Sounds pretty good. I read the comments that people left and it has a link to their myspace so I checked it out and they let you download the full song but it sounded nowhere near as good as the video. I think they said something about a remix at the beginning of the video. Remix > Original

i wish they'd play some of this on the radio, but it's not the typical christian music, so i don't know how it'd go over on a Christian station, and mainstream probably wouldn't play it BECAUSE it's Christian..

um ok , do you wanna know something that creeps me out hardcore ? CHRISTIAN POP MUSIC , and everything that falls under the depressingly large umbrella that this particular title covers .
ie , christian rap = wtf .
believe all you like , but what's the deal with rapping about it . it's just soo laame it makes me hurt . boom tish boom tish jesus died for our sins , yo , yo , uh .
they're no more talented than anyone else , either . they're not amazing .

Jun 16 2006, 01:26 PM
HAHahahhaha no. they will never succeed in this country. for one, theyre asian, which makes it not impossible but hard as hell to succeed. i mean look at eminem for instance. basically one of the few successful white rappers out of the many thousands that try. also, this country is not overall christian. not everyone believes in god. that eliminates a huge proportion of the population. and even if ppl believed in god, i doubt that many ppl would actually listen to guys rapping about it. basically i think the whole combination is a bad idea. rap was originally created by black ppl. there are certain limits to what topics rap can be about and there is a certain spirit to rap. lol i think its just funny.. its ridiculous. rap is most popular to black ppl and im sure they dont wanna listen to some asian guys rapping about god. oh and i dont like their music anyways.
i am an athiest btw... i dont believe in any religion. however im not against any religion either. i can predict many ppl will disagree with me just from some posts above. however, these are just my opinions. argue all u want. just dont make judgements about me for u do not know me.

how exactly do you act "black" or "urban"? and how are they doing it?
Acting black is what people say in general... acting 'urban' is the more proper term.
And by you asking how to act 'black'/'urban' just shows that you already know what it means, no need to act dumb. We stereotype it as acting 'black'.
Just listen to the way they speak before the song starts...
and listen to how they speak near the end of the song
"yeah~ no chorus necessary, we victorious!" and so on and so fourth
Speaking like that doesn't come naturally from a Korean kid growing up.
One forces himself to speak like that when they get into that whole hip hop/gangster thing and it's pathetic and embarrassing.

i can't understand what they are saying but i'm sure the lyrics are very meaningful. i like Kanye west's Jesus Walks more though. That song is the only rap song i can listen to over and over. sometimes i cry when i watch the video (i cry easily though)
i don't find anything wrong about christian music, especially christian rap. it's way better than talking how they can use a gun or how many girls they have.

What makes you think there trying? What makes you think thats not the way they talk? Your assuming because there Asian there not possible way they can talk like that. So your saying that black people talk like that naturally but Asian people don't?
Anyway they were hot. I really don't come across Christian rappers that rap like that. So it was refreshing to see. I love the lyrics as well.

That's awesome...I don't think that this isn't a "modest and respectful" way to praise God..just because rappers these days rap about all that bullsh*t doesn't mean rap is bad..rap is also a great way to speak your mind, show emotions, etc.
and dekadog, just because these guys don't have sex, drugs, girls, etc. in their lyrics doesn't mean you gotta hate on them.

For those who say that Christian rap is "lame" and think that it's not appropriate, let me ask you, "What genre of music is for Christians, then?" I don't want anyone to feel offended by this, because I too, am a Christian, but it's just tiring to hear so many people in the forum, outside of the forum, say that this type of Christian music is not modest and respectful. They're expressing their feelings towards God--how they're thankful for their gifts and want to give everything to Him. They're trying to act "urban" and "black"...? Who are we judge how they "act"?
I'm not a big fan of rap, but the lyrics to this song really touched me. Ignore the rap style beat, listen to the lyrics. I can relate to it. He gives us so much, yet at the hardest times of our lives, we show no gratitude.

#1 EVERYBODY and I mean EVERYBODY was on 50's pipe when he was about to drop. Wanksta, In Da Club? I know everybody was gettin' down to that.
#2 50 isn't a "crappy" rapper, he's a decent rapper, who chose to become a sellout rather than stay true to the streets (even though that's the goal of every rapper and I don't know why he's catchin' heat for it"
there are differences between being a bad rapper and making moves to get that guap

here's the lyrics for anyone who couldn't understand them
"Gift"
(manifest)
Couldn't care much less you invisible
blind to the eyes of the world so they ridicule
you, tryin to get rid of you and we let em by
when it's their own lives that they minimize
what if they knew that you're alive
that you gave up your one and only son to die
for mankind, could they deny
the truth of it all, that it aint a lie
Almighty God use me for your purpose
naw i'm not perfect, hear my words
but one thing is certain, and i'm sure man
all i wanna do is kneel at your service
here at your service, all for you
all praise to the Lord, i offer you
my life, my soul, you the reason I breathe
every season of the year wanna walk with you
let me burn wit a passion, everlastin
life let it happen, speak through my rappin
don't wanna feel no shame no more
u can get it done any way any fashion
it's all about attitude,
you give so much and i show no gratitude
blessed with the gift of music, now I use it to give back to you
give me the strength till I get there
so let me stand, not just sit there
you gave me the gift
now i gotta give it back to the best of the best, oh heck yea
(lyricks)
Who's this that you're hearing again?
dedicated to the people, lives, and events
God are you there? cuz mom isn't here
daddy cries in silence, his tears fall to the ground
all my sound, my work, all my music fuses
humans confusing people, livin in a world that's not so see through
with that said, the booth is lethal
I become a weapon, everytime I step in, step out
Lyricks in effect now, bullets in .wav form and everybody's set now but
hold your fire. ladies and gentleman, I just wanna let you know
more proud than I've ever been
name is irrelevant though. me, nobody
just got a samaritan flow.

their song "Gift" and the remix version of it was really nice.. they have talent and i'm really proud of them that they are using it for God. it would be nice to meet them one day and have them do a testimony and share something with our church.
and thanks to flipdragn for the lyrics.
