i found a little bit of news of vanness doing another drama with f4^^ :

Following after "Meteor Garden", F4 will once again unite and shoot an idol drama next year! Not long ago, Set TV (San Li channel) had continuously "set up talks" with Jerry Yan and Vanness Wu triggering a full-blast "Set TV" discussions with F4. Yesterday (12th), F4 discoverer Angie Chai's first words were, " They will go together to shoot the Tourism an idol drama for the Taiwan Tourism Office." With regards to the preparations, Angie Chai said, " They will certainly shoot next year. Right now, we are aggressively coming up with the script already."

Angie Chai thinks that at present there are two biggest problems - one is the schedules of the 4 men and the other is how to place the 4 men together.

Vanness Donated 10% of His Income From Concerts to Charity

Ever since March onwards, non-stop concerts (F4 Forever 4 concerts, Van-Dalism in Tokyo & Scandal – Beijing concerts) made Vanness earn nearly 10 million in 2006. However, he never forgets to show his care to the needed like he donated 10% of his income from concerts to charity; donated the whole earning of the last added Van-Dalism concert to a child organization of United Nations. Furthermore, he raised 8 kids via donation to World Vision during his 28th birthday this year.

Right now he's busy in his 2nd solo album which will be released early next year. He flew back to the States to learn new dancing steps, hope this can bring new elements to his performance on stage. Next year he may spend more time in shooting movies (maybe one will be directed by Jimmy but it all need to depend on his schedule).

End of October, Vanness attended the 13th Annual South Korea Entertainments Art Awards, he was the first Overseas artist to get the All Star" Awards. He prepared & memorized his speech which was translated to Korean. He was so worry that he even rehearsed with Kangta & asked Kangta to help him out if he really forgot his lines. Finally, he made it himself & Kangta even praised him could speak in very standard Korean

Since the time of Meteor Garden up to today, F4 has never reunited in front of the big screen, however yesterday our reporter has learned that F4 is in the course of preparing for a new drama. In the beginning of next year they will gather together again. In the past, there is quite a difference between their remunerations, but it's getting close to each other at present. Each of them are said to be Millionaire Bachelors.

In the past they were ridiculed that, the value of their clothes can't even compare to Da S’s expensive shoes. But then as the TV drama became so popular and wide spread across Asia, Yan Cheng Xu and Zhou Yu Min took a more favorable start with more invitations for drama and endorsements.

Zhi Xiang Li, manager in charge of F4’s propaganda indicated, in the wake of the popularity of the four members becoming distinct, Zhu Xiao Tian has chosen to go for the profoundly wayward or perhaps the naughty and artful style. As for Wu Jian Hao, he has taken a more energetic image. Furthermore the company has unceasingly provided lots of inputs to propagate their popularity and exposures for the last two years, which currently came out with some apparent progress.

For example in the past, when some company looked for a spokesman, they would say “let’s take a look at all of them together” but now, for some active image they will directly say they want Vanness, for some artistic job they will look for Zhu Xiao Tian. Either in consideration of demand or reward, they are almost the same now. Their remunerations are all rank at 7-digits. Both Zhu Xiao Tian and Vanness Wu are as commercially attractive as Jerry Yan and Vic Zhou.


Zhi Xiang Li revealed that next year F4 would film a drama and series of promotional ads for Taiwan Tourism Ambassadors. The project will also include series of concerts, fans meeting and a drama.

Nowadays, four of them are of equal influences. This gave the management company a challenge. “ Right now, it is impossible for us to go back to the days of “Meteor Garden.” During those days the focus were on Yan Cheng Xu and Zhou Yu Min. Of course the fans for the others will not be convinced for this arrangement. We will consider every one when we work on our story. It may impose certain difficulties to make it more successful than “Meteor Garden”. We are still considering whether it would a single episode or a series drama. We just can’t let one play the lead and the others will just be decorations, by that time they should definitely play more or less the same shares in it!”

Quan Xiang Yu visits Taiwan, Vanness Wu joins him for Ma La Guo

At a press conference in Taiwan the day b4. Quan Xiang Yu mentioned that he admires Vanness Wu and hopes to work with him. When Vann's manager Zhou Jun Yi heard abt it, hw immediately asked Vanness to invite him to meet up. However, Quan Xiang Yi's manager declined the invitation, saying that their schedule is too tight. But last nite, Quan Xiang Yu decided to have dinner with Vanness at Tai He Dian at ard 8.40pm.

Zhou Jun Yi expressed, since Quan Xiang Yu said he admired Vanness, Vanness should respond out of courtesy. Therefore, called Quan Xiang Yu's manager, but they said their schedule is too tight. In the end, Quan Xiang Yu managed to arrange time out to meet up with Vanness.

I went to the Kelly Chen concert, and honestly I was really looking forward
to just Vanness's performance, especially how Kelly's first couple songs were pretty boring. After
he performed, (just two songs) I didn't want him to go. Just didn't get enough. xDD Even more
after the rest of the concert wasn't really exciting. Didn't stay for the encore. :/

Highlight for me was when he went "When I say Getcha you say Money!" "GETCHA" He holds out the
mic towards where I was sitting on the right side, no one said anything. LOL and then how cute of him
to save the situation, he goes, "I guess ya'll don't like money."

Well, there's my part. xDD Hot performance, in conclusion. (: Saw some of that sixpack too. x)

F4, a popular Taiwanese boyband, have captured the hearts of young women around Asia with their boyish charm, and now Taiwan's tourism bureau is hoping to cash in on the band's popularity to promote the nation's tourist industry.

Taiwan Tourism Bureau Director-General Janice Lai (賴瑟珍) confirmed yesterday that the group would be recruited to play in a television series called Wish to See You in Taiwan.

The project is sponsored solely by the bureau, she added.

Lai said that the series will include 25 episodes, with a majority of scenes filmed at selected tourist attractions around the country.

It is going to be a "touching romantic story," Lai said.

"We will place the information on our Web site [www.taiwan.net.tw] and ask for opinions about where the filming should take place," she said.

The series will target tourists from Japan and Korea, Lai said.

It is scheduled to be broadcast in both countries in November.

Viewers in Taiwan, however, will not be able see it.

Based on the contract between the bureau and the production firm, the F4 team will meet with their fans at promotional events organized by the bureau.

The bureau owns the copyright for the series and will make a 30-second TV commerical from program content for use in Taiwan and elsewhere.

Lai said she is confident that F4 will draw the attention of female tourists from both Japan and Korea.

She said one time she was invited to be the guest of honor at an event attended by Vanness Wu (吳建豪), one of the band members, and his fans. Lai was asked to draw lots to pick fans to come onto the stage.

"When those lucky few got to meet Wu personally, they were so excited that they began to cry," Lai recalled.

Overall, the project will cost the bureau NT$80 million (US$2.5million), which will cover the production and the budget to buy air time in both Japan and Korea.

Lai said many people may think NT$80 million is a huge sum. They may also ask why Taiwan cannot have documentaries broadcast on the Discovery or National Geographic channels, as Malaysia and other countries have done in the past.

"Air time in Japan and Korea is really expensive," Lai said. "And the tourism bureau in Malaysia has an annual budget of NT$7 billion, which is seven times more than we have."

Earlier this week, media reported that Jerry Yen (言承旭), the most popular member of F4, might not be able to act in the series because of a schedule conflict.

Chai Chi-ping (柴智屏), the producer of the series, said in an interview in the United Daily News that Yen has already promised to participate. The boyband would not breach the terms of the contract, she said.
