I can't say I really saw Ruki cry...but he was really emotional at the concert in Bonn this summer. They had paused the concert when the front row barriers broke because those guys up front kept pushing...so hard the barriers COLLAPSED! And they threatened to cancel the show...and then Ruki came back on stage, grabbed the microphone and said "Bitte!" ...which is german for "Please!"...begging the people to behave...I think it wpuld have hurt him more than those stupid people in the crowd if they had indeed cancelled the show.

And I was told that at the end of the second show he shouted "See you next year!" *sighs* I hope they keep their promise and come to Germany again.

Hello everyone, I'm sorry if there is already a thread to this visual kei band.
I made this thread for The Gazette because I think every member of this band is very
talented with all the work they put together to make what you called "music."



☆THE GAZETTE☆
The Gazette is a visual kei rock band that was formed in early 2002 and is currently
signed to PS Company, which also includes Miyavi , Alice Nine, Kagrra, Kra, and etc.
The band was founded on March 10th, 2002 by Uruha (guitarist), Reita (bass), Ruki (vocal),
Aoi (guitar), ex-drummer Yune, and current drummer Kai.
The Gazette is also compared to Dir En Grey by non-fans but the truth is that the two
bands have very few similarities. And most of all, during a Fool's Mate interview,
Gazette was informed to fans that they have big respects for the jrock band, Luna Sea.

I have so much love for Gazette! Especially Aoi! They are so much more than pretty faces (altho they are definately very pretty) I think one of the best jrock bands. I love miseinen.

No no, the barriers DID collapse...and those stupid fangirls up front didn't step back, although there were people injured...A friend told me all about it...I didn't see it for myself because I was standing behind the second barrier...together with the more civilized fans.

And they really threatened to cancel the show...strangely enough the crowd listened to Ruki...I was very glad they did. After Ruki told them to take three steps back and they could put up the barriers again the concert continued.

but all i know is there are crazy fans out there... like seriously crazy.
many celebs were attacked by those fans before...

if any of gazettes fan ever do that, i swear gazette would definitely be pissed and so would many of their other fans including me.

Yeah, I was fine after my friends had to carry me out and I was taken to the paramedics. They gave me some water to drink and I even could watch a little part of the stage, because the paramedic-section was right at the stage-entrance!


Yeah...fans can be rather scary...but I distinguish between fans and fangirls. It's the latter that cause most of the problems...I mean, every fan has a small portion of fangirlism inside and there's nothing to say against it...but certain rules of behaviour should be followed IMHO. And most fangirls break those rules...they seem to lose every little bit of respect...all they have left in their heads is the urge to get to their idols...as close as possible. No matter what.

And I don't want to know what's going on in some of these girl's heads if they see me...and that I get to interview their idols.

I'm more of an Uruha fan. He was the first to catch my eye and he still is.
I don't think that GAZEROCK IS NOT DEAD shirt is available online or anywhere for that matter.
It would be pretty hard to find that seeing that it came from MRD which was nearly 2 years ago... I want that shirt myself.
I'm glad that you still like them despite what others say. It shows you have individuality, something that is sadly lacking nowadays.

yea. they may be discouraged by the type of fans they have. some fans just obsess abt them because they are such a pretty face, and not because they love their music. i think as an artist, they would rather pple love their music instead of them. better yet, both. i hope they dont get discouraged. may they make more kick-ass music for us true fans.

my frd has this japanese gf who is crazy over gazette. so he was complaining to me abt how uruha is prettier then him, and how he wants to be pretty too. basically he's lesbian in a guys body. hah. so that was ard... april this yr. i checked up their pictures and well, pretty faces but coz i didnt listen to their music then, i forgot abt them pretty quickly. heh.

then in october, my sister had reila in her phone. and she was playing it all day long. and i got hooked on that song. her frd so happen to randomly bluetooth reila and gradation to her. haha. that was it! i loved reila so much i dl all of gazette's songs. and then after staring at their pictures, i realised its the same grp tt my frd introduced to me long before that! haha. and yea, alice nine as well. but for alice nine, its diff coz i just love their songs. whereas for gazette, its their songs and them looking darn pretty fine! basically its everything! their attitudes, personalities, amazing songs with equally amazing meanings behind them and how hard they work for everything they've got today. =)
