Hi everyone~~~

I've been under the weather for the past days, and had trouble sleeping last night. I wanted to watch the 1N2D episodes when they went to Dokdo, but the color on our TV got all funky so I couldn't watch them. I thought about going on YT but had forgotten about Heather's channel getting yanked. Then today there's the news of LSGeun smoking. WOW someone is OBSERVANT!!! I really have to check and see how long that shot of the cigarette is - but alas, I have to wait for the new TV to get here!

Are those pics of LSG in the bad vest and what not recent pics? I don't know about his clothes, but I am blah about hi hair. It's long and wavy like it was during his first remake days. Yucky!

Hey all! Thanks juliapenn & Sarangaia for the HQ pics (how did you know I needed those again cause I lost my old ones?) LOL, his clothes. It does look like some random person's closet got raided huh? And a someone in their 50's or 60's too. The vest is ill fitting, but I was looking at the pants too. It kinda feels like his hips are shrinking these days. Whenever he wears slacks these days they always seem too big and baggy and his belt is keeping them up. I was too distracted by clothes to even notice his hair. I agree with Eeequeezee, haircut needed! Don't like his outfit for the other performance either. Gray sweater over plaid...kinda old looking? Ah well... hope for the better next time. Wonder if he's dressing himself or a stylist? He makes so many of these little appearances he must dress himself from time to time too.

Ok, enough ranting about the clothes. His smile is still looks great, even at such an unusually close up shot. I guess that's what really counts.

I can feel myself getting better, and am resting. I'm aiming to return to school Monday... So glad to hear that the clip was not a big task. I wish there were more clips like that because clips like the one that went up (and the clip at the end of ep. 44) really highlight the specialness of 1N2D. Must go back and check the other episodes...

That 1N2D/MuhanDojun clip is hilarious. Maybe the person behind the clip wouldn't be so bitter if MD ever broke the 30% barrier in ratings. Or maybe FORTY PERCENT! Haha. Seriously though, I don't know why people can't enjoy both shows - they're both a lot of fun (and DIFFERENT!).

What's funny is that that particular episode(s) of MuhanDojun received A LOT of complaints from netizens (even more so than this 1N2D baseball snafu) because they were disturbing the peace at the airport or train depot (whatever it was). I remember specifically reading about people who were on the train that Jung JunHa was riding in complained about the noise they made throughout the train ride and what not. Also, I wonder if the MBC broadcaster saw the episode where Park MyungSu and the guys interrupted the baseball game a few months back (totally forgot about that!).

According to my cousin in Korea, MBC is known to fan the flames (like the baseball announcer did). Recently, the producers of MBC News had to make a formal apology for fabricating horror stories about the meat that was to be imported from the states. Also recently, producers of several MBC variety programs were found to have received bribes from artist management companies to bring on their artists on their shows, give them more camera time, etc. What does this have to with anything? Nothing really HAHA! I'm stirring the pot myself here. Boo me. Boo!

Random musing: Looking at the pictures of him at the smaller performances this week, I realise almost all of them have bubbles floating around, like soap bubbles. LOL. I'm kind of more used to dry ice being used at performances as opposed to soap bubbles. For some reason soap bubbles crack me up. Ok. I'm going off topic. Sure sign that I have to hit the books again!

I love lee seung gi's voice! I have some of his MVs and they make my cry or smile every time I watch them. He is truly talented and he just seems like a really nice person.

Just poppin in to see what everyone is up to here and it looks like we're slowly moving past the baseball incident (btw interesting video Bedifferent with the comparison betwen IC Too much time people, too much time to be wasting your life creating something like this) and back onto just Seung Gi with the latest vids, pics, and in particular his hair? DuGi thanks for posting those old pics to remind us how close he is getting to going back to the curly, not really that great, hair days. I thought the current trend was to go for short hair, but hey our fashion pop star may want to go against the trends and try something diferent. I don't really mind a bit of wave, but please dont' go back to full on curl and perm. On the plus side, love the outfit with short plad jacket, grey shirt and dark denim. Simple and stylish with the short length of the jacket and it even seemd to match well with his hair. I also liked the purple and great sweater too cause the grey pants actually look like they fit! Thanks juliapenn & Sarangaia. I too think he looks darker. After almost a year on this show I think it's effects are finally starting to show on his skin. Poor boy, the whitening cream just can't compete with nature. Can't help but also smile after watching the clip of the Marc Jacobs fashion show. Remember thinking when I first saw his pics at the show I found his jeans to be really awful, but the designer said Seung Gi was the best? Not sure if I liked it or not. At the very least I liked that everything actually fit! The color and texture of the jacket looked more like winter than early fall, but the pants were nice and snug and a cute pattern. And the hair... I have to agree with Sarangaia on this one. Haircut please, Sang Geun... oops, Seung Gi. The dreaded perm is back. So if the cycle repeats itself, can I expect a short spiky do like...soon, like in the next month or so? One thing I do like are the jeans. Yay, he's wearing more of them. And they are of good cut and nice wash. Hope that he banned those stone-wash baggy torn ones for good. **shudder** I actually also am fond of the preppy look that he has on lately. The professor slash mister Rogers brown tweed jacket like the above is taking things a bit too far. There's a recent performance in which he wears a pink dress shirt/striped sweater/jeans with a jacket - he was quite adorable. Well, at least, until you look up, past the neck and saw that mass of hair. Sigh. I actually find the combination of gray pants/purple striped sweater kinda cute. Yes, you can tell, I'm learning to live with the stripes. It could be me but he sounds quite solid these days in most of the perfs (well, at least from the fan vids). I've watched this week's episode. Won't have the time to translate everything, my apologies. Exams are really bogging me down. Just going to do a simple recap and translations of funnier parts. I don't want to fan the whole baseball incident any further (I've had quite enough of the whole issue), but as a note, I think the 1N2D team has managed to convey their side of the story to us quite effectively. Given the circumstances, I think it would be hard to pinpoint any one party to be at fault for the whole brouhaha that broke out. A crowd is always hard to please, what's more with a huge crowd hyped up about a sport. A lot of people had fun, some people were unhappy that things weren't going so well, different tv stations chose to portray different sides to the issue... we'll just have to accept that things are always a mixed basket of blessings. So let's just have fun watching the episode! 1박~~2일~~~!!

This week, the guys arrive in Busan, and they introduce us to some of the things Busan is famed for, such as Haeundae, Guanganri and movies, and KHD starts talking a little about (what else?) food. They then move on to the itinerary for the day, the Busan package that has been prepared for them. They will get the cheapest accomodation, which is a homestay at SongJeong at 8,000 won a head (apparently its the price of 2 bowls of Jajjangmyeon). KHD explains the low price is due to this period being the slack season, so prices have been driven so low. They also get concession passes for the subway, which costs 3,500 won for a whole day, where they get unlimited rides on the subway. LSG calculates that with accommodation and transport accounted for, the trip would cost 11,500 won. Their guide for the day will be the youngest PD (er, the one who got pranked by KHD), who was born in Busan.
EJW: You were born in Busan? I thought you were born in Japan...
LOL. Ok, so they think the PD looks Japanese. Next they go on to the highlight of the day which (we all already know) is the baseball game. They will spend 7,000 won on a general admission seat. The match for the day is Lotte vs Doosan, and EJW muses about how a Doosan fan wouldn't be able to go with them (since I think they are supposed to be rooting for the Lotte team). Kim C is startled at what EJW says, and mistakes EJW for a Doosan fan, to which he asks KHD what to do about EJW.
KimC: He's a Doosan fan.
EJW: Its LOTTE! Why are you like this?
KimC: But you were talking about the Doosan team!
The two of them start squabbling.
KimC: Look, you keep wearing the Doosan cap..
EJW: I WORE THE LOTTE ONE WHEN WE WENT BAEKDUSAN!
Interesting thing to note here is that when the camera shifts to LSGuen here, you can see his cap clearly, and on the cap its written 돼지. Which means pig. LOL! They move on to look at what they'll be doing for the next day and everyone groans, because they have to take a boat again. What's even worse is that the time for them to wake up has been set at 4am! PD then tells them that they get 10,000 won as travelling allowance today (WOW! What's up with the sudden generosity?) The PD explains that this is to allow them to choose whether they want to take the taxi, bus or subway. Its decided that they should split into teams of 3 each, so LSG, LSGuen, EJW take the bus while KHD, KimC, MCM take the subway.

LSG, LSGuen, EJW meet someone (i think he's a driver) on the way to take their double decker bus. The guy tells them he's just watched them on TV the day before.
LSGuen: You don't know all our names right?
Guy: You're Lee Su Guen. (looks at EJW and LSG, whose names he obviously doesn't remember) There are 6 of you...
LSGuen: Yea, there's KHD and MCM.
Guy: (points to EJW) But he's not KHD!
Funny. Meanwhile KHD, KimC, MCM take the subway, where they are greeted by excited young people. Their reaction was really funny "WOW! KANG HO DONG!" But then again its probably not everyday you see a celeb on the subway. KHD takes a seat with the ajummas and asks one of them to introduce what's she's proud of in Busan. She tells us the place is fun, there's good food, beautiful beaches and great people and invites everyone to come over for a visit. Meanwhile MCM makes his move on the younger people in the train. He asks the girl if she watches 1N2D regularly. Girl says yes. He asks who she likes the most. She replies MCM. MCM is of course very happy and says she's a girl with feel (LOL). After which he comments "You should take a picture (of me)" and the girl happily whips out her phone to start snapping. Don't you just love cameraphones? I think they are the greatest invention of the century. I sure can't live without mine. Its phototime with MCM and they snap away. MCM even does a sel-ca (Koreans affectionately refer to taking self portraits as sel-ca) with the girl. Gosh, her expression was priceless.

On the double decker, the guys are excited because its the first time they are taking a bus like this.
LSGuen: Dae Ju yah (the youngest writer), why did you come here and not go with HoDong hyung?
DJ: I'm looking for new means of making a living too.. (LOL!!!!!!)
The guys proceed on to be amazed by the sun roof on the double decker bus. They are really comfortable, and EJW mentions how he cannot understand why KHD has given up such comfort to take the subway. The camera then brings us back to KHD and guys on the subway. KHD is talking to some girl about liking some attraction in Busan and she says "Yea, its totally the best" and as KHD is moving on to the next topic, she grabs his arm and goes "Oooh! I really like (you)!!" KHD turns back to look at her and she's embarrassed. Haha, talk about fangirling. The ajummas in the background then go on to say how KHD looks slimmer and better in person than on TV. KHD is obviously happy and starts bragging. Not only that, he gets the ajummas to tell everyone on national tv how its true that he looks really good in person.
MCM: Why are you forcing them!
Ajumma no 1: Everyone, KHD is really slim in real life.
Ajumma no 2: Really, when you see him on TV he looks plump, but when you see him in reality, he's a handsome man (actually what she says is closer to pretty boy), slim, a dandy boy!
Some other well dressed ajumma jumps in to confirm that KHD looks more handsome in real life, and KHD tells her that she looks really pretty now, but when she comes out on tv it would be a different matter. The well dressed ajumma goes on to say how she really likes the 6 members on 1N2D, and KHD goes over to give her a bear hug. MCM gets jealous and whines about how he wants a hug too and KimC pushes him down.

We get back to the LSG team. They're totally enjoying the view outside, and they reach the beach. At this time, KHD and people also reach Haeundae station and they get off the subway. LSG and people then wait for KHD and gang to reach the beach, and they hole up in a tiny corner while waiting. LSGuen notices a group of female students and asks them over. There's a lot of excited squealing going on of course, and the first student heads directly for (who else?) but our LSG. Girl says she feels an onset of goosebumps (actually she says something like she's getting the creeps, but in a positive way). The girls stand in a line amidst the guys, and one of them suddenly squeals "OHH!! PD!! WOW!!" and the three of them start screaming in unison. LSGuen and LSG chuckle at their reactions, while PD Yoo is really embarrassed. LSG mentions how it feels strange that even the PD is recognized these days, while LSGuen asks the girls on their opinions on which country they think PD Yoo looks like he's from. They answer "Japan!" Captions [No matter how popular he is, he still looks Japanese] I laughed myself silly when the girls went crazy over PD Yoo. Gosh, I love this show.

KHD and gang are still stuck at the subway, where they meet an old granny (KHD seems to have a soft spot for the elderly, especially elderly women). The granny goes up to KHD, and they start talking. KHD asks the granny if she's watched 1N2D, and she says she a fan. He asks her where they've been to for trips on the show and the granny gives a very confused answer, saying she doesn't really know (can't blame her, she's old!). She then tells KHD she's headed for the baseball match. Granny here is a total fan of baseball and the Lotte team too, and is going there on her own. When KHD asks her if she thinks Lotte will win, she says they will definitely win if she goes. KHD gets her to cheer for 1N2D, which is pretty funny, especially when she picks on her own pose, and feels that she's done the sign for 2 days wrongly. Cute granny. KHD tells her he'll see her in the baseball stadium later, to which she asks "But did only the two (MCM, KHD) of you come?"
KHD: No, KimC is here too.
Granny: There's the one (person) that I like the best...
KHD: Who? Who? What's his name?
Granny: I don't know his name.
KHD: Is it this person (MCM)?
Granny: I know this person, its not this person.
MCM: Its not this person too (KimC)?
Granny: Its not this person.
KHD: Its not this person? Then... Lee Seung Gi?
Granny: Lee Seung Gi? Ahhh, yea, Lee Seung Gi!
Ok. Turns out that granny loves LSG too.
KHD: Why do you like LSG?
Granny: I don't know... I just like LSG and KHD the best! Where did Lee Seung Gi go?
KHD: LSG is taking a bus now.
MCM gets jealous at the side, LOL. LSG is really popular On the beach, EJW is eating babingsoo, a kind of cold korean desert (its yummy!) and apparently gets a headache due to the coldness. MCM and KimC runs over to join the gang, while KHD gets his self esteem boosted asking the crowd some questions.
KHD: Everyone, when you look at KHD in realy life, is he fat or slim?
Crowd: SLIM!
KHD: Is he handsome in real life?
Crowd: HANDSOME!
KHD: Is my face big or small?
Crowd: SMALL!
KHD: Is Jang Dong Gun more handsome or me?
Crowd: JANG DONG GUN!
KHD then walks away. The boys have some fun on the beach, and they head back to their base camp to have some jajjangmyeon. LSG is late again in joining them for the meal because he went to wash up (as usual. His cleanliness is adorable). After the meal, they start preparing for their performance. First they have to decide on a song to use. They decide to use a new song instead of MuJuGeon, as well as think of new dance steps instead of simply copying the moves they've come up with previously on MuJoGeon. They get into a discussion about choice of songs and several options are considered. Funny moment when LSG suggests hand in hand (the 1988 Olympic theme song) and KHD shoots him a look like he's gone insane. Its finally decided that they should use Champion as their song, and KHD goes on to ask them which teams they support. LSG is for LG Twins, LSGuen Doosan Bears, KimC doesn't have a team he supports, EJW Doosan Bears, and MCM supports Doosan Bears also. They decide to split the teams as such (Doosan bears vs Lotte team) for their Bok Bul Bok games later, to decide on who sleeps outdoors and who wakes up early to take the boat. The cheering they come up with is hilarious, with the Doosan Bears team coming up with a growl as their cheer. They then start preparing for the performance seriously, coming up with dance moves. They manage to come up with something halfway decent, and off they head to the stadium for some baseball action.

At the stadium, they are awed by the sheer number of people of there bursting with enthusiasm for the game. The people are really funny, we have a couple of women yelling Seung Gi Yah, Mong ah the 1N2D style. One of the women go a step further and screams EUN CHO DING!! LOL. The granny KHD met earlier makes her reappearance, and goes up to grab LSG's hands She also goes to EJW, and says that they're all like her grandsons. But granny still likes LSG the best and gets him to sign on a baseball for her. From the looks of it, the audience were actually allowed to come pretty near the guys. Anyway, the guys just start watching all the pre game activities and they were really amused by the university performers, who were really into what they were doing. They start feeling a little threatened by the enthusiasm of the performances they've seen. The staff comes up to them and asks for 2 people to volunteer as ballboy and batboy. LSG jumps at the chance, and EJW asks to be batboy. So off the two of them go, with EJW dancing along the way.
VJ: Why on earth is EJW behaving like this?
LSG: Its the first time we're in a baseball stadium, that's why.
Meanwhile, the rest of the gang eat snacks at the stands while EJW and LSG get ready. LSG asks if anything big will happen if they make a mistake. The guy tells them the things they have to take note of because the players have to concentrate on their game.
LSG: Then can I get their signatures after the game?
EJW: OF COURSE! What's wrong with you.. Do you sign for people in the middle of singing your song?
LSG: No I don't. Hyung, your analogy is so appropriate.
Off they go outdoors, where they meet Kang Min Ho, one of the key players. The guy actually did a Dooly face when he greeted EJW, its so funny! The guy told them he watches 1N2D a lot too. They then sit on the benches with the mascot, and LSG asks the mascot if he's a guy or girl, to which he rolls up this pants as an answer after that, its mostly just the baseball game, and we also see LSG and EJW getting their 2 seconds of action as they run out onto the field. The VJ asks LSG about his feelings.
LSG: I'm so nervous, its really no joke! The umpire is really very scary!
EJW: Scary, scary!
LSG: Really, he's scary! For us its just a one off thing, but for them its really important, so I feel really nervous. (to the VJ) huh? This is a live program now? Us?
LOL. Huh-dang moment AGAIN. The crowd then starts chanting for MCM, and their images are projected onto the screen.
LSG: Is that our 1N2D members there? Our members?
The break soon approaches and our members get up to get ready. LSG and EJW return indoors, and one of the writers starts asking them questions.
Writer: Is it very tiring? You seem to have sweat a lot.
LSG: Ah, it was really nerve wrecking because of the teacher umpire (he called the umpire songsaengnim, which means teacher)
The members then gather and practice their dance again. From what the PD tells the guys, it seems he's contacted the PD in charge of the live screening of the baseball match for the necessary arrangements, so its not like they went in there totally spur of moment. Anyway, out they went into the field and the crowd went wild. Things weren't too hot for the 1N2D team though. First, the music didn't start on time. Fortunately, the music finally started and the boys sprung into action. But. But. But. The song that was played was the wrong one. The guys were also supposed to do a rap, but their voices got completely drowned out by the crowd. The guys had no choice but to continue anyway. EJW did his hiphop routine. Boy, I'm so used to his Eun Cho Ding image that I've completely forgotten that the guy is quite decent when it comes to dancing. LSGuen does his usual funny dance, and KimC comes out with a dance that made the Lotte team go OMG! Haha. MCM did something slightly similar to his Circus dance, while LSG did his bounce+ballerina act. KHD also churned out a hilarious dance, and that's supposed to be the end. KHD says a few words of thanks to the crowd and they are supposed to go off. But at this moment, the crowd starts chanting something. Yes, they started chanting MuJoGeon. And the chants just got louder and louder. It was so loud that I couldn't even hear what KHD was trying to say in response to that in the video. Everyone in the team is shocked when they hear the loud chanting, and even KHD looks at a loss as to what to do. They can't really remember the dance steps, and the pressure from the crowd is just insane. The entire crowd just starts singing the song, and the members decide to just go with the flow and join in. Seeing that, I don't see how they can be blamed for performing the song (which supposedly was another rival team's song) when the crowd themselves were pushing for it. But poor KimC. He looked totally lost. Its quite unfair to him, seeing that he wasn't there for the competition back then and really probably doesn't know the dance steps. Suddenly the song starts playing, and the crowd goes wild again, with the guys doing their bit and dancing. With that, the guys run off the field with the crowd cheering loudly. When the guys reach indoors, they're just amazed by what has happened. LSG and LSGuen keep saying that the crowd was just amazing and their minds were really in a blank, and LSGuen mentioned how even KHD was at a loss, when he usually would be in control. The guys end with their heartfelt thanks, and that's it for this week!

Juliapenn, that's a performance on 081001 at Hye Jeon University (혜전대학). Can't say I like that outfit. The outfit looks weird to me, but I just can't put a finger to why, LOL.

Bad outfit. Bad outfit. BAD outfit. What was his stylist thinking?? Inner vest is nice. Jacket is fine. The tie.. I don't really like the print but the colour is nice. The striped shirt is just normal and the beige pants are nothing to rave about. But put all these together. What you get is a disaster. Too many things going on at the same time with too many colours. I hate to be critical, but I really don't like the general feel of this outfit. From chest up it looks ok, but when you see the whole thing together with the pants and the brown belt peeking out. I went O.o. I'm even willing to overlook the hair, which I think is much better than what we've been seeing for the past week. Seems like his stylist is in love with the tie, its been appearing a lot these days. Anyone noticed that his eyebags are getting bigger and bigger? I hope he gets plenty of rest, his eyebags are almost as big as his eyes now! But his skin still somehow looks amazing. Amazingly glow-y. He needs to share his skincare regime secret and benefit people out there, hahaha!
