IMO, they're songs haven't been quite as good as they used to be. Personally, I think they're 3rd album was their best, although "IT'S IN THE STARS" was really catchy.

I love w-inds. I remember when they debuted...Seems like it was yesterday, though...Haha It was pretty cool to be able to grow up with them, listening to their music and watching them change. I can't but laugh when I go back and listen to their first album I still can't believe they're on their 5th album already As for a favorite song...They're are tons of w-inds. songs that I love, but I think one of my all-time favorites is 'ageha'. Such a nice song and I love the meaning behind it. It's one of the very few I've been able to translate on my own

Their recent single 'Boogie Woogie 66' is out! I really like that song, it's really catchy!!! and hopefully i can watch their 2006 tour as soon as possible.

yesss w-inds. I was a big fan during their P.O.L days, but then after a year or so I just lost track of where they were. A lot of their songs are very good and catchy, I love ALMOST all their singles (Long Road, Love is Message, Ageha ect.) and my favorite member is Ryuichi, because if you have ever watched their dvds, you can just tell he's the goofiest out of the group lol. By the way, what are they up to these days anyways?

They just arrived back to Japan. They went to Taiwan to participate in MTV concert. They were the only Japanese group which was invited. They sang Shiki, Trial and Boogie woogie 66.
They even went to Chen Yi (Taiwanese artist under Forward company) autograph event to support him.

I've liked them for ages since about 3 years ago but lately I've started to like other groups more (although keita will NEEEEEEEVVVVVER be pushed down lower than the top 5 for a contestant to my heart HARHAR ) my friend went to go see their tour in tokyo and bought me a ketia lightstick which now makes my life complete. It's quit big though considering I live in the UK and she travelled all the way to Japan to see them. But yes W-INDS. are my lovers. they're so cool.

KEITA IS ON SOLO.... He's debut of his new single is on October 18th.
Basically the songs lyrics is written by Keita, and mainly the song will be played by a guitar. This is one big step for Keita, Keita showing another side of himself expressing the love of music.
Anyways..... what about w-inds.? Don't worry, w-inds. will not disband. Keita will be participating in group activties and solo activites.
Ryohei and Ryuichi is also 100% supporting Keita.

It`s been 3 years since I first heard them (2003), in two more years it`ll be my 5th year anniversary as a w-inds. fan^^ So excited! I love Boogie Woogie 66.

oh yeah i love w-inds. my favorite japanese group too. Keita is my favorite member, although ryuichi is creeping up pretty closely . I went to their tour this year..it really rocked.

Since I didn't know that much about J-Pop, I requested on an other forum to recommand me some of the best J-songs, and, lol, all I got was W-inds MVs!
The first MV that made me like them was Superlover. <3

I absolutely completely love these boys! i liked them for waaay to long haha My favorite is Keita Tachibana. I can't believe he's releasing a solo album so soon. I litsened to his new song that he wrote the lyrics to himself, and it was great. It was awesome seeing them grow up and see them mature and turn into hot MEN. What i really love about them is their dorkiness. Always there to make me laugh, and....drool! xD

hmm i havent heard much about the other two. I suppose this is their time off. As for keita well he's already making a name for himself. He is the #2 top selling artist for today on yesasia. I'm not sure if he'll be more popular than w-inds., there are more ryo and ryu fans combined than keita. But who knows he might grab more fans along the way. I'm not going to doubt his potential growth since he's still developing as a soloist. I do miss the other two though *sniffs*

He hasn't left the group. He's just got a solo project on the side now, too.

I'm not surprised he went solo...I was waiting for it to happen. I'm not really sure if I like the single yet, though.

yeah they're not disbanding, im not suprised he went solo too. I think most artists will do some solo project once they've reached an amount of fame.

^ Whoa there....calm down. xP Don't worry...at least they're not disbanding. And dude...w-inds. works hard enough with releasing a single every few months. That's pretty frequent, and it's only been about two months since "Boogie Woogie 66" was released in September, and they did their usual promos for it on CDTV and all those other variety and music shows, so it's not like anything got cut short because of Keita's solo debut. And they tend to release singles about every four months or so, so even if Keita wasn't doing solo stuff, you probably wouldn't be seeing much of w-inds. around the airwaves at this time anyway.

I was surprised Keita is releasing his solo stuff so soon after "Boogie Woogie 66"...he's really working hard. In any case, Works Vol. 5 was released not long ago, and the THANKS tour DVD is coming out next month, just before Christmas. In the meantime...patience. xP

oh yeah..Dec. 20 is the release date of the THANKS tour.. i forgot..

i hope that they will stick to their schedule in releasing singles..

I just heard one of their songs recently...it was a catchy song and they were very young in the video....i think keita looked a lil starvin back then lol ~ and ryu was so cute
I thought they were johnny's boys...but hmm they rnt? its cool that they can compete with johnny's ppl... most johnny' boys arent that good...cant really sing/dance...
(but i hav to admit i like yamapi and kame cuz they are cute...)

w-inds. used to be really skinny when they were younger, well except ryu . Now keita buffed up a bit, ryuichi's in shape and ryo's still thin. Hm i think they are better than the johnny's kids too. Although i agree some johnny's are cute too lol.

does anyone know their song "thank you", whenever i look for it, i never seem to be able to find it. i play it on DDR alot, i <3 that song.
