I know that only a handful of you actually read the rules, so here they are.

1) All general forum rules apply.
2) All tech-support questions, eg. "how do i...", "what do i...", "where do i..." type questions go in the troubleshooting and help subforum.
3) All cellphone topics go in the cellphone subforum, including cellphone troubleshooting and help questions.
4) All DAP, PMP, and camera topics go in the MP3 and camera subforum, including respective troubleshooting questions. Headphones are usually for MP3 players so lets keep them there too.
5) General tech or gadget topics and software discussion/recommendation can go in the general tech section.
5) DO NOT ask for or discuss how to obtain illegal copies of copyrighted material (software, music, videos, etc).
6) Do not chat in the threads. Everyone who partakes in chatting in threads will be warned.
7) All PC and Console gaming threads should be done in the Anime/Manga & Games section.

Anyone who continuously posts troubleshooting questions in the tech section will be warned after 3 offenses.

Please follow these rules, they are exactly the same as the old ones. I have added a few more details so that it will clear up some confusion.

^ there's already a sticky on it so maybe reply with an ammendment to that one and change the topic to "ONLY POST HELP QUESTIONS IN TROUBLESHOOTING!" so people who don't click on the rules might still have an idea of what it entails

lol, i reckon they fit into troubleshooting by nature because i consider indecisiveness a trouble... but those kind of threads certainly get a larger response in tech and is imo a part of what tech is all about...

i guess they'll constitute a grey area in the rules, similar to the chat threads in a few of the other sections...
