There are plenty of fans who care about Uchi and who are still awaiting for his arrival. Kusano, as well. Just because Kusano doesn't have the status of Kame and Jin, that doesn't mean that he doesn't have a great amount of fans who support and love him.

Yes, Kusano did get accepted into a college but so did Shige and Tegoshi. You don't see them walking off, do you?

I don't understand why you're already deciding that NEWS is somehow going to break up from all of this. Do you even care about NEWS? I have the greatest hope that Uchi will return and an even bigger hope that Kusano is going to come back, too. Kitagawa-san himself said that Kusano didn't drink and the reason for his suspension is because he wants Kusa to stay low for a while, until they investigate this further.

Kitagawa-san knows that taking away Uchi and Kusano will only hurt NEWS and the fan base. And Kitagawa-san, being the sometimes selfish man he is, knows that doing that will not bring success for NEWS and possibly a bad name for Johnny's Entertainment.

UCHI AND KUSANO ARE GOING TO COME BACK AND THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THAT NEWS IS GOING TO BREAK UP.

NEWS is SUCH a great group. Each of them is very talented in different ways. They maybe don't have as much spotlight or media attention as any other groups out there but they do have lots of fans. Just because you're not as popular as others doesn't mean you're not popular at all.

Thumbs up for them that they still consider pursuing education even if they are already pop-stars with lots of fans, fame, money, singing/acting career, etc etc. This just shows that they want to pursue their own career or ambitions aside of just being in a idol-group.

And I doubt Johnny will kick-out Uchi and/or Kusano from JE/NEWS permanently. Think about all the protests & angers this might cause the fans and that will only cause loss for Johnny himself.

And let's not compare NEWS with KAT-TUN, okay? Both of them are great groups with talents. But they're different from each other. NEWS is NEWS, KAT-TUN is KAT-TUN.

Tegoshi has a really nice voice. Before, I never paid attention to his singing 'coz all I looked were only Ryo, Pi & Uchi. But after awhile, I just realized that Tegoshi has a nice voice. He should sing more often.
And I think that Koyama is pretty good at dancing & MC-ing definitely. I like it when he's MC-ing in SC. It fits him ^^

luluchan - I understand where you're coming from and I'm glad you didn't get offended by what I said. I did come off strong and my apologies for that.

However, I understand what you mean about being realistic and everything. But like you said, Kusano and Uchi are normal human beings. They make mistakes and have to pay for them. Uchi has already paid his debt. As for Kusano, he really has nothing to pay for. He said he didnt do it, Kitagawa-san said he didnt do it, he really has nothing to prove. If Kitagawa-san believes in Kusano, than his punishment is not going to go to the extent as Uchi's.

And, yes, Uchi and Kusano did decide to get into the business.. but it's not because they wanna be "idols" or whatever. Like any singer, they love to sing and perform and just wanna share that with the world. They are still normal people and we cannot expect them to be perfect. They do normal things, just as any other normal person. And, yes, they make mistakes.

I don't wanna say that Kitagawa-san isn't selfish.. cause really, he is selfish. I'm willing to admit that he favors Yamapi and AKame because they bring in a lot of success. However, that doesn't make them any more important than any other JE member. They are all important to the management, to the company, and to the fans. Kitagawa-san knows this and I doubt he would take them away just like that. Like what bubblepeach said, it would really hurt JE's reputation and image if they kicked out Kusano and Uchi.

Yeah, I think Tegoshi said once that he tried alcohol. He mentioned something about Yamapi, how Yamapi was making fun of him when he made a sour face after tasting the alcohol. I love TegoxMassu duets. In my opinion, they're the two best singers in NEWS (if you count Kusano, they're my top three favorite singers ). Even though I like Anniversary when sung by KinKi Kids, I absolutely LOVE it when TegoxMassu sing it! Especially that one time, on Kei-chan's radio show, when Kei-chan played a clip of them singing it. *shudders* Oh man, Tegoshi's singing sent chills down my spine. LOL! That boy is good...

I must admit this, I used to think Ryo & Uchi are the only good-looking ones in NEWS. Then YamaP & Koyama. Koyama may not be as pretty as others but there's something I really like about him. He seems so humble & down-to-earth ^^
Then after watching this particular episode of SC, of which one I forgot, Kusano is actually quite good-looking too. Kusano, I will support you no matter what. Be strong =) Tegoshi & Massu for their voices. I haven't found anything special with Shige LOL. But I'm sure he's there for a reason ^^

In Japan, they value their morals very much. As idols, Johnny wants any JE member to set a good example. He doesn't want them to be perfect but he just wants them to be good idols. It may not be that big of a deal in America but in Japan, it's a very big deal.

Yes, there are fans who are leaving him. Some calling him dumb for "drinking", some saying that they just don't like him anymore because of this. I have no respect for those "fans" at all because if they really loved NEWS, they would stick by them no matter what. And if anything, they should believe Kusano when he says he didn't do it.

i too am a NEWS fan more than KAT-TUN. i kind of have a love/hate relationship with KAT-TUN. like, i like junno and kame but not enough to keep watching their stuff. also when i get too much of KAT-TUN i start gettting annoyed by them (sorry to KAT-TUN fans). on the other hand i never get tired of the NEWS guys. i love all the guys in NEWS...even thru their scandals. i don't mind that they do that stuff because they are human and boys. it's not as bad as other things that could have been done. also NEWS guys love/like/support each other so i love that kind of team work and camaraderie.

Ahhhh~ I feel the same way! I mean, I do love KAT-TUN, they are one of my favorite groups. But my love for them will never compare to my love for NEWS. Anything NEWS makes me happy. Whenever I have too much KAT-TUN.. it really is too much and I get tired of them easily. But with NEWS, I have an unconditional love for them. It doesn't matter how many times I watch their clips, listen to their songs, or look at their pictures.. it like it never fades for me. I never get tired of them and my love for them just grow. Ne.. do I sound cheesy? Gomen ne.. but I just have this strong, unconditional love for NEWS. I can't help but get all gushy when I talk about them... LOL

I remember when I first got into NEWS, the only ones that I loved were Kusano (he was my first love. <33333 LOL) and Tegoshi (hahaha~ Ironic that after all this time, they're still my top two favs. xD). I always thought that I really wouldn't favor the other members. But it's been almost a year now and I love them all! I really do! I love all their different personalities and I love how they treat each other like brothers. They're just so cute, it's impossible not to love them all! Like, with KAT-TUN, even though they've been around longer, I rarely ever see or hear about them expressing how much they care about each other or love each other. And I rarely see any sort of affection between them (except in their photoshoots but still..). But with NEWS, like I said, they treat each other like brothers. I love how they express how they care about each other. Like how Ryo-chan says he loves Tegoshi.. or how Shige calls Koyama kawaii and everything.. or when they hug each other and stuff.. which reminds me, I remember Massu said once how the NEWS members just love to hug and kiss Tegoshi. How could you not love a bunch of boys like that? I just love their bond with each other. It seems to be stronger than a lot of the other groups (in my opinion). Ne.. I rambled on so much.. I told you I get all gushy about them....

BTW, I actually have 5 favorites in NEWS. Kusano, Tegoshi, Shige, Massu, and Koyama. So I basically love BEBE4 + Kei-chan.

At first I like KAT-TUN 'cos of Jin & Junno but somehow my love for them kinda degrading ever since I found out about NEWS. About SC, when a person produce it, let's say Koyama. Does he decide what song the artists are gonna perform & all the games in it? Or he just decides a theme and let the other singers choose the song that fits the theme themselves?

Yeah, Kei-chan's show is weekly but I rarely get to find it. Shige has a radio show, too. It's called Shiget Together. Tego has one, too, I believe. And Massu.. and Kusa... haha~! All my favorites have radio shows. I've never heard any of the other ones though. I have heard Shige's and Tego's radio shows.. but haven't heard Massu or Kusa's yet.

Uchi has a bigger chance of coming out cuz he is more popular apparently.. and SOME RUMOURS say that AKIRA 's 1st choice wasn't Yamapi but Uchi (or Jin) but then since Uchi had the scandal so then Yamapi got the job~ that's why he wasnt really happy bout it and wanted to prove everyone he can' excel so he was in the resting room a lot and left KAme and Nobuta 2gether a lot (that's why they had a rumour that they were dating) and APPARENTLY tbs wants to make them 2 in a drama again ~ (how true is THAT lol dunno )

I dunno bout all these rumours i read it on the papers ~ haha ~ but u know how ppl make up stories these days .. can't really trust i guess hhaa~

I really care for NEWS and especially for Kusano. I won't dare want these rumors to spread any farther. They're already hurting from all these other rumors.. I don't want them to be hurt by any more.

Yeah, KAT-TUN and NEWS do have about the same fan base but it's different when one fangirl completely loves KAT-TUN and another completely loves NEWS. Like me.. I'm a fan of both but when it comes down to it, I'm a 100% NEWS fan. So I guess it's different that way. And plus, you can't forget about Kanjani8. Fans of Uchi will also be Kanjani8 fans so the take away of Uchi would hurt them as well.

ACKK~ I can't talk about this stuff anymore. Even though I know it's not true and it won't happen, I don't like thinking about even the idea of a permanent suspension.

i like the yamapi+kame combo better than kame+jin combo. i like jin more as a performer than a actor. also, i feel bad for yamapi if that is true. being picked second. altho i would've loved to see how it would have turned out if it was uchi+kame as shuji to akira.

i'm praying NEWS would be together before spring ends.

It's been confirmed. I'll add the article later. After spring, all of NewS will be under a period of "self-reflection" for the rest of the year. All of the solo activities will still go as planned, but.. Oh my freakin' goodness. I have never been sooo shocked & scared before.

I hate this.. I really really hate this.

Just.. please. Don't blame this on Kusano. I mean, say what you want, but.. I really don't think it's his fault, at least not entirely. Those pictures were supposed to be half a year old already, so it could have happened before Uchi's incident, who knows.

But in the end.. I am in ultra shock. So, so sad right now.

Heh. I hate how the article blunty mentions "the group that has the 17 year old drinking" as if it's the truth. Anyhow, the rest of the members must be really angry with Kusano right now. Even if it isn't his fault I can understand why. This is just terrible.. Especially w/ KAT-TUN debuting in the same month too. Is Johnny doing this deliberately? I don't understand.

The new NewS single will be re-recorded. The release date for their calendar will also be pushed back (I'm guessing they want to edit out Kusa's pics). This is sooo bad.

They are halting their activities after May right? Well their single is going to be released within these couple of months (or at least sometime before their "self-reflection period"), so I'm guessing that their sales are gonna be really high even though I can't say I like the song very much. Which is good, I suppose.
