I started up a tennis thread, where we can talk about TENNIS!!

tennis is one of my favorite sports to watch. i haven't been keeping up with the happenings lately though >.<

I love to play and watch tennis.
I haven't been following anything since the US Open ended though.

I PLAY TENNIS at my high school!
today we're having our TOURNAMENT! yay!
tennis is ending.......in 2 or 3 more days....oh no...
i dont want it to end...
but i do want it to too...
cos i homeworks and stuffs...you know.
it's very FUN playing tennis.
next year, im going to be a varsity! this year im jsut a JV.

Every time I play tennis I get injured somehow. Like one time I was playing doubles with my cousin in this community tournament and he fully kncoked me down after running into me...then I sprained my knee falling down on this clay court in our stadium...that really sucked

Right now I'm scared of ever picking up a racket again

I love playing tennis but I HATE MY SOCKS TAN. It sucks. It looks SO weird when I wear flipflops with shorts but I do it anyway. xD

I'm playing tennis for my High School right now. I hate playing singles because there's a lot of pressure but it's great to be the captain! It just sucks that you have to get out of your last period to go play the matches. I have to make up a lot of stuff for my Chemistry class =T It also takes a lot of time out of your social life and your homework time. Still, I LOVE TENNIS.

I used to love watching tennis when Sampris was still playing. Now, Federer is dominating and it's getting boring :0.

I play on the school team though! I have a match tommorow against this one school... They're supposed to be the best in the district. I'm playing as first doubles. I hope I win. Got any tips for me for improving my tennis serves? :D

^For doubles...? Get it in =D My #1 at our school can serve 115 bombs, but I always draw the unforce error serving at 80-90 mph, same result less effort!

cant wait till our season starts which is like... in 5 months, well.. all our senior players, which was like... 3/4 of our varsity left, so.. hope we make up for that.

hah! i wish MY tennis season is over. so far we only won one league match. =]

^Just think of it this way, if you are good enough to play in So-cal, you are at a pretty high level compared to some other places ^^.

no one plays in the FALL/WINTER? i guess im the only one....i like it better in the fall/winter because
a) no one else is at the courst so MORE ROOM!
if outdoors, i can warm up with practicing ^0^ and not be all hot

Our tennis court got messed up by skaters riding in it... damn it.. i'll have to get a few pictures of it, its really messed.. i can't wait until my season starts!!

TENNIS is my favorite sport. I want to play tennis so bad since I never play before. I also want to join the school team but since I have no experience whatsoever, I don't think i'll make it to the team....
But I really want to join the team.......
