Yesterday at 2:20 pm, F4 Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Ken Zhu and Vanness Wu met at the Taoyuan Airport and took China Airlines business class flight CI018 bound for Japan as Asian ambassadors of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau. With double charms, Jerry's fans were the most, Zaizai in a very short haircut, Ken just bowing and not speaking, while Vanness limps on his injured foot, amidst hundreds of fans and media, with only 10 minutes short walk to wave goodbye to everybody. Jerry and Vanness sat together while Zaizai sat with Ken.

Jerry just discreetly arrived from Japan to watch a stage production, where it created small commotion when he got spotted. Just before he boarded, he left a message in his blog. No wonder his fans love him so much. Media asked him "Are you aware of your big status?" "then fans crowded towards him and answered for him" He's just shy, and also has a lot of thoughts right now"

As early as 10 am, fans have converged at the airport. A fan from Japan followed Vanness in Malaysia and then went to Taiwan. Japanese fans saw Angie Chai and asked her of F4 would have a concert in Japan this year and Angie just shook her head, and disappointed the fans.


F4 will hold a press con on March 7 in Japan and on March 9 in Korea. They will return in Taiwan on March 10 and on Aprill 22 will hold a fan gathering. Fighstar: As far as i know, Jerry's contract with Fulong ended and he has his own company now, but they haven't really confirmed having disbanded before..and they always say that F4 will always be F4, no matter if they have individual work, they will always be each other's best of friends.. ^^
and actually, i've never heard them saying that they have disbanded, these words of them disbanding has only been coming from the media's mouths..

Thank you for everyone's concern

VanNess hurt his leg during rehearsal for Genting concert.
However, it didn't affect his performance that night
Enthusiastic encouragement from the fans gave him strength
although it's tough, he managed to successfully complete the whole concert.

As Genting didn't have specialised medical treatment, after returned to Taiwan, brought VanNess to the doctor.
The doctor said his injury is rather severe, request for him to
rest and not to do strenuous activities for the time being.

However, he has many work already scheduled.
After Japan and Korea press con, he has to go Africa for a charity event. Africa's environment may be tough for VanNess due to his injury. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

F3 did send flowers to Ken to encourage him and Ken was very happy.

F4 will be going to Japan, hope Japan and Korea trip will go on smoothly.

She repeated the action for several times and made V laugh during performance.

1. About Vanness¡¯s hurt. He was hurt during the rehearsal for ¡°looking for Juila¡±, when he wanted to jump down. Because the plat is lower than Beijing¡¯s, he was more careless and twist the foot.

And from then on he started to keep waving his head in order to make up the incidence. He even tried to make the hair stand up again with hands, hahaha, so cute. So I hear Jiaying¡¯s loud laugh. Second, the bathrobe ¡®s destine was quite opposite. It was robbed by hundreds of flying fans and almost caused a landslide of the arena. Finally, a strong Japanese girl got it. The chief criminal had laughed down on the arena, even the dancers rushed to watch the vigorous fighting¡­ It was said that many people borrowed it and worn it to take photo .

well... seeing Vanness had to limp bcoz of his injured right leg that seriouly make me got hurted. even the way he tried to dance and walk around the stage with the cane , the way he tried hard to walk down and bow to receive the flowers, all make me love him more.
as all i know, he fell down from stairs during the rehealsal. then he was took to a local hospital. bcoz Genting is a highland then the doctor said he should go down to the town as soon as possible for a check in a hospital which is full of conveniences of equipments. but he denied bcoz of his concert. then the doctor must just gave him an injection for the analgesia. i watched a clip that even in the middle of the concert, he took out somthing to swallow with the water. and i think it's the analgetic.

The Tourism Bureau said that this week it will start actual operations: on March 7 and 9 they will hold two separate international media conferences in Japan and Korea. Because the Tourism Bureau Director Lai Se Zhen will personally attend, he would join hands with F4 as they announce the slogan "WISH TO SEE YOU IN TAIWAN", and also give away words of "beauty" "friendly and quality" etc. as its 4 big themes. Through F4's lead TV promo advertisement riding a taxi in Taiwan, as well as at the start of the shooting of the future idol drama, it is hoped that it would attract even the elder male and female fans to come visit Taiwan.

Highlights of F4's new drama: on April 22, at the Tai Da Ti Yu Center, they will hold an international fan gathering, and the tourism bureay estimated that aa much as 5000 fans will come to Taiwan for that event, that will spur a new height for the tourism industry. As for the plans in the idol drama preparations, it is to be shown in primetime at major TV networks in Japan and Korea. Sad face Jerry Yan and funny man Vic Zhou are really different! For F4's endorsement of Taiwan tourism bureau, they held a press conference yesterday in Tokyo. and a clear contrast was seen between the two. Even during the interview at the stage, Jerry's feelings were out of the control, and Zaizai had to take the attention to help him. Jarry had always thought of his own country as an ambassador, He is pressured, in contrast to Zaizai's relaxed and funny gesture as he began to speak in Japanese . He didnt only teased continuously at the reporters but also took Vanness and Ken laughing. Finally Jerry even laughed at his jokes.


At yesterday's press con at Park Hyatt Hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo, there are almost 200 Japanese press. NHK TV had a full coverage. The 11:00 starting time was delayed for an hour. According to age, F4 came out at the stage with Zaizai leading, followed by Ken, Vanness and finally Jerry. The other day when F4 boarded a plane bound for Japan, a lightning struck near Zaizai's window in the Business class. He was very shocked and felt so numb that a memory suddenly flashed in his mind -- 5 years ago in an entertainment show a paranormal expert warned him not to sit together with F3 in a plane. These had brought everyone scared of the thought.

In the plane, Zaizai was sitting with Ken while Jerry was sat beside Vaness. Zazai remebered that at that time, a stewardess was asking for autograph. As F4 goes to Japan and Korea, the four kept a coordinated appearance. Yet however, in order to clearly understand, Jerry and Vanness stays in one room while Zaizai and Ken are in another room. Not only were their suits were colored dark gray and black, even at the airplane seating and hotel accommodation they were into two groups. Finish the pleasant trip to Japan

F4 experienced two day's dense work and finished the promotion for Taiwan Tourism Bureau in Japan temporarily.

We were surrounded with groups of media and enthusiatics fans all the way from the departure from Taipei on the day of 6th.
Especially at the airport in Japan.
All the fans who had waited for us from the early morning lined up orderly at the arrivals area and followed the instructions from the clerks of the airport. It let us feel your enthusiasm and made the job go on smoothly.

We still accepted many interviews after the press conference today.
It's also successful to produce the programme "SMAP*SMAP".
We felt so happy and funny to join in the short play and games.
F4 had good interactions with SMAP and achieved a lot from the top team in Japan.
The programme will be broadcast on "SMAP*SMAP" next Monday.

Thorough the TV serial "Meteor Garden", Taiwanese group F4 Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Vic Zhou and Ken Zhu had gained many lady fans, and this afternoon, they would hold a press conference at Seoul Korea's LOTTE Hotel's Grand Reception Hall , attracting a much as 150 international and local journalist groups for coverage and interview, while F4 introduces the beautiful island of Taiwan to the Koreans.

The event was hosted by Taiwan's Jin Jing Zhi,which was attended by the Tourism Bureau Director Lai Se Zhen, Taiwanese Ambassador to Korea Chen Yong Chuo and Taiwan Tourist Association President Zhang Xue Lao and many more VIPs.

Director Lai presented that Taiwan is a beautiful island, Wen Quan and snack havens and golf courses all over the island, which the Korean tourists all love, especially this year on January when the Taiwan spreed rail opens, Taipei to Kaohsiung would only take ninety minutes. Taiwan has the world's 2nd longest tunnel --- Xue Mountain --- one of the world's 4 biggest museums - The National Palace Museum -- and the Taiwanese are warm and friendly. She reported that Taiwan had 16 million tourists last year, but only 200,000 were Koreans. There is no visa required from Korea to Taiwan, and had direct flights everyday. In order to attract the vast Korean market, a special gift for the Koreans was taken in the person of F4 as ambassadors, with the hope of attracting Korean friends to visit Taiwan.

When the host asked each F4 regarding their memorable experiences in Taiwan's scenic spots, Jerry recalled his military days in Kaohsiung and was hurt when he lost his love and wished Koreans can visit Kaohsiung. When this was interpreted to Korean, female journalists just screamed and then laughter broke at the scene. Vanness who is already a Korean favorite because of his duet with Kangta, recommended Taiwan's fruits like mangoes, lychee, peaches and especially presented the fruit delicacy Mango Ice. Ken who already published a cook book, recommended Taichung's spicy pot, pan-fried young oysters, beef noodles, Taiwanese breakfast and snack treats. Zaizai recommended the Sun Moon Lake with its Jade Mansion and small villas around it.

At the same time, F4 also revealed that they are now discussing with many Korean management groups, wishing they can soon come back to Korea to hold their concert.According to sources, as F4 went to Korea on the 8th, a Korean Management firm "SM Entertainment" was with them , and met with fans last night.

As the Spokesmen for the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan, F3 returns yesterday afternoon ending a 5-day Japan and Korean Promotional trip.

With astounding responses from Japan and Korea, F4 even had the media momentarily reduced to "frantic fans". During an exclusive interview, a Korean female host was ecstatic. She greeted F4 with such a 'high decibel' enthusiasm that she shocked F4 and grabbed Vanness Wu asking, "Remember me?" F4 agrees in unison that Japanese fans are more demure and tails them throughout whilst the Koreans fans are more passionate and screams of "F4!" abound everywhere they went. Taiwanese band hope to draw Korean tourists

Taiwan's hottest boy band, F4, visited Korea last week for the first time to promote their home country as a tourist destination.

Recently appointed as Taiwan's goodwill ambassador by Taiwan's tourism authorities, the quartet includes Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Ken Chu and Vanness Wu. They appear to be excited about their new project: making young Korean fans future travelers to Taiwan.

"I was so deeply impressed by the Korean fans' passionate outpouring of attention for us at the airport, I felt like I was on stage," Wu said in a news conference at a Seoul hotel last Friday. "The Taiwanese are passionate people, just like the Koreans, so I believe they will be good friends with each other," added Wu, who joined with Korean pop superstar Kangta to form the duo Kangta & Vanness to record an album last year.

The band members rose to fame as actors through "Meteor Garden," a Taiwanese teen soap opera based on a Japanese manga "Hana Yori Dango (men are better than flowers)" in 2001. The name of the band, F4, is short for "Flower four," which is the name the four handsome boys went by in the series.

F4 has become a household name in Asia ever since. In the same year, they signed a record deal with Sony and have released two hit albums, "Meteor Rain" and "Fantasy 4ever."

"Taiwan is a beautiful island country," said Yan who started his entertainment career as a model. "I strongly recommend you to visit the National Palace Museum when traveling Taiwan. Kaohsiung, the second largest city, also has many notable tourist attractions," continued Yan who served in the Taiwanese army.

Although the group had not been together for a while, each pursuing a solo career, they still seemed to have a lot more to show as a team, including their first concert in Korea. "Our agency is contacting Korean agents. I hope that all four of us will be able to see you again at a concert," said Chou, who worked with Korean actress Park Eun-hye last year in the Hong Kong television drama "Silence."

"It was fun to work with her. I also like So Ji-seop (the star of KBS drama "I am Sorry, but I Love You") because he has eyes with single eyelids, just like Vanness," he joked. Wu, on the other hand, showed great interest in Korean action films.

"I wish I could act together with Kwon Sang-woo ("My Tutor Friend") someday and also with Ryu Seung-Beom, the star of 'Arahan,'" said Wu who appeared with a cane because of his sprained foot. Some of his fans seemed to almost feel his pain as their own, but he made their hearts lighter by cheerfully saying "Jigeumeun Gwaenchanayo," or I'm okay now.

"I have been familiar with Korean culture and language from when I was very young," said Wu, a powerful and charismatic rapper, who claims to be a close friend of such renowned K-pop stars as Shin Hye-sung, Kim Jo-han (former singer of R&B trio Solid) and Lee Ji-hoon.

As a goodwill ambassador, the group will also be involved in the production of a 25-part television series titled "Wish to See you in Taiwan," sponsored by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau. "Try ma la huo guo in Taiwan, which is Taiwanese-style hot and spicy shabu shabu. And don't miss mango sherbet," said Chu, a multi-talented artist who speaks five languages.

The Asian heartthrobs left for Taiwan on Saturday, after three in the country.

During their ambassadorship tourism promotion tour in Japan a few days ago, they even guested at the “SMAP x SMAP” show and also went on a Meteor Garden spoof with SMAP. “Minna No Tabo” (JK: A Sanrio Hello Kitty Character) Shingo Katori also came out spoofing the female lead Shan Cai, which also made it hard for F4 to resist.

Their Tokyo trip attracted some 5000 fans at the airport, and now they were featured in a Japanese women’s magazine “Women’s Weekly” and even landed to its cover. Only a handful of Chinese stars had actually appeared in their magazine covers in the recent years.

Few days ago, F4 were invited to be the special guests in Fuji TV’s lead variety show “SMAP x SMAP”. That program usually guests foreign artists visiting Japan including Michael Jackson and Madonna, and will show the taped episode with F4 in April, in a power cast show of combined group strength of SMAP and F4 in a hilarious spoof of Meteor Garden. where Kimura wears a wig and played a TV director giving instructions. Tsuyoshi Kusanagi played as a student and the funniest was when “Minna No Tabo” braided his hair and played Shan Cai. In the program, both groups played games, where they relayed in mixing up “wan zi” (JK: are these meatballs?) together, and the loosing team was the one who would eat all those very spicy “wan zi”

After two years of going with solo projects, F4 formed as group again to promote Taiwan tourism in Japan and Korea. During their magazine interview, they promoted Taiwan’s tourist spots and was asked for their recommended places. Vanness promoted Yang Ming mountain first and then go north to Wenquan. Vic suggested Taiwan’s many beautiful islands, and said that when one is going with a girlfriend, she also wouldn’t want to run away anymore.

Because of the Taiwanese drama “Meteor Garden”, F4 had become very famous in Japan. A few days ago, while they were on a business trip to promote Taiwan local tourism in Japan, they guested and taped for the next month’s episode of “SMAP x SMAP” variety show. Shingo Katori was dressed as Shan Cai as he greeted F4, complete with a checked skirt and two braided hair, together with Takuya Kimura wearing a wig to spoof the F4 drama, in the midst of roaring laughter at the set. They also played a game of mixing up “wan zi” in one solid mass using a knife, where the loosing team with the smallest “wan zi” gets the penalty of eating the spicy hot “wan zi”.

After that, Kimura then declared that it would be F4’s generation from now on while F4 also declared their real admiration to SMAP and highly praised the achievements of its 5 members. Still at the end, they didn’t forget their duty and asked the viewers to come visit Taiwan.

After Japanese idol group SMAP invited visiting Korean stars Lee Young Ae and Song Seung Heon to guest in their famous show ¡°SMAP x SMAP¡±, they then guested Taiwanese group F4 when they went to Japan for a promotion tour last week. When the two famous groups spoofed ¡°Meteor Garden¡± during the show, Shingo Katori transformed himself into a rapid-mouth version of Shan Cai, bringing laughter to the audience.

Drama ¡°wave¡± became hotly popular in Japan towards the end of last year. In addition, Jun Matsumoto¡¯s highly-rated lead Japanese drama ¡°Hana Yori Dango 2¡± will wrap up soon so SMAP took this chance to guest the Taiwanese version F4 who were then attending a Japanese function, to be at their program ¡°SMAP x SMAP¡±, and played a ¡°Meteor Garden¡± spoof version in their show. Takuya Kimura struggled to play the lead part of Dao Ming Si, and together with the Taiwanese version Jerry as Dao Ming Si, they both played the classic scene of bullying Shancai.

But because the Taiwanese Shan Cai (Da S) is very beautiful, there was no one to take her place. This became easy for Shingo Katori who loves to copy ¡°Minna No Tabo¡± to play the role. But when he saw Jerry beside Kimura, and guided him how to play cool, Shingo came out of the set complete with two braids and played the oppressed Shan Cai. The rest of F3 continued to act as Lei, Xi Men and Meisuo, where Zaizai was the only one who appeared dim and stunned when he saw Da S being spoofed.

After this funny role playing, F4 and SMAP then played the ¡°Hua Yang Chuan Shao¡± travel show, using a fencing sword in a contest on who would be the first to ¡°seriously¡± produce as many stringed ¡°wan zi¡±. Also wearing a wig, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi dashed from behind Zaizai, and for a moment felt intimidated at Zaizai¡¯s height. After that, Takuya again shouted to everyone ¡°After today, it is F4¡¯s generation!¡± Then, F4 came forward to say ¡°We are very pleased to welcome them in Taiwan. They had always been our model, and we are very happy to be with SMAP.¡± That episode will be shown most likely in April.

F4 reunion grasp $2.5 billions for Taiwan

Next month, F4 is going to hold a fans meeting. This event already attracted close to 5000 fans to enroll and is expected to bring $2.5 billions tourist revenues for Taiwan.

F4’s profit generating power escaladed. A fans meeting named “Wish to See You in Taiwanâ€� is going to be held on the 22nd next month. Up to its deadline of the first stage couple days ago, almost 5000 participated as forecast by the Tourism Bureau, for who is looking forward to drawing $2.3629 billon of foreign exchange income.

Close to 5000 persons enrolled, Fan meeting is fully booked

The reunion of F4 once again demonstrated it astounding influence. The fan meeting on April 22nd is divided into two difference itineraries, 3-days-2-nights and 4-days-3-nights. In accordance with ratings of hotels and flights, it is further classified into “Economyâ€�, “Basicâ€�, “Deluxeâ€� and “Luxuryâ€� packages. After the first stage enrollment, “Economyâ€� and “Basicâ€� packages are sold out. Prior to this, Taiwanese fans complained about F4’s over-emphasis on overseas fans. However, organizer clarified that this is not limited to overseas, any members of F4ever fan club are entitled to register for the event.

Based on our understanding, almost 5000 F4 fans registrants are on their way to Taiwan for joining this activity. Since this tour included room and board plus flight, each person is going to spend $33,000 on average. Since many fans are mature working ladies, their purchasing power is not to be overlooked. Tour fees and expenses estimated to be $46,000 for each F4 fan coming to Taiwan. This will induce an extra $2.3 billions income for Taiwan.

Together with “Shen Hua� and “Bocrucawa�, F4 won “The Best Asian Artists� from the Japanese Golden Record Award and further established themselves as the leaders of “Hua Liu�. Their manager Chih Xiang Li disclosed, F4 will play games with fans and sing their reputable songs like “Meteor Rain� on April 22 event. He indicated that both fans and the Tourism Bureau would like to add more events. Unfortunately this may not be feasible due to time constraints.

Taiwan Tourism idol drama lead by F4 was scheduled to start filming in June. It was told to be altered. In order to bring back the memory of a girl, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu will take her to see the night scenery at Yang Ming San, to taste native eateries in Tainan. Chih Xiang Li expressed, “We heard about this news but we have not received the scripts. However, everything will be arrangement accordingly.�

From JUST-VANNESS

Here are some exclusive news that I thought you guys might be interested in...

1.As some of you might know, Van Ness went to north-east Africa for a meaningful event right after his concert in Malaysia. Photos of Van Ness in Africa will be updated as soon as we are allowed to!

2.F4 have just finished shooting the tv commercial for Taiwan Tourism Bureau. BTW, during the shooting, Ken brought his nunchaku to the studio. After a while, Van Ness took it from Ken and performed perfectly. We can see that Van Ness' ankle has perfectly healed.

3.Right now, Van Ness is in the U.S. shooting the music video's for the new album!
