Hopefully this single will do well, I really want to see w-inds. gets back on top again. I haven't bought the single yet, but I'm planning on getting the HYBRID DREAM/Rain Is Fallin' LE version. But personally, I didn't like this single as much as their last 2 singles~ Ame ato and Everyday/CAN'T GET BACK are two of my favorite w-inds. singles in recent years. But I guess it's good that they're experimenting with different sounds.

Oh, and I'm really disliking Keita's new haircut/color~ it's too short and too orange. Anyone with me?

i'm still on the fence about this single (though i do like hybrid dream and that they had 'boeing 747' (also in 'baby maybe') in it. plugging past lyrics makes me happy).
i also didn't like this single as much as their past couple, though i guess it's kind of experiment with their style.. i just hope they release more, faster.

i also read a thing recently saying they're friends with tvxq, which is cute. then i noticed 'rain is fallin' lyrics has discoTIC (mirotic anyone?) in it and it made me smile (:

revived this thread! i am glad that there is a thread about w-inds. at here. hehe! they are the only artist that i like anyway. hehe! i have been their fan for 4 years now.

they have started their summer tour. yay! but i don't think they are going to release an album this year.

their songs list was out and none of the songs are new song except 1, which was at the end of double encore. all the others are songs that we have heard before.

but what excited abt it is, many songs, though it's old songs, they have never performed it before and those are the songs that i really wish they could perform live as well!! innovator, light, still on the street, past tense and etc... recent songs such as can't get back, everyday, rain is falling, you are.. upside down, hybrid dream.. they performed all these as well.

stared at it for hours. and yeap. went searching for their pictures and videos again.
(used to have them all at once. about 40+GB of it. but after com crash thrice, you know, haha. last time too young to get an external HDD)
yeap. videos back, and was kinda pissed off with the shop (mise*XXXX) i think most of you wld know if you are residing in singapore.

then its like i ordered Keitachi's Michishirube Single and Koe single..
waited for a year and they told me its still "on the way"
gave it up and got back my hundred over bucks.
and yes, i hated it when JP DVDs are banned. i don't get it luh. hahaah. (blame the policy =X)


i dislike the first 3 albums.. it was kind of like alot of raps(sorry ryo&ryu fans) and uhm..
the tune is kinda hard to catch. thought that the songs in the Singles are far way better...
anyway, it was really a good start for them. especially their voice are 'breaking' that period..
my favourite album was the Ageha and Seventh Ave. .. love it loads.
deciding to get all their singles and albums (with & without DVDs, Japan & Taiwan press release) ..
but will only happen all at once if i strike lottery. hahas.

@apple1990: i know! wanna get all their stuffs are crazy!! i remember 4 years back when i slowly got into them, i decided to buy their original stuffs.. and knowing thye have so many stuffs before that kinda drive me crazy.. however, i have used almost 3-4 months to finish up to 85% of their stuffs.. i am referring just to their albums, singles and dvds. then.. early the next year... i have finally finished collecting their stuffs.. up-to-date. but this year's rain is falling's single.. i didn't get the regular ed.. sigh.. economy downturn and all.. not too good. haha!

ohh? why is that so? though i can buy their stuffs at local stores but my house is a bit far from those music stores; hence i always order online.. it's just so convenient. haha! and also, since w-inds. is well known around asia.. or worldwide.. i want to have a collections that comprise of their stuffs from multiple countries that are having legal license to distribute w-inds. of their local versions in their countries.. and i can't travel all around asia just to get those. lol.. hence i get it from internet.. as what you seen above, apart from japan's version, it has china, taiwan, HK and malaysia's version. i have done some researched and found out that only a few countries in asia that has the legal license to distribute their stuffs.. i mean by having their own local versions.. these countries are china, HK, taiwan, malaysia and korea. i have stuffs from all those countries except korea. hehe!

its kinda ridiculous for me to get w-inds. stuffs out from my CD collection cuz there's really alot of unwanted albums.

hahha! i know there are many non-japanese fans think that way... i don't know why. i think every countries that have the legal license to distribute that particular stuffs are valid and i have compared quality wise.. it's not much difference anyway.. except sometimes, some countries have registered for license to make some modifications for their own local versions... but taiwan and HK have been following exactly on japanese versions and many local fans of theirs are supporting their own local versions.. that's why whenever w-inds. has new releases, their cd will always top their chart in taiwan... causing w-inds. to go to that country the most often out of the other countries as they have most demand in taiwan apart from japan.

un.. true! if i aim to buy everything and anything related to w-inds. i am going to spend a lot of money as well.. it's really impossible to buy "everything" of theirs.. hence my main focus is only on their cds and dvds. all the others, i will buy it when i have the money or think if i really like it and it's usable.

as for online... yeah i think it's a bit inconvenient for international buyers who do not have credit card, unless you guys have other mode of payment such as pay on delivery and all.. or non-credit card payment.

anyway, my collections from other countries are mainly their old releases.. i started to buy their stuffs 4 years ago.. and so whatever release that were released since 4 years ago are japan's version because other countries are releasing it after japan has released it. hence we got it earlier... it's available nationwide a day before the official date released.

yeap. Singapore only has the Japan press and Taiwan press..
now its really hard to get any DVDs about Japan Singers for my country..
yup i know there isn't much differences between Japan and Taiwan press. my thinking is just getting those with DVDs as Japan press and the normal edition for Taiwan Press. In that way i won't lose out too much.

yeap its impossible to buy "everything". you could say its my hobby or maybe habit to see my idol's stuffs whenever possible.. and therefore all those small little things made me spent more. and the CDs selling over here are like twice or more the price of buying it online. thus its really hard for me to get my wish come true..


i started liking them in 2004 but was only 14 that year and my parents are quite strict until in 2005 when i see their first 3 albums selling in some mega stores.. they bought it for me and i started promising them that i will reduce the number of idols when i grow up. and in 2006, saw the shop selling japanese singers and actors stuffs and started ordering from them. at that time the staff there was really nice to me and she even helped me reserved those CDs for months. thats how i got some of their singles..


was quite elated that i'm not too late in liking them cuz i'll really miss out a lot more of what i have currently.. & there's only Seventh Ave., Love is message and Rain is falling/Hybrid dream left in my country and in only 1 shop..

^ you are from singapore? ahhh! i know a fan from US, she is originally from singapore as well... she said her dad often goes back to singapore and so she will ask her dad to buy w-inds. cds for her and her dad usually got it from HMV. she snapped pic and showed me Keita's koe album and she said that album is imported from malaysia. so, singapore does import w-inds. stuffs from malaysia too apparently and not just japan and taiwan.

ohh btw, just to let you know that i went to singapore last year and i went to HMV singapore and i saw quite a lot of w-inds. singles though and those are first press. i am happy to see it even though i am not buying it ... but just seeing w-inds. stuffs available in other countries make me happy. hahha!

mythnooona: nah.. not a big deal now. haha! i have digested it. just that this year's concert, there is a segment of keita having ero dance with the 2 female dancers.. very erotic and hardcore. lol. but that only lasted 1 night because fans on that night booed that segment.. it caused the atmosphere really weird and all... 2nd night, ero dance gone softer and 3rd night, they have completely changed keita's segment. no more ero dance and no body contact. well, i was just shocked of the ero dance. haha! cus we fans never expected it but what caused me heart break is those fans. they might not like the idea but they shouldn't booed them.. they might not like the female dancers having contact with keita but they are just doing their job.. doing what they have been hired for and i guess w-inds. is trying to bring smething new to fans but to me, that's a bit extreme. haha! those fans who booed.. how could they?!! are they really fans of w-inds.? their negative reactions affected the whole team that they were forced to change it.

apple: i observed your albums once again and you know actually keita's album that you have is from malaysia and not taiwan. because the album as shown in your pic is the same as the album that the US fan sent me. i remember we were laughing when my friend told me keita's album has that "PG" sticker saying it's safe for everyone. lol. but a malaysian fan told me that the malaysia version of keita's album she bought doesn't have that chinese sticker and PG sticker on it. i guess singapore add it in themselves? haha! try to look for "forward music" logo in that album. if it has, it's from taiwan but if doesn't, then prolly it's from malaysia. same goes to your POL album due to that hologram sticker. w-inds. cds from forward music china has hologram sticker too but it doesn't look like that one. it's round and not square. hehe! one thing to check where it is from is thru the catalogue number. Japan is usually starts with PCCA since it's from pony canyon. malaysia is PMDJ, HK is ACCA? i actually identify the versions thru a few ways. usually taiwan's version has this "forward music logo" and on the casing it has the transparent forward music logo imprinted.. china is that circle hologram sticker and malaysia.. PMDJ or that square hologram sticker. i have only one from HK; hence i can't say much. hehe!

sakura: aww.. i haven't met many w-inds. fans from the Philippines and so i can't advice you much. but one thing i can tell you is, many fans (of other artists) in your countries have tried buying stuffs online and it's safe.. so far, no complaints. as long as your shipping has tracking number, it should be safe. ^^

sakura: if they don't have the stuffs over there, you can try asking your friends from other countries to help you get it too.
at least its safer that getting from the internet. (:


sweet: i'm not sure about that. but because the HMV sticker wrote taiwan press.. then i got it.. my LOVE IS THE GREATEST THING's DVD got taken out before i bought it. thats the first Single that has no DVD and after this single there's no more DVDs from Japan stars. =/ haha.. i should probably look through my Keita's album.. for their first 3 albums are like bought from Popular bookstores. so i don't really care about where is it from cus since i started buying only at year 2006. XD for the concert i think the company is sort of 'upgrading' the 3 of them. cus u can see from their songs, it has become more manly and more matured compared to the previous few songs.. it started out with the song Ame Ato when i found those changes in the songs.. their changes started since thanks album though. hehe! they are constantly trying out different styles of music with different images as well and the most obvious we can see is from keita.

of course they need to change as they can't forever be the "young" w-inds. and i do like their grown up images and also their more mature songs too. i am not too fond of their debuted songs.. that era. i prefer those of starting from ageha's era and gradually they have changed from there ... different styles.. mature.. images and all. i do prefer the grown up w-inds. more even though most fans do prefer their younger days. hehe!

i don't mind changes at all.. and many ppl do not like their seventh ave style.. but to me it's fine.. but drastic changes.. especially ero stuffs? haha! too drastic and sudden for the fans.

i get my CDs from HMV Orchard too.
but i don't visit it that often cus i stay in the West.. and its really expensive to get the CD there.
i got my Best Eleven at $62 or $72. can't remember the exact amount. struggled for weeks to just get that album.

it's better for you to get it online then.. so, that's why you don't buy their dvd as well eh. i heard many international buyers like to buy it from yesasia because they said it provides free shipping after USD25 of purchase but now i think is USD30. i guess it's still cheaper than buying at your local store eh.

its definitely cheaper by a lot more if i buy online.
but for convenience sake, i can only get down to HMV to get it...
the other outlet is at CityLinkMall located at City Hall Station..

until now, the only DVDs i saw are only Works. Vol 4 and Vol 5.
for Vol 5, a week later after i saw it, its all gone.. thus i didn't own it..
they don't sell their concert DVDs at all.
concert DVDs i saw so far are Lead's UPTURN Live concert and Ayumi's only..


yup. the CDs are getting lesser..
no keita's at all. singles only left a few like yumenobashohe, Kawari yuku sora and about 3 or 4 more..
albums only left Best Eleven and nothing else.
thats what i remembered after about a week.

haha! to me, buying online is so much more convenient because they send it right at your door step.. if you were to ask me to go to shops out there to buy it... sigh.. it takes me ages to travel. lol.. or perhaps i am a lazy person?

i just wanna limit myself going out as well because i always spend so much every time i get out there.

I always wanted a w-ind single but it cost around $60, quite expensive I shall say. So I'm stuck with youtube either way. On average how much do you pay for the single and such? I think $60 is way too high for single.

60 as in which currency? USD?

i bought the single for.. if it's regular ed, it's around USD13 (converted to USD for you guys to easy understand)

limited edition (with DVD) is around USD16

if it's that expensive to buy just a single, i suggest you to buy their album only then.

i think w-inds. album and concert dvd are the things that fans musn't miss yearly. hehe!
