o.O italian songs . . . . .hmm I only heard a few, but only because i'm into the NOIR anime, and they had some pretty good Italian songs. LIke Salva Nos, and Canta Per Me. But I think those songs are sorta meloncholic sounding. Bit if I come across some other types of Italian songs or lists I'll be sure to post it here for you Stephen

I'm glad someone finally made an Italian music thread biggrin.gif The only Italian singer I've heard of is Laura Pausini and I've been meaning to look up some more. I think I might start learning the language soon and this'll definitely help biggrin.gif And maybe I won't be teased as much since I'm Italian, too laugh.gif

Good afternoon. smile.gif

I just stumbled upon here to ask if are there existing Italian songs with the theme about climate (like global warming), human rights, peace and security or millennium development? I'm just trying out my luck here. I'm thinking that somebody might help me.

I'm a student in the Philippines and my classmates and I need it for our United Nations Day celebration.

I hope someone will be kind enough to help me. Kindly email me at ejaxene@yahoo.com or just PM me here at Soompi.

Again. Thank you... smile.gif I'm sorry for the disturbance.

PS. I don't understand Italian. Just English. smile.gif I'm still learning how to be multilingual. Hehe. I'm so sorry about that.

I can't really help you XD the only italian singer i've ever known is Claudio Baglioni, my mom's favorite from like the '70s (but apparently he's still around, 'cause my grandmother brought my mom a new cd from Italy several years ago and once i even saw a newer one in Borders)
i grew up listening to that guy, though, (even though we're not italian AT ALL, wtf?! laugh.gif) and i still like a lotta his songs. his style changed a lot from the beginning of his career to now. hmm, i wonder if i could find any of his newer stuff around on the net...

anyway, thanks to the people who recommended artists or posted charts, 'cause i'd like to try some out.

Sorry, Eja. I don't know any Italian songs about those topics. I wish I could help you sad.gif

I can't believe this thread is alive again laugh.gif Might as well share some more good music~ I really like Zero Assoluto's music. Here's their song Mezz'ora: http://youtube.com/watch?v=zRuroAO1zfs
