MC Muffin
I used to listen to the radio, but now I either just listen to my friends radio or go onto the radio station's site and make my own compilations from there. While I listen to korean music and techno to make people go huh.gif (I love creating this irony when a mustang pulls up, only to have it blast Boa or something tongue.gif ), my hip hop/bay area music is usually being played in the background. So how about you guys? Hip hop, techno, asian...intial d?! tongue.gif Also how does what's coming through your speakers vary with different passengers? (I created this thread before soompi went down but oh well, time to make it again!)

I listen to mostly K-pop, so Hyori, Taebin, Se7en, etc.

I also love trashy dance songs, like Tokyo Ghetto Pussy, and to a lesser extent, the Bloodhound Gang.

Whatever cds are in my car really lol.
iheartmark
I like Backstreet Boys when driving. Something about their beat matches my feeling when I'm at a car.

it depends on the setting

if its late-night in the city, then ill play some real chill hiphop or house/acid jazz

but if its the middle of a beautiful day, then ill bump some good ole rock or somethin crunk
Aqui
For me... Lindsay lohan, Kelly Clarkson and Ashley are good to listen to when u drive. But actually I love to listen all songs that I can sing, it can wake me up.
epunx99
mostly punk. gets me giddy so that i wont feel sleepy
Aki
No radio whatsoever. American music and media these days suck.

I listen to J-Rock in my car. Or when I feel like it, Initial D.
The Stone Temple Pilot
The Engine - not a band, the actual thing that makes you go when the light turns green.

OR

My favorite driving music is:
1) Morning View - Incubus. Pop this CD in and you'll get a nice blend of different intruiguing sounds that will make you speed, or chill.

2) Appetite for Destruction - Guns N' Roses. With this one, you'll either be running from the cops, or you'll be singing about an old, sweet child o' yours.

3) But my recent favorite, Jack Johnson. Actually his first CD will make you look like one of the crowd when you pull up to Starbucks with all speakers blazin'. Do it for the attention you'll get, quite fun actually.
Stop Coming To My House
Ivy's Long Distance album is good driving music for a breezy afternoon.

BloodPrincessShiroto
J-Rock or Oldies

Those are the only things otherwise I drive in complete silence.
sarah is sleepy
It depends on my mood too but usually on the road I'm feeling lax, sooo it's usually something likewise. Iron and Wine lately, Tilly and the Wall, Team Sleep, Umbrellas. Spoon when I'm a little more upbeat.
If it's right after school usually something like Scarling, haha. tongue.gif Sometimes The Faint. Or whatever band I'm most into at the moment.
Wang Nun I
'Sweet Home Alabama' by Lynyrd Skynyrd is a great song for driving for sure! smile.gif
rapunzel283
Right now my favourite driving song is Ludacris' Move B*tch. laugh.gif
LolitaMan
Uplifting Trance all day baby!
mistapooh
Trance and breakbeat =/. I hate the sound of electric guitar for some reason. I can only listen to pop, hiphop/r&b, and electronica.
globosapien
something fast.

i can't drive listening to slow songs... i fall asleep at the wheel
tyro
probably chilling trance... like stuffy by andain... gabe and dresden
or hed kandi or house stuff, drum n bass, breaks during the day

harder trance comes on later at night.
jiwon
it depends. i've got a variety of genres in my car. but usually i'd pop in something upbeat to keep me awake.
IC_Bananas
whatever is on the radio.
baoi
anything.. kpop jpop rock.. whatever..
Just NOT country..

Driving music, Death Cab For Cutie - A Movie Script Ending (perfect for cruising down the highway at about noon smile.gif )

So many different things, depending on my mood. Usually it's hiphop/rap, preferably oldschool. Teenybopper pop when I want to sing my lungs out, jazz when I'm feeling mellow, random Korean here and there.
KiSS ME JUiCY
heres the order when im with my friends:

panic! at the disco - lying is the most fun...
aqua - barbie girl in spanish
adam and andrew - emo song
nsync - i want you back
black eyed peas - my humps
kingspade - spaded, jaded and faded
pretty ricky - grind on me
imogen heap - goodnight and go
pat benetar - heart breaker
hawthorne heights - ohio is for lovers

chaa. we are le lame. but thats usually our songs.. sadly, in that order as well..

thats the plan.

i don't drive yet, but the driver (either my older brother or cousin would be listening to rap/r&B/hiphop.i'm that girl sitting in the back, listening to her jrock music on her mp3.
if my dad were driving i'd hear khmer music and occasionally the christian talk show station.
