From the japanese article I read, it said that Kusano's friends were for sure drinking, but there was confusion as to whether Kusano himself actually drank. They didn't suspend him, he volunteered to leave for a bit.
They'll all be coming back in May. After they have a break (which they were going to take anyway!) after their new single promotion. Uchi will also be back on that date! ^o^

My parents, and I suspect, a lot of other people like how Johnny's Ent. promotes good legal behavior in their employees. *I* liked it 'till it got Uchi suspended >.<
But there is a huge amount of underage kids that go off and get drunk (even at age 13 the kids are already partying hard!).
I doubt that Kusano really went drinking even though some of his friends were drinking in the Karaoke room, 'cause he wouldn't PURPOSELY go off and endanger his reputation after the Uchi incident.
Oh, and Japanese legal drinking age is 20, for any that are curious.

Despite my mom and mom's friends efforts (to keep me from "forgetting an entire language" :/) , I just couldn't get into Japanese music/entertainment.
I had heard and seen some Kat-Tun things, and I really only liked Junnosuke. Of course, I had also heard of Tackey&Tsubasa.
But then I saw Nobuta, and BAM! I was into Akira. He seemed so much cuter in the drama, I mean dorky-like. Wooow, he's such a cool/confident guy....so different!
Now I'm obsessed with NEWS and Tackey&Tsubasa!!! I love those Johnny's.

and about yamapi's dancing abilities, well i still don't have an opinion on that. To be honest i still don't have an opinion about JE boys dancing abilities in general, because i have never ever saw them dancing freestyle and to songs that arent theirs. in freestyle dacing is when you see if someone is a talented dancer or not. a Choreography doesn't give you that opportunity because everybody with effort and practice could pull off a choreography.

Now that i discovered this group and that i’m slowly starting to like them, they disappear. It is so unfair, I wish I had known them sooner, but at the same time I think that It was better to me that I know them during this stage and not during their previous stage, because before they had that skinny, short boys image. That I honestly don’t find appealing at all. I like their current image they look more healthy and some of them are starting to look like men instead of kids (yamapi, Ryo etc), their voices are also improving, maybe it is just me but I think that they sound a lot better in Sayaendou that in the other old songs from them that I downloaded to check on the group at the beginning.

The petition for that Uchi’s come back is starting to move, it has like 137 signatures. I wish they let the boy comeback, I mean at least to his other group if news is suspended until who knows when.
