Davey Havok is so hot.. Although he's 10 years older than me.. HAHAH..
But I still love his voice.

AFI... hmmm, on their new album, i like the tracks 1, 3 and four. i havent really listened to it all yet. but if i was me like 1 year ago, i would fall for the whole album. their miss murder mv is cool though.

theyre not bad... not all that good. theyre juss.... alright.

AFI is an ok group. God called in sick today and Miss Murder are good songs

i was pretty diappointed when i saw afi on trl.

and even more disappointed when i heard decemberunderground. it just seems like they're cashing in on the emo/screamo trend nowadays and it kinda saddens me.

did they change their look or something? i've heard about them before but i noticed them from their "miss murder" video because it's just out there now on tv alot more.

But their music changed alot.. But I still like it.

in all honesty, davey's hair. oh lord. why did he have to cut his beautiful hair? and dear lord, the amount of davey fangirls is astounding me.

i wonder if this will be like my chem. everyone only likes the lead singer and the good looking guitarist and doesn't care about the other members. poor adam and hunter(and ray and bob).

AFI is absolutely amazing; I saw them last Friday, on the 23rd, and they put on one hell of a show. Plus, I got to meet Hunter, holler at Smith (Jade's brother / tour manager), and Jade passed by, right in front of me.

I embrace their evolution in music; I'm enjoying the outcome of their changes...well, so far, that is, and I hope that, itself, doesn't change.

In my opinion, the best AFI album would have to be either AOD or BSITS, hands down.

As for DU, it's a great album, but I don't think I'll ever get used to "Kill Caustic." Oh, and I got Adam on my DU inlay cover, which made me super happy.

I hate their look but I honestly liked every song on December as well as Sing the Sorrow. I especially enjoyed the more aggressive moments like "kill Caustic" which is probably my favorite song on the album. Well I listen to everything, korean pop, rap, and also metal and its been a long history for me. I recommend it if you like emo-like stuff.

I think Davey's haircut is awesome, looks much better on him. Everyone always like the lead singer.. Ok maybe not always, but most of the time. Yea it kinda sucks for Hunter & Adam cause they dont get much attention (and guys in other bands who dont get much attention). I got Davey on my Decemberunderground cover.. l o l

I think it's funny how they're suddenly all over Mtv. They've been around and rather popular everywhere I go for quite a long time. And it annoys me how people are saying that they sold out just because their new music video is now on Mtv. Okay, sure.
Davey Havok is hot regardless what hairdo he has. And what kind of makeup. He is all around sexy.

People, people, forget the whole sell-out ranting. If you truly support a band, you'd be every bit as happy as they are that their music is being exposed to more people around the world.

Yea, alot of bands are going mainstream all of a sudden.. And yea, it kinda sucks.. But like ptoor said, I support these bands no matter what.

I guess I am just an old fan. I never said they sold out since they were playing on FUSE all the time. Seriously. I think they're going to be like Avenged Sevenfold. They'll probably only show one of their videos("Miss Murder" by AFI and "Bat Country" by A7X) and that'll be the only thing you'll hear from them on that channel. I mean, I can see why right now is the time for AFI to get big. But at the same time, I'm afraid of them becoming a cliche or something. I don't like them being compared to MCR but they probably will and I just compared them to A7X in a way, but it's the only band I could think of. If the next single they put out doesn't sound like "Miss Murder", it will probably not be played on MTV. Just like with A7X. On MTV, I never saw "Beast and the Harlot" played. Ever. I think I am just ranting and making nonsense.

and I do believe Davey is gay. It wouldn't surprise me. He had better eyebrows than any girl I know of.

but Davey is not gay. Or bi. Get over it. Just because your friend heard he was gay or you read it on some message board doesn't make it so. However, since I've made posts like this repeatedly over the years and people still refuse to believe he's not gay, I guess we'll have to keep hearing about it ad infinitum. I say we talk about Fritch. Or Smith. They're DEFINITELY gay, I caught them holding hands and plus they went to the prom together.

So there's your answer, if you were wondering. Plus, it was also mentioned on their myspace page, about how Davey thinks it's funny that people assume he's gay. Well, gay, straight, or bi -- it's his personal preference -- hooray for him. And, of course, not that his eyebrows should have to do anything with his sexuality, but yes, he has amazing eyebrows, which I am totally jealous of.


If you're wondering what the next single is, it will be "Love Like Winter," which in my opinion, is even more catchy than "Miss Murder." Will the media love it? Most definitely...or so I think. If that is the case, so be it; they're receiving the recognition they've always deserved, so let them enjoy their time in the limelight. Despite all the lashes at them and the ridiculous labels on them, I'm happy for them; they've come so far.

Sing the Sorrow is definetly better than decemberunderground. but it's starting to grow on me.

but about Davey's sexuality since I know it's going to go into a huge arguement but yes, Jade has said he's straight but the man himself has never that i know of.

AFI is amazing. I wish I could have gone to the music video premiere in NY but I had school and me mum wouldn't let me miss. I did see them live once at a concert...and Davey ripped his pants =D

Everytime I turned to Fuse their video "Miss Murder" was playing, hehe, they must be getting quite popular.
Their song was ok, quite catchy actually...people are saying their material before they became mainstream was better, hmmm, I think I'm going to hunt for some older songs of theirs now, always on the lookout for a good band/singer
