Seattle Spree Killer's Raver Rage
American psycho killer Kyle Huff, who in March massacred six innocent ravers
attending an after-party in Seattle then shot himself dead, may have been motivated
by an intense hatred of ravers, Seattle TV channel King TV reported this week.
The station revealed that local police are in possession of a letter they believe
was written by the 28 year old 6' 5" maniac to his identical twin brother in which
Huff hinted about dying and expressed his loathing towards dance music fans in
general.
"They're packed in there, groping each other, having sex, this hippy stuff has to
end," said Huff, "I've got to do something about it. These people are screwing up
the world." (Seattle Post-Intelligencer)
The discovery of the note contradicted the initial assessment of Seattle Mayor Greg
Nickels, who said after the shooting 'this was a premeditated act; this was someone
who at some point decided he was going to kill a lot of people. We don't know why he
picked these particular victims. We do know that this incident was not caused by
music, a particular type of music."
In contrast, a number of local people posting comments on the Seattle
Post-Intelligencer's bulletin board following the murders, were sympathetic towards
Duff's actions, with some implicitly blaming the ravers.
"It's not a surprise that this happened. Hardcore ravers are often times involved
with drugs. When you have drugs you often times have violence," 'LoneLibertarian'
said in one post, while in another 'Krakatoa' declared 'Raves go hand-in-hand with
the drug ecstasy. Where drugs are commonly used, a drug culture is fostered and
sometimes the results are the negative ones such as what happened here.''
'Innocent' also implied the dance music fans brought it on themselves, explaining
'the Rave scene is about music and drugs'.
"At some point people have mental snaps with all the continued exposure to the
drugs, this could have been our shooter's problem," he suggested.

6-foot-5 and pushing 280 pounds, Kyle Huff could seem almost invisible in a crowd.
The man responsible for Saturday's massacre at a Capitol Hill house party had a
demeanor that belied his hulking stature . . .')
