I found the PV I was looking for--that tiny bit (from one of the fan-made things)---of Keita lying on the bed? I was trying to figure out which PV I hadn't seen yet--and forgot I'd missed a couple of Keita's. I knew it had to be more recent, so I didn't think it was a w-inds. It turns out it's actually Michishirube. (I'm a little behind. >< )

its weird how they are pretty popular amongst asia, like taiwan and hongkong but not so much in japan, i guess its partly to do with all the competition and with JE bands!!

i actually really like this song now, i like the lyrics too!! keita sounds great live as usual though i think it was a bit strained near the end but overall great performance i LOVE his voice!!
, and theres this echoing part in the song where keita sings 'everyday' and ryohei repeats and 'rainy day' ryuichi repeats, like singing not just saying it, but singing it in an in tune kinda way and not rapping ( and as ur aware this is rare ryohei and ryuichi singing) and the girls in the audience started screaming crazily hehe so cute!!

i really hope this yr w-inds will be more popular in japan and have more activities, like recently they have been a bit quiet, but they seem to be attending more shows now!!

I have to ask something, but first--I want to make sure and thank Aireia, moon_kaka, and esp. vilankz--for helping me to figure out the PVs in the those clips. I don't know what happened with the one you quoted, vilankz (I mentioned Michishirube in my other post, so at least I figured that one out)--I must have posted the wrong one. >< I watched so many that day.

I have a question about CDs, though. I've been trying to figure out which single to get. Not only am I short on their stuff to begin with (I only have Thanks so far), but I want to support them even in a small way, if I can. I can't buy all of them, so I finally decided on their Best Eleven : Single Collection (Korean version). It doesn't have everything--but I'll get the others eventually. t_t I hope. I like space Drifter too. I'm also thinking of getting Keita's KOE. Whoever has this--what do you think of it? Trying to decide between KOE and Journey (just the plain CD if I can find it at Yesasia).

I wouldn't mind having at least one of the DVDs (concert+PVs), but can't watch anything that isn't region 1, or all region. Don't have a region-free player...so at least I won't be tempted to buy those -.-

I just bought all their old albums (from First Message to ageha) and I really miss the old w-inds. It feels so nostalgic listening to their old songs. I don't like their new songs... Very disappointing

PC have got to stop just playing on Keita's popularity. i miss the pure w-inds. who didn't fall into the boyband hole of doom... well, that's what i call it. it's pretty much the whole fanservice if i take my shirt off it'll sell crap.
i wish w-inds. hadn't lost sight of what they originally wanted. I know Lead hasn't. I still respect them, but i think w-inds. are starting to lose that.

That's how I felt watching the PV, too. In fact that's exactly what I was thinking. I don't like it, so I hope that PC aren't trying to send us subtle messages. I hope they feel the same--and that they want to stay together for as long as they can.

Yes, Keita is the lead singer, so a lot of the focus will be on him-- but in the PV, it's almost like Ryu and Ryohei were added as an afterthought. ((This might not have anything to do with the PV director's idea, but that's kind of what it felt like. )) I don't really blame the Boys themselves, though--I don't know much creative control they actually have--even if they're veterans in the business. I do want to hear R+R sing more, too. -=- And what about solos from Ryuichi and Ryohei? Not just solos during concerts, but CDs of their own.

I wanted Journey--but I couldn't find just a regular copy--without the DVD. I'm thinking of asking Yesasia if they can find one, because they're the only ones I get my stuff from now.

i miss the old w-inds. too, but we have to understand that these boys have grown up and have to change their style~i mean style these days are changing rapidly and in order to promote themselves in the music industries they have to try many styles of music to fashion wise. i could be wrong but that's just how i think or look it that way. this is probably what the company wants...but of course the members are still the same right? they haven't seem to changed as much. i feel that what we see on t.v. or videos is what people want to characterize them but their personality is stll the same. they'll always smile and be w-inds.^^ so don't lose hope in them~

I officially completed the physical copies of their albums from 1st Message to Journey. I don't think I'll be buying their new album as I'm disappointed to the singles not unless they will release some good songs on the album.

Honestly, I'm surprised that ppl have said that they're disappointed b/c they're "playing on the Keita factor", haven't they always done this??? lol

To me, it seemed like the two got more opportunities later on. If we look at the older concerts, Ryohei and Ryuichi honestly don't even sing. You can't hear them even when Keita stops. It's like they turned off their mics. But in the more recent you hear their harmony, they also got to write songs and do solos.

Now this is all being said without consideration of their latest mv... cuz I couldn't sit through it -__- It was just too weird. But it's better than dancing for slow songs! It comes out so weird! (I hope no one here is a big fan of the dancing in Trial @_@)

What I miss the most is the way Keita sings. He sounds so whiny/screechy now, like he's trying to put emotion into the song but it sounds more like a dying cat.

Oh...I miss Keita winks. *sigh*And Ryuichi's raps and special lines in one or two songs. I'd always be sooooo happy when that happened. ^^ Now it's really rare to hear him even rap nowadays. But I'm SOO happy that the latest single (ame no ato) happened to have Ryu and Ryo rapping. I'll take a listen with 7th avenue.

With w-inds., they've seemingly lost their touch as you guys have mentioned. I mean, they're not considerably consistent...the changes are sooo distinct. With Lead, they actually sound like what they always were like. But w-inds. has changed so much. They've kind of really lost it. And yeah, the last MV was a totally disappointment. I really was looking for the storyline, but you know, the fact that there wasn't even much Ryu and Ryo...I was like...dead. Let alone, the fact that all of the PVs have really been the ones where Keita is the lead and there are no Ryu and Ryo raps whatsoever. WTH. I miss their raps and seeing them rap. Huhuhu~!

i miss the old w-inds too, i think they have changed alot i cant say whether good or not though but i guess in music u do have to develop yourselfs and change and adapt and in a sense w-inds has done that because they do have to grow up and mature!!
i loved the Love is message and super lover era and even long road!! i do feel that the management should by now allow ryuichi and ryohei sing a bit more rather than just rap and back up!! i mean everytime ryohei or ryuichi sings those one liners the crowds go mad so why are they not given the opportunity because the fans obviously loves them!!

I freaked out...but it was only a rumor. So sad. And the fake album cover they made for it was SOOO cool.

I actually love the album, although I wish Ryo and Ryu would get more rapping parts.
My favorite tracks are 'Hello,' 'Urban Dance,' 'Rock It,' and 'Tokyo.' Of course, I think a lot of the other tracks are really good as well.

I finally got around to listening to the cd even though I had it for a while

I was pleasently surprised, I thought this was better than their previous two albums, I really like spinning around, reloaded, and urban dance, don't give up but I love stay the most!

I love w-inds ever since the band debuted.All of them are cute n talented.They can really perform much better than some popular bands.My favourite is Ryuichi.He is the most good looking,in my opinion and his rapping is cool! I love his voice and wish he can sing more together with Ryohei instead of Keita singing all the time.Keita has a good voice n I dont get sick of listening to their songs because his voice has a great range. I will always support Ryuichi!

Tokyo is a nice song and the mv concept is diff from the old pvs. Ame ato is my favetrack on the album.

agreed, w-inds.' Seventh Avenue was definitely a good album. it was surprisingly relaxing and etc. they harmonize a lot more now. I hope Ryohei and Ryuichi get more solo parts in the future.

I LOVE w-inds! I loved them eversince i watched their Long Road and Love is Message pv and till now,Long Road is still my fav song and pv. XD. Keita Tachibana is AWESOME! I realised their fandom is slowly decreasing....sigh....i hope they'll somehow manage their way back up -.-

I love them!!!! I heard them since 2004/2005-ish. But been a superfan around 2006-ish!!!! I still love the boys. Can't get back and everyday sounds awesome. I hope to see the mv's out.

I also miss Ryu and Ryo's singing. Although when w-inds initially was formed, Keita is the lead singer and the other two were just dancers. T_T

I miss the system of alive and POL era where ryu and ryo got to rap , and you got to listen to them. I also think it's cool to have ryu singing energy and ryo stand your ground during POL era. T.T if only ryu and ryo will have a little bit more solos.

i sersly don't get the meaning behind it.

i mean clowns/circus in the media in general. its been blowing up in the fashion industry (comme des garcons for h&m) and a lot of singers are releasing circus-themed albums, or at least the photoshoots for them have influence from it (t-pain - thr33 ringz, britney spears - circus, justin timberlake - mr timberlake...)



this def. seems like a video you'd have to see i higher quality. its hard to see a lot of it =/
