They are mad cool, I really love when they collab with Mariah Carey, they go so well together!
But "First of the month" and "Cross Roads" are the best!
Who can forget those Weed songs??
Take Five
May 18 2006, 09:05 AM
i only listened to crossroads, but i wanna listen to more. all i remember is vh1 saying they killed their careers by collaborating with that one white guy whose name i don't remember at the moment.

That's cuz Bizzy passed away I think.
BTNH are one of the best rap groups evar.
Born: 1985
May 18 2006, 01:47 PM
^ Oh?? I didn't know that Bizzy passed.
Anyway..yeah that's probably kinda what "broke" their fame, but I do know that Krayzie Bone is still doin' solo projects and whatnot.
I hope they put together a new album even though one member is gone.

wth? Bizzy Bone isn't dead, The group and him had arguements so he left the group and is now doing his own thing. He has a new album that is about to come out.
Layzie Bone and Krayzie Bone are doing solo albums, I'm not sure what Wishbone is doing though, last i saw him he was featured on Krayzie Bone album. neways

Yeah, who said they're not well known? Back in the day it was such heavy rotation for all their songs.
Hmmm Bone thugs n harmony. I don't like them but then again I don't hate them. It's like they almost sing instead of rap and a lot of people confuse rapping fast with rapping well.
But nonetheless, I do own their greatest hits CD.

crossroads, 1st of the month...those songs are ok..their better songs were their harder songs like land of the heartless, mo murda, sleepwalkers, east 99, die die die, no surrender etc
bone thugs are the most realest rappers out there, and they diss up all these hip-pop mainstream rappers. their freestyle is nutty, they can beat any of the mainstream rappers out there nowadays
bizzy bone aint dead, he just made some bad decisions in life, flesh-n-bone is in jail, krayzie, layzie and wish still kick it, but there are still lots of rumours about bone thugs reuniting, they have a new album coming out this summer with just krayzie, layzie, flesh and wish (bizzy may appear on it), and they got productions from dr.dre, swiss beatz, three 6 mafia..
o and u guys should check out a new song by Lil Eazy (eazy-e's son-the man who signed bone thugs) called "this ain't a game" the songs shows that bone thugs still got it (bizzy is on this track and its new)

Chill out man.
I never said I was into underground stuff - I'm always into mainstream. I don't know if that's a problem with you or not but I've always tended to listen to mainstream music anyway...that is, mainstream music from the 90s. I don't consider myself knowledgeable about anything underground, and simply, I just don't listen to it. What were Wutang, NBN, Westide Connection, Redman, luniz, etc? Commercial. They had commercial music hits and if I liked the artist, then I'd search for more songs by them. Why would I try to find the lesser known hits of BTNH if I didn't like the mainstream ones in the first place? I guess you could say that I haven't given them a fair chance by only listening to the commercial stuff, but to be real, I don't feel their style. Plain and simple. That's not to say I don't respect them though, I did mention earlier that I copped a greatest hits CD, so I have listened to songs outside of Resurrection or 1st of the Month. Is it wrong not to like a group?

sometimes the mainstream songs are very different from the same artist's lesser known songs. u cant just judge an artist based only on what the mainstream likes. many times i find not-well-known songs in albums that are much better than the title song or the ones that are advertised in the mainstream. u just gotta try it all out before you decide. you'll never really know the artist until you do.

Lol man I respect your comment. You're right, you never really know the full capabilities of an artist just through their released hits. I mean, if I generalized all the artists I listened to, I might not even like rap.
I retract my former statement, I was just in a pissed-off mood. No hate, Jun Lao.

They're from Cleveland, but they have a lot of West Coast influence in them, especially with some of those G-Funk beats. They're ok... Not a huge fan of their singing. but man... Those G-Funk beats. I prefer RZA production (lol).
