everyone has an opinion on marilyn manson , and i want to know what yours is .

personally i've always found him fascinating , but i'm too scared to find creepy references or weird images in his videos that i've never got into his music . i love "the nobodies" , but that's all O_O;

i'm sure someone must be a fan , and someone must know something about him .

all i know is that i think his style is amazing . i started thinking about him again recently when i got sent a giant postcard-type thing from vivienne westwood with him modelling for "vivienne westwood man" . gorgeous . his videos (the few i've seen ) all make him look so beautiful , too .

definitely interesting . i wanted to see his tour but was a bit too scared .

all the things he's done are getting old. there's nothing shocking at all about him. he's turning monotonous. he's egotistical. he wrote a column in spin about the bar across the eyes that many artists have been wearing(gerard way, karen o., michael stipe(?)) and how he "created" it whereas he just drew from several influences. you didn't create it if someone else did it before you did. god.

i just dislike him a lot. i can't say i hate the man since he is bearable.

i've always thought he was creepy. err.. i've never really liked his music.

I don't lurve him but I do like his music and he's a very intellegent man so that's also appealing about him.

The first time I listened to him was when I was 6 and my friend had his CD (I don't know what kind of mother lets her first grader listen to him) and umm having been exposed to Manson at that age, I can safely say any potential interest in him was killed off immediately.

Dir en grey is a well known Jrock band that is more popular in the States than in their home country of Japan. It would take me too long to write a profile because they've been around for close to 10 years (not counting La:Sadies).

What music did you hear? The DEG fanbase is pretty much severed bewteen fans who love their old music and fans who prefer their new music. I'm a fan of their old music and I can't stand their latest style.
