But I don't like how so many people are saying, "ahh I miss the old w-inds.!" so much.

Anyway, I finally got done reading all the translations of Keita's blog! yay! His guitar broke...so sad. LOL. But he got a new one. =] I never knew he released a photobook...and he took shots in Italy. omg. I have to go find it. xD He's so cute too. Seriously, I think I'm in love with him again. Haha.



I agree. I think everyone misses the old w-inds. but I think there's a time that we have to accept that they've grown up already. And basically, they mature, we mature. We have to move on, right? Honestly, I miss the old w-inds. mainly because I miss the major obsession I had for them. Maybe that's why everyone misses the old w-inds. My obsessions have move on (mainly to KPOP now) and w-inds. music has moved on to something more mature. Anyway, I still love them but that's all I have to say. No hard feelings. ^^

Anyway, I'm listening to their music right now. If you could make your own w-inds. "Greatest Hits" album, what songs would you put on there? I'm just asking this for the heck of it. Haha.

Of course, I would definitely put on Super Lover ~I need you tonight~. Honestly, Keita's "Hi, baby. Don't you know me? I need a Super Lover tonight," is timeless. This song made me fall in love with them. Forever Memories has to be on there. It was there debut song and it's incredibly cute. I also like No One Else Like You. OMG. Just thinking about it, I realize they have too many songs (especially with all those other songs on their singles). LMAO.

vilankz~ thanks for the translations--I know it's a lot of work. Kieta is dorky+funny (actually they all are) but I don't understand most Japanese, so I miss a lot--and I haven't even seen them on tv for a few years. >< I guess he's still worried about upsetting the 'adults'. lol It's funny that he still calls them that, but they'll probably still be the same to him even when he's 50. I can tell he's practically bouncing sometimes when he's happy. I hope he/they never lose(s) that feeling, either.

I know I commented about this in one of my other posts, but as much as some of miss the boy version of w-inds., it would be really weird if they did the same kind of music regularly (not just sometimes) as men. It's good to hear them sing some of their older songs, too--I want to hear them also, done now (--like DBSK still does Hug...like Super Lover or No One Else Like You)--but ONLY if they want to do them--I wouldn't want anyone to feel forced to sing something they are tired of just because some fans can be a little too demanding. I don't even know if they do sing the old songs once in a while. >.<

I was also wondering about Orange kun's brother--I've looked around for a pic of him for a long time--but could never find one, even by looking with his name in Japanese. I'm curious about him--I think I read somewhere that he's a model? Does anyone have a picture of him? Just a link is okay.

i can never quite understand why w-inds isn't MORE popular than they are now!!
i love them, i like how their music has changed so naturally and gradually i mean i love the System of Alive album, but if they still stuck with that kinda of poppy sound don't think they themselves will enjoy it nor would the fans!!

i mean since their voices are good, i mean well mainly keita's voice (coz thats all we hear) is maturing then they should try new sounds!! at the same time i love keita's voice, hes one of my top 5 favourite male singer, he can reach the high notes and sing live, but i don't get why they don't let Ryohei and Ryuichi sing more, because they can sing, i quite like ryohei's voice too!!

When their songs were maturing at first it was really, really good! The Shiki single was a hit and the song's really good! They can really pull it off... but maybe the problem was their change of composer? Is Hiroaki Hayama still their main composer?

w-inds. recently released their Single Collect - Best Eleven CD. It's basically sort of like a 'Greatest Hits' album and came with four extra songs (which I've never heard before). Anyone listened to them yet?

I just finished watching Journey DVD

Some comments:
Although my w-inds. fandom has somehow died but well I kinda admit that I enjoyed watching this concert (well artists really are at their best during their own concerts)

Crazy for you/Top Secret/Devil/Fire Flower should have been released as a single instead of those crappy singles like Love is the Greatest Thing (I really hate that song), Trial, Hanamuke and the list goes on... (I think the last time that I fully followed w-inds. was during It's in the Stars era and after that my fandom on them went on the downhill)

Looks like Keita has given more fanservice in this concert though.

I like Feel the Fate with Ryuichi and Ryo's vocals.

I used to be a Keita fan but lately his voice gets kinda annoying and yes, w-inds. definitely needs more of Ryuichi and Ryo (which I have been whining for quite sometime now but it seems like my whines were futile)

The dance bridge was hot. Keita improved a lot in dancing now plus he got some nice toned body.

Good thing that they saved the best song for the last. I definitely love Fire Flower (with that guitar smashing thing)

Two things that w-inds. needs in their career direction are (1) a hot ass collaboration. Usually collaborations with other artists do some nice level ups in their career. (2) Get a new set of composers / arrangers, like STY, that will give them them some nice hot upbeat song.

I also want to give a big applause to their live band as they did a good job with balancing with Keita's voice

It's hard for me to keep up with them. t_t I haven't seen anything from Journey yet. but ryohei has cut his hair, its short and copper brownish, probs the shortest since he has debuted, it stills suits him though, he looks very handsome and Keitas hair has grown back, i prefer it long ish than short short like Beautiful life!!!
