For R/B/HIPHop I listen to LEehom , Jay Chou, Machi, Stanley Haung, Nickie Lee, Coco Lee

All I really listen to right now is Jay Chou, Stefanie Sun Yan Zi, and a band called Nan Quan Mama. I'm so disappointed because everybody underrates Nan Quan Mama, and I think they're amazing. But apparently not many people acknoledge that.

Oh yes, May Day (Wu Yue Tian) is amazing as well.

Lately, the newer songs have really not been to my liking. So I'm on Chinese music hiatus right now. Oh, listen to some of the Super Girl performers. Some of them are really good... while others, I despise.

JJ Lin is okay. S.H.E has only a few songs that I like.

It's mostly up to you.

JJ Lin have good English. lol.
Anyways I mostly listen to drama OSTs.

Can't think of female equivalents of those three. Still have yet to hear a mainstream female pop artist in C-pop that can sing really well.

since so many have mentioned Jay, JJ, Leehom and the others, i'll name other people that i like and find pretty good

ok, i'll start off with the newer people, Nicholas Teo/Zhang Dong Liang - he's a good singer and has nice songs. I think they called him Prince of the K I guess I liked "Your Heart, My Heart" off his latest album altho' I liked "Hurt" off the 1st album also.

A-lin Huang - she's like a younger version of A-mei, so she's got a strong voice. "Lovelorn Not Guilty" is the title of her album and main song, very nice song, it's kinda rockish ballad I think.

Alex Lin Gang Ling- powerful voice and he can break dance XD his album was Pray and i liked the 4th track, really showed off his vocals.

Anson Hu- his new album, Music Code is really good ^^

Evonne Hsu- i like her voice, she has a pretty good range plus i think she was in Snow Wolf Lake with Jacky Cheung.

5566- ok, so they're a 'boyband' but i loved their last album, Hao Jiu Bu Jian and they can actually sing beside dance & they do tons of other stuff besides that and are probly one of the most hardworking groups out there. I liked all the songs on the album but i guess one of my favorites was "Hui Dao Wo Shen Bian"

183 Club- they've gotten popular cuz of WQBQW & AQMFS, they have more of a Latin feel to their songs. "Sweet Date" is good off the AQMFS OST.

for older artists, Richie Yen and Emil Chou released new albums this year. I liked Emil's Walking in the Rain.
