Lee Seung Gi Graduates

On the day where he received his degree and became an university graduate, singer Lee Seung Gi (22) also took the chance to reveal to the media his plans for the year.

The graduation ceremony to award students with their degrees took place this morning at 11am at the main hall of Dongguk University. After the conclusion of the ceremony, Lee Seung Gi revealed to the waiting media, "I will soon be appearing in a drama."

The words straight from Seung Gi's mouth has more or less confirmed that he is indeed taking on the leading role for SBS weekend drama Life is Beautiful, starring opposite actress Han Hyo Joo. The premiere will be on 18th April and is the follow-up drama to Family's Honor. This will be his comeback drama in 3 years after his last drama, Famous Princesses in 2006. Seung Gi also has plans to release an album this year and hopes that fans will continue to support him. No mention was made about his variety show 1 Night 2 Days so it's likely that he will continue to remain on the show while filming his drama.

Lee Seung Gi had enrolled in 2005 in Dongguk University, majoring in International Trade and Commerce. Unlike other celebrity stars, he took the normal path of graduating in 4 years, handling both his entertainment career and studies simulataneously and without suspending his studies even once. Seung Gi was also awarded the excellence PR award on this day.

i think he decide a weekend drama instead of the high profile drama. Maybe the script is more nicer in the HYJ's drama. I really ca't wait to watch the chemistry between those 2. I know that LSG is definetely an awesome actor, he already prove it in his MV. I can't wait to watch his new drama. Hoepfully bimbibap will decide to sub this drama or else i won't be able to understand anything at all.

Congratulation to LSG for graduating from uni. I'm so proud of him. It seriously gave me a boost to wrk even harder in my final year.

I now know the reason behind this 'hidden meaning' on the scandal video...
well first of all, i'm sorry i should have used a less-stronger term for this... i just can't think of the right word at that time... but i think instead of hidden meaning (that connotates some sort of negativity), i should have just used WORD PLAY w/c is really what they were doing on the video.. playing with the words.

Anyway, going back, watching the final CF, they are promoting the beer's color (compared to the pale-colored counterparts) so the word 'saek' has been used widely.

The CF goes like this:
LSG: Noona, your color is too weak/pale.
KSA: What color do you want?
LSG: quite a different color at first sight (i dunno how to explain this... hahaha) Like MAX!
KSA: Like this one? Delicious
LSG: Max

i get upset too and there are certain issues about Sun Ah that i'm sensitive to as well.
oh why would i delete your comment? i think it's just fine. our discussions there will also help those who can't understand the video.
i'm just too lazy to go through the trouble of changing the subs to word play instead of hidden meaning. (argh! my korean is so crappy that i can't think of the most accurate english equivalent).

and as i've mentioned there, it's not just you. even korean LSG fans were not amused about that video.

Hey. I have no time to translate the stuff now, very behind in school work because of 1N2D. But you DO realise that the message on the cafe wasn't written by LSG right? Only the note was signed by him. I went back to read the note and checked, the note on the fancafe was written by one of the people who helped in getting the package across, and it was just to tell you guys the package got through and the boy was happy receiving it, as well as t thank you guys. The note in the picture they uploaded though, was really signed by LSG, and I think he wrote to the Vietnam fans on the top.
