At some point, Manato Irie (Hideaki Takizawa) began to withdraw himself from the world. Even when picked on, it' s not the real Irie, but an act. However one day he meets a strange girl - Yui Misawa (Kyoko Fukada). Yui, who finds the tedium of everyday life unbearable, teases Manato with her almost too upfront and honest manner. Alone and afraid Manato wavers but finds himself drawn to her. But his feelings for Yui are doomed to be unrequited.

I always wanted to watch this drama.
Haven't got the oportunity yet >.<

its definitly a unique(?) drama. unlike anything i've ever saw. keeps u wanting to know whats gonna happen next

i didnt really like this drama ... it was something different though.

this drama was too weird. it wasn't really my kind of drama altho tackey and kyoko both look really good.

remember that scene where the parents married and they were doing it and kyoko brought tackey down to listen to them outside of their room. that was way too weird even tho she had good intentions when doing that.

i haven't seen the drama yet but planning to do as soon as i finished watching the other few dramas i started...kyoko is so cute! and tackey...ohhh....hehheh

Honestly, I don't like this drama. It was too...yea, weird for me. For many different reasons. One being the whole falling in love with your step-brother thing. I have a step brother so it's hitting too close to home and family. Two, the story just didn't leave a great impact on me. It was unique, if most. And three, I'm sorry to say that I'm not a fan of Kyoko Fukada. She's pretty but I can't stand her acting.

I dun have this drama I Hope if they has this torrent from Fansub with sub english and quality is good like DVD I hope...

aw this drama teaches you alot about love. i love the part there she tell tacky that if shes scared of getting hurt that means she loves herself more then she loves that other guy. SO SWEET. i love the ending. this is one of the best japanese dramas ^^

the story kept twisting and turning that half the time i was going - O_O ...
i wouldn't mind recommending others to watch this drama, only that some people might be turned off by the story line. (what is it with asian dramas and people falling in love with their step sibling ? autumn story was like that too. lol )

however, i thought 4 young actors in this drama did a good job with acting. this was one drama that made me think hideaki takizawa does good in serious/brooding characters. lol.

Something about this drama turned me away. I didn't like the ending. their characters were really weird. esp the guy who played the piano... (what was his name again? I forgot.. lol) anyway, I finished it last night.

I hated the ending. She was SOOOOO supposed to die. I think she should've died, it would've been more bittersweet? yes... It would've explained better for his "and I will never forget you" quotes, but I guess leading the viewers to thinking she was going to die was their intention. overall I didn't like it. teens that age already having sex... tsk tsk tsk. EVERYONE of the main characters in that drama had sex now that I think about it.

i've seen this drama series it was ok, out of 10 i would probably rate it a 7? the story line was good but it was weird at the same i don't quite know how to describe it but to me it was just unbelievable!!

but i would still recommend it, its something you have to watch at least once!! plus all the characters were quite cute!!

it was somewhat disappointing that the ending ended like that i think it was too out of the blue. like with no warning and BAM! it's like that... i never would've guessed that her intentions were... different i guess

Taki thinks most people in the world save the best for last (like eating the strawberry on the shortcake last). Fukuda's character is unique because she thinks it's better to eat the best part first -- since something might happen if you wait.

This drama was ok, but not the best. Tackey was pretty good in it.

I honestly didn't like this drama. It was nothing to do with the stepbrother thing and everything to do with the completely selfish behaviour of the main female character. I did not like her and I couldn't understand why that guy liked her. And where did that ending come from? There was nothing in the entire drama that lead you to believe that was coming. So what exactly was the point?

i didnt like this soo much too even though im a takki fan i liked boku no dake no madonna better ^^;;

Now I wanna see it even more! Ive seen the first 3 episodes on youtube and it seems interesting and the female lead is "interesting".... but its soo weird that i wanna see how it ends up. but i really like watching Tackey and Kyoko starring together
they make such a cute couple ^^

i never thought takki would play that role. the drama is good. although i haven't finish watching it yet.
