Seung Gi is finally on his way to Japan. No wonder his Japanese is quite good as he can communicate quite well with the Japanese tourists in 1D2N. I'm really happy for him!!!!:)

I agree with most people that the show didnt really make the most of his alone time, but then again it wasn't planned and there was only the 3 of them filming and just trying to figure out what the heck they were going to do.

I am re-organising my downloads of Seung Gi clips, and it’s taking forever. Still, couldn’t help but stop to rewatch every single clip. Was rewatching his MVs last night, and our boy can really act! He was 17? in his “You are my Girl” MV, and still had those chubby cheeks, but his acting was already very solid.

I keep changing my mind as to what I wish for Seung Gi. Do I want him to be a pure musician? That will be such a big waste of his acting talent. Do I want him to pursue both, equally rigorously? Somehow don’t think that doing both will be in the interest of either. Are there any artists who are doing both and equally successfully? The news of his debut-ing in the Japanese market sets me thinking again.

What do you think?

Event Lee Seung Gi's birthday

As you know, there is about 2 months till his birthday, Jan. 13. have you realized that till next year, it’s been 5 years since the day he debuted in 2004? So I want something special for him as a birthday present. Of course each of us can send anything you want for his birthday. But here I think it would be more meaning if we can do something together and send it to him. Dugi, Sunlight and I had a talk. And what do you think,
1. if we send Seung Gi the videos that we sing happy birthday and say best wishes to him?

What am I talking about? I know questions from you guys are coming.


WHY we have to do it?

First of all, all of us want some birthday present for him, of course. Second, I’m not sure, but I think Seung Gi is just aware that he has fans in Korea and China [the Chinese are lucky. I remember when he was being told he had Chinese fans, he was surprised and said to her to send his appreciation to them]. It’s possible Seung Gi is aware of his overseas fans like us, but I’m sure he can’t know where we’re from and how we love him. Here I’m not trying to say we do this to let him know who we are. Because we all know it’s hard for a singer to come to the countries just for he thinks his fans are there.

But I as well as you, all want him to know the support we always give him, it’s not only his country Korea, but it comes from many places around the world. When you know there are some people always love you, support you, follow every your foot step in career, hope all the best things for you in life, will you feel happy? I’m sure you do. And if it gives him a faith, an encouragement to live and work well, will he want to know how are those people, where are they from? I’m sure he does.

And third, I always hope the overseas fans as us can do something together for a beautiful thing, for a nice person we all love. I really want something united between us.Yes, comparing to others, we are not many, we don’t have a large number of people, we can’t gather together to come and see him every day, every night, but I think it doesn’t matter. What matters is we all look one way, think of one person, and give one corner of our heart for Lee Seung Gi.


WHAT we are going to do?

Our video includes 2 parts.

Part 1:

In each country, we will gather all of his fans we know as a group. Together, we will sing happy birthday song for him and say to him the best wishes [no bday cake is okay, but better with it, right?]. You can do anything, you can say any wish, there are no pattern or rules for a sentimental work like this. It’s up to you guys at all. The cruciality for it is thinking about him while doing it and do it with all your heart because, girls, maybe Seung Gi will watch it and look at you.

There is no limit to the number of the videos, in the other words, no limit to the countries and the number of people in the videos, as many as good. Here is the list of the people joining this project up to now

- Indonesia: dindunz
- Mongol: Dugi
- Vietnam: Sunlight, Vanny

I do hope the it will be added more. Tell me if you want to be on the list^^


Part 2:

If you think it’s necessary, there will be a video enclosing with our videos. Okay, I have some problems with content. What this video is going to mean? What quotes will be inserted?

Right now I have got 2 ideas. One, it’s going to be a collection of his pictures from his debuted time up to now, to mark his growing up during 5 years of his career. Two, like a story, not about Seung Gi, but it’s about us, his fans. Such as how we get into him, how we love him, how we’re obsessive about him, etc… For this, I think it’s rather hard to do, though I think it also has meaning. But no matter what, the deciding factor is quotes. Good quotes make good story line. So we want to know your opinions. Do you have any good idea? Please share with us.


HOW to send it to him?

After finishing, we will write it to a DVD and send to Korea. Unfortunately, I don’t have a DVD burner and I’ve not known how to make files can be played by DVD player. Morever, to be honest, I can’t give all of my faith to the postal service in my country, very expensive but no guarantee. I got problem with it twice, my packages never reach my hands though my money was gone. So I really hope someone can take this work. After finish making the video, I will upload it and send it to that person, who makes the DVD and send it to Korea. This is the job of primary importance, can someone accept this mission? Please give us one hand.


WHERE we will send?

Right now, we have 3 addresses. Dugi have the one of HOOK Entertainment’s postal mailbox from someone at his official site. I have got the one of HOOK’s office, and one of Seung Gi’s mailbox from my Korean friend [she didn’t say what type of that address, but I don’t think it’s the address of his private house, postal mailbox instead. But she say if I want to send something to him, just use this address]. So which address we should pick? We want to know your opinion.


WHEN does the deadline come?

I hope you guys can complete and send it to me before 2008.12.20. It takes time to send it to Korea, and I think we all hope it can get there before Seung Gi’s birthday.

You export the file to *avi format, or any common format, such as *wmv or *mpg and good quality please You can upload it on megaupload and send me the link via my email: vannyle87@hotmail.com, because I’m the one making this video. [Or if somebody wants to take this work, just say your opinion here and we will discuss]. And please don’t forget to tell me, what country you’re from ^^

After watching it, even though you’re not the one, but you still think its great and it really moves your heart? Then believe me, Seung Gi will feel the same as he watches ours. How do you feel if you know he watches you with his teary eyes? If you want to touch his heart, why you don’t do it with us?

2.So from all I’ve seen, some of you are shy in front of camera. Well, I didn’t think about it… I just thought for myself, no matter how good or bad we look, we could overcome the selves to show him our love. But now I understand it’s not that easy for all of us and maybe there are other complications that hard to mention. So, alright, no problem. If you don’t want to record yourself, just send me your audio messages [don’t forget to sing the birthday song] and your photos [again, is this okay? It should be better if you can take it with the bday cake^^]. And please remember to tell me your name and your country.


One more thing for our project, a booklet.
Up to now, there hasn’t anyone suggesting taking the work of burning DVD and sending it yet. And I’m afraid there’s nobody... Time doesn’t wait us, so I think I’m going to be the one. Because a friend from Korea of Sunlight’s sister can help us. Fortunately, we don’t have to use postal service, as I said once I can’t trust it them at all >”<

So I want one more gift for this project. How about a booklet, everyone? With it, we can have many more of birthday messages for him if you’re unable to make the video or audio messages ^^

P.S:
a little suggestion for the song. it would be better if you can replace the line "happy birthday, happy birthday" with "happy birthday to Seung gi", "happy birthday, Lee Seung Gi", or "happy birthday, dear Seung gi", etc.. okay, anything you want that you think it suits you sense ^^

3.if you want to write him a letter, after writing please do a scan of your letter and send me, I’ll print it so that he can see your handwriting and things. And please remember to limit it within a page of A4. =]
Two weeks till the deadline, but there’s been only 3 people. Well I don’t think it’s the number could make me feel optimistic… we can’t do this project if the number of participants is too few. So it really depends on of all of you, everyone! If you’re hesitant and don’t have any excitement to join us, because you’re afraid it’s not credible, this project can’t be successful, all these things can’t reach his hands. I’ll tell you I’ll not do something that I can’t make sure it’s possible. I’ve really found the way to manage. So please put the faith in what we’re gonna do.
