A LOT older than me), and 2 preteens staying with us. That's a lot of people!!! But my mom is having a great time, and I am too. They didn't bring presents, but they keep wanting to buy me stuff whenever we go out. I keep telling them that in lieu of gifts, I just want them to somehow guarantee a date with LSG when I go to Korea next Summer hehe. I don't know why they think I'm not serious when I say that!

Hi eequeezee. This latest episode was fun for what it was. I think I prefer actual trips for its unpredictableness. But really anytime these guys get together is fun and funny

I have a feeling that the past episodes' "incompleteness" was because planning was poor or rushed. I wonder if they forgot about the olympics until a month or two ago so they had to squeeze in two trips into 3 episodes.

Another radio guesting! This one seemed fun. It was more like a group of friends chatting to me. Granted I have no idea what they were talking about but they seemed like they were having fun and joking around. The video starts lagging behind the audio though.

eequeezee, the last 3 weeks or so, editing was quite sloppy. I don't know if it's because of the change in PD or what ... but the direction of the show is shifting. Just to warn you. I'm sure you'll sense it watching them. Less coherent on the themes. More mish-mash of ideas. Things are not gelling for the new guy yet. I hope things improve. Also, hanging around doing nothing is ok for a bit but sooner or later, you gotta to have something concrete to hold viewers. I guess it's the case of living up to your success. It is quite hard to follow the Baekdu trip.
