I did see them live...but taking pictures wasn't allowed...and I wasn't in the hall, when they made their entrance at the opening ceremony of the convention. *sighs* Tey are rumored to do a tour of five cities in summer...I hope it's true.

I know I'm lucky to be able to see so many bands here...and I really want to make the best of it. There are some bands that aren't that much of interest for me...but my concert-schedule for 2007 is packed already.

I must admit, I like Ruki's hair. Yep, the AnimagiC is europe's biggest anime convention, I went there four times now and I'm already in the middle of planning next years costumes. I have a list of about 30 cosplay-projects...but I think I wont take more than four with me when I go there.

I know, we germans are lucky that so many bands decided to come to germany...and from what I've heard they were all welcomed warmly and want to come back...well, most of them have been here more than once already.

Gazette live are a blast, they are awesome. Unfortunately it was incredibly hot in the concert hall and just before the encore, after Ruki held his speech I collapsed...the heat was too much for me. I came back in later and had a VERY good view of Uruha



*nods* Same here...I'm struggling to find a job, but it's SO hard...*sighs*



Lemme see...concert season starts in march with Moi Dix Mois. BAAL also said they'd be back in march, in may it's gonna be Dir en grey probably and maybe Mana again (if he plays at the WGT again) or maybe Közi (I would LOVE to see him perform live, I'm still sad that Eve of Destiny have disbanded), then Gazette in late july. There are more bands that said they'd come (or come back)...we're still waiting for confirmations...there are several rumors floating around about Nightmare, Miyavi, Hyde and Gackt all coming to Germany for concerts in 2007. And I hope Despa will be at the Wacken Open Air again.

And don't ask me how I'm gonna pay all that...

It's not confirmed yet...none of the concerts in 2007 is confirmed yet. But there's rumor that Gazette will come back to Germany for five concerts...and you bet I'll be there to see at least one of the shows!

I didn't understand all of what Ruki said...but he said some things in english and it was so goddamn cute! When the fangirls up front went toally crazy and the front barriers even BROKE, he came on stage practically BEGGING the people to behave and step back...otherwise the concert would have been discontinued.

I hope next year they're gonna behave better.

@amber: haha, wow. concerts mustve been very stuffy. were you near the front or middle? gosh, hearing ruki's english or japanese... i absolutely love his voice<333. i have school, so i cant get a job yet.. but i might get one during 07, ill probably work at my old tutoring program. haha, i wonder how your gonna pay for it... lucky. so many bands are going to germany.. i think bands should tour the US soon since there are many fans here, they just dont know that since they never come here. the bands/people i must see are miyavi, gazette and diru, who i cant see because my parents wont let in february :< and its in my city! dammit

I was lucky...I was behind the second barrier were people behaved much better. But I had a great view..and I remeber Uruha smiling and waving at us. And yeah...Ruki's voice is goddamn sexy.

The real problem was the heat. And it affected everybody...the band had to take a break because at one point Ruki collapsed...and then Kai collapsed behind his drumkit and had to be carried offstage some time later...

You know...it has just started that so many bands come here...like the last two years or so. And take Despa for example...they toured the US long before they came here. And if I don't find a job soon, I can forget about all those plans because I won't be able to pay all of it. *sighs* That's really a problem you know...if I'm lucky and can do interviews I get free tickets for the concerts (for me and my assistant), but I have to pay everything else...and travelling around Germany is really expensive, I can tell you.

Indeed it was. I have no idea how hot it was actually...but it wasn't only the heat but the ait was really humid because they threw buckets full of water into the crowd...and that was what had most people collaps.



*nods* I wish I had more CDs...I have alot of music on my PC...but downloading is not the same as having the real CD in your hand. I just checked...I have more than 6GB of music and 36GB of pictures and videos on my PC...

I'm glad that some bands release their stuff in Germany so I don't have to pay the enormous price of the japanese CDs...but stil...*sighs*

@amber: haha definitely have 6+GB of music in my harddrive, and a few GB of pictures.. but i dont really download videos...

they only sell diru cds here since theyre under an american label. but other bands like gazette, which i havent seen their cds yet, are usually sold at the japanese price (very expensive btw, for me atleast) at japanese music stores.

haha oh yes. i think i might get the live dvds first before the cds. heh. watching them is def more interesting then hearing the songs since can dl anyways. =)

its 85 USD for me, since im in the us and all. and its pretty darn expensive. but 3 dvds in one. so thats about 28 dollars per dvd.
gahh, i usuallly pay 20 dollars or less for dvds...

Wow...I'm amazed. Rock Identity finally updated their HP...the release of the NLSG-DVD ist up in the news...took them quite a while. I'm still angry with them for not answering to my interview-request this summer...but oh well, I'll just try again as soon as there is any confirmation about Gazette returning to Germany.
