Does anyone like Hanson?

Come on now, there's no way that I'm the only Hanson fan here.

I'm still a Hanson fan. Their second and third albums were surprisingly good.

HUGE HANSON FAN, RIGHT HERE. Oh, man. I got to see their Live and Electric tour when it came through D.C. in October.

I love the way they went independent--they're taking a real mature approach to the music industry. They're great role models for those who have no desire to give in to the music business' stupid demands. Love, love, love my boys, and always will.

PS: rumor has it that they want to release another album this summer! On Hanson time, that's three summers from now, but still...countdowns are fun.

i remember about 9 years ago (near mm bop time ?) my friend copied a TAPE (omg , can't believe we used to listen to tapes) of their album for me . and there was a song on it that had something like "where did johnny go" ? damn , i LOVED that song

^ I'd have to admit, they did have some pretty catchy songs. Can't remember some at the top of my head but they weren't too bad.

actually...Taylor is married and has TWO kids. dang, huge Hanson fan here...still am...i so want to see their, 'Strong Enough To Break' documentary.

i remember getting the CD as a birthday present, their songs were indeed catchy

there's a new brother-group out called the jonas brothers? something like that. i saw a commercial for them on MTV and it reminded me of Hanson.

wow i remember back in the days when my friends were CRAZY about hansons. but that was sooooo long ago. my best friend had everything of theirs. including this 100 page book on the youngest (zach?) that she would read over n over.

i love hanson. ive seen them 4 times. more now then ever. since they tour almost every summer. hanson does of the best live shows ive ever seen. which always keeps me comeing back. deeper is the best song. i love ike's voice...and taylor he just keeps on popping out the babies. i use to talk on the forums but...hanson fans can be mean so i just stopped. ive been a fan for 9 years but i just cant run with thoses girls. they are always in hanson's personal lives and they hate skinny pretty girls....not saying i am one..but they really doo..

Ironically I hated MMMBop but I was a fan. I don't know how I became one but "Middle of Nowhere" is one of those albums where most of the songs are great and you can listen to over again, unlike some bands with filler songs.

I thought the bashing, "Hanson is gay/are girls, etc etc" were HORRENDOUS. Everyone jumped on the bandwagon to make fun of them (and they were so young)

I haven't listened to them for a looooong time, but in my opinion, they're one of the most talented bands out there.

Wow, Hanson. Haven't heard that name in ages. I just watched "I Love the 90's" on VH1 and they were featured on there. I swear, the first time I heard and saw them, I thought they were girls. *Runs away from all the angry fans*

Deeper is actually the one song I don't like of theirs! That and like...Look at You. Gah, that was a bad song...with Zac um...screeching in the background. Just weird.

And I know what you mean about the Hanson fans--they're so territorial and not friendly to a lot of newcomers. I used to post on alt.fan.hanson on AOL's message board back in the late 90s, and that was fine because I knew them well, but these new ones are cut-throat! And I also know what you mean when you say that they hate skinny pretty girls. I'm thin and not unnattractive, and I feel like they always are trying to stereotype me as a bimbo (which I'm NOT--I'm a friggin' English major, I love art, and I want to go into film directing) AND on top of it all, they tried to imply that, somehow, I wasn't a real fan!! I have loved them since I first heard MMMBop on the radio, and although I've only been to 3 shows, I'm GLAD I haven't been to a gazillion of them because that is called STALKING. Most of them were so pushy and rude at the DC show earlier this year--a GROWN WOMAN (maybe 30?) got in a fight with a teenager! It was horrible.

but yea the hardcore fans are crazy. i was a memeber of the fanclub when they reopened hanson.net from the oldsite you know the dark orange and black one to the new one. i use to post on the old site alot and was really popular on it. i mean i dont think more then 100 girls were on there. and all of a sudden once the new site opened all these new girls showed up..which is fine. but everything changed. alot of them hated natalie and kate. and it seemed they were more about bashing hanson's family then the music so i just stopped going. but my best friend is a die hard fan who goes to all the shows. she was at the DC show. she like travels to OK. she tells me whats going on. theres alot of drama...and of course fake juicy purses. ew. haha but still i cant wait to see them again. drama and all

my god...I use to be such a HUGE hanson fan back in 6th grade...and everyone I knew hated them. And I had the hots for Taylor...until I found out later he had a kid. I still like their music although I don't keep track of them. I admire how they went independent and all too. I'll post my fav songs later probably...
