I remember a really cool musician from 99~01 named Kim Sarang.
I remember buying his first album and being pretty blown away to see an 18 year old produce his own music while playing his own instruments.
He hasn't released anything new in years... so I wonder
If anybody know swho he is, do you know what happened ot him?

I like him! I have his second album. I've been looking him up for a long time with no results.

btw, you guys heard of a rock group called Amp? I think one of the guys used to be in Kim Sarang's band.

I really want to see him make a 3rd album because he's probably one of the most talented singers in Korea. He reminds me of Seo Taiji by producing his own songs and playing his own instruments. It's a shame not that many people know him because his stuff is really good. I still listen to his first album and I bought it back in 99~00.

i've only heard his second album, the nanotime one, which is pretty good. techo-ish tunes if i remember right. haven't listened to that cd in a looooong time.

he performed U2's 'with or without you' with yoon do hyun on ydh's loveletter some weeks back and it was amazing.

Kim Sarang is like my favourite artist right now. His first and second albums were amazing, but I haven't got his third yet. He's seriously one of the most amazing muscicians I've heard.

This thread is pretty dead. like the rest of the other thread. -.-; It irks me that I cant find any single recent information about him.

I LOVE Kim SaRang but I can't find anything on him at all... his information is very limited and stuff that has been posted on youtube are old stuff from 07 or so on... nothing recent... I really want to know what he is up too... he a really talented guy... he should releast more music then this...
