B unnie: agreed. I think he made the right choice on this one. For me, I wasn't so impressed by the first couple of episodes, and Seung Gi didn't appear much anyway. But I think because I'm currently translating the drama, I'm watching it in much more detail, and there's actually pretty good directing in some of the scenes, good use of props and camera techniques. I'll post my thoughts on those in the BL thread later. But I'm with you on one issue, and that is that the 4 main leads are holding up the drama more than anything else.
The thing that bothers me about LSG's character is that there doesn't seem to be much of a smooth transition from total bratty boy to bratty but soft on the inside, and the character doesn't seem to have much depth as of yet. Sort of an unbelievable character to me. But that seems more like a script problem than a problem with the guy's acting chops. I like the way he uses his eyes to convey the softer side of the character. Not only that, but he does humour well too! Look at the scene where he stumbles and stutters seeing ES all dolled up and returns to his bedroom musing to himself "Did she always look like that?" That is one of my favourite LSG scenes as of yet in the drama. Not much happening, but he gets the humour across really well and makes you grin at it. He's a natural with his body language, but I wish they'd give us more long shots to give him a chance to utilise it more, especially in the comical scenes. Seems like to me there are more close ups of his facial expressions than long shots, which isn't all too bad either

The more I watch the drama, the more I forget he's Lee Seung Gi, and I think that's a sign that he's developing the Hwan character really well. But there are moments, like when he sang in the noarebang (great rendition btw!!!) where its jarringly apparent that he's LSG the singer and not Hwan the fictional character, but hey, you've gotta give us some fanservice here and there right?
Anyway, I'm here to share an unpleasant experience with you regulars regarding LSG and facebook. Apparently, there was a certain
Melissa Tam who added me on facebook, and I was under the impression that she was from this thread on soompi, so I allowed for the add. However, she's recently spammed my wall and inbox with messages like these:

do you need help to pay?
i'll help you. whats your daum cafe account.
i'll help you to pay $20 to active the cafe..
if you dont pay, soon be kicking out..
Obviously this alarmed me since I do NOT know this person and there she was asking me to SHARE my account password and details as well as PAY her for some unknown reason. I've since checked with my friends in Korea, and I thought it was important for me to share that
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY TO STAY ON LEE SEUNG GI'S DAUM CAFE, you don't get kicked out/deactivated if you don't and
YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY TO JOIN AIREN. And you do need a Korean social security number to join Airen, by the way. They haven't gone international as of yet. Even IF you really do need to pay anything, you'd be better off paying DIRECTLY to the club itself, instead of through someone who is 'supposedly' going to Korea. I sent back a PM to this person, and she removed me off her friend list immediately. This reeks of a scam, and I reported her after she removed me. I thought I'd warn you guys here since you guys may use facebook and may join LSG's groups there. The person has a picture of LSG as her profile picture. The things you can meet with online.
Will be back to post pictures later. I've not been posting as much in the past few months or so, but I'm glad there's so much activity here still. I saw a request to translate his message on his cafe couple of pages back, is anyone still interested in it? If yes, I'll do it.
