muir, though not the most aesthetically pleasing college, i didn't have any trouble growing accustomed to (or even starting to like) the dorms.
it's a pretty good spot on campus, and most of your classes will be pretty close. I feel bad for those from sixth that gotta come to york or ledden early in the morning

i go to ucsd already. marshaaaaall. i love it. ovt & geisel are all i need and they are only minutes away. GEs are easyyyyy too, and the dorms are pretty good compared to others.

I'm also in 6th. It's actually one of the best colleges but has a bad connation because it has yet to be named. What majors are you guys pursuing?

undeclared. it's hard deciding on a major for me =/

My cousins both go there. So many asian girls there . I wish some would move and spread across the nation...

omg revelle...go kill yourself now...just kidding. but yeah, good luck there...they are one of the colleges with the harder GEs and yuckier dorms...

^ whats the best college in your oppinion (nicest living space etc.), I'm not entirely concerned about GE since I'm transfering in.

yeah same here, i applied for transfer and man the wait is killing me.....

if you're transferring in, you're a 3rd year +? then you probably won't get on campus housing anyway..right? i think warren has the nicest housing...marshall is ok too...erc dorms are nice, but all doubles/triples...but their apts are all niiiiice singles..

I applied as a electrical engineering major. I'm hoping that I'll hear by tomorrow....hopefully it's an acceptance! Right now I go to virginia tech, man i wanna get out of here. The diversity sucks here and it's in the middle of no where...

neongenx thank YOU for those pics! YAY! i visited SIXTH on admit day and the residence halls ARE AMAZING. and the pics only confirm my initial impressions


actually the pics are just of the residence halls... the sixth college in itself is amazing... and not to mention quite new! and non-cabin like.

i might double major in theatre/art/lit (major : science, minor : arts/liberal arts ) so its convenient...

the environment is really nice too... very chill

when they asked for ranking when you applied i ranke eleanor roosevelt 1; thurgood mashall 2; earl warren 3; and etc for revelle 6. so i got rejected to those i choose first and got into revelle??? im lost O__O???

GE is General Education Requirements... the required coureses you're going to have to take to graduate. Revelle has the most out of all the colleges good luck As for the dorms... I personally don't think theyre that bad, theyre just the oldest. I actually prefer Revelle dorms over Muir dorms, but that might just be me.


some freshmen get lucky and get apartments instead of res halls. maybe you'll be one of the luckier ones? i've never been inside the res halls before but the apts are pretty nice.

the so called cabins in sixth college is not as bad hehehe..

hehehe the only complain i have abt sixth college is that they need to make CAT more interesting..but i would rather take 3 quarters of CAT than 5 quarters of humanities from revelle, or worst 6 quarters of MMW from ERC

thats..the most part of the ERC ges too! i started taking MMW my second year...im doing double major and studying abroad and im still able to graduate in 4 years!!

wow.. where i live it doesn't seem like a lot of people i know are going to sixth, but here there are so many! woot sixth college~ ^__^;

I'm going into my second year this fall in REVELLE college as a mechanical engineering major. Yes...many people say wrong major in the wrong college because of all the GEs + major requirements. I was actually planning to Intercollege transfer to Warren College(cuz it's known to be THE engineering college) but at the last minute i decided not to. Humanities aren't that bad and plus out of the five, im taking 3,4,5 right now during summer so I'm going to be getting that out of the way...after that everything else will be pretty chill. And yes our dorms are pretty old...especially our Argo Res halls look like Motel 6 in a way. BUT ! nothing can beat having concrete walls so you don't hear the people talking in the other room or the footsteps from the upper floor. Also good for throwing a lil party in the room too. Another plus is having CLICS library right next to our Res Halls...not TOO bad dont you think so?
