i also hate dramas that deal with diseases. these types of dramas are so depressing. i hated korean dramas when they had this kind of theme. its a good thing they now know how to make happier dramas.

i usually hate the one's with the disease thing too but this one is good.
i'm in love with this drama and just after the first ep. the guy is cute in his own way (kind of like zaizai) and he seems like he's a good actor. the girl is so sweet and cute and lovable. she's not the annoying cute type but the lovable cute type.
i like the way the drama looks too, soft and peaceful.
i'm also in love with the the ending theme "Only Human" by K. i just dl it and listening to it nonstop.
after watching the first ep i could already feel the sadness. i can't wait for the next ep and subs.

Hmm, seems like there aren't many people who really understand that subbing does take time, especially if you want to make it perfect. I think as a viewer, you should try to understand that fansub groups do not owe you anything, they sub from their own kindness (haha, that sounds so lame), they do it for free, so it would be nice if you could at least give them some time to sub the drama, instead of being impatient and continually ask for subs, etc.

http://clubbox.co.kr/pbfansubshey there,
i think most of the people here do understand that subbers are working really hard to do subs. i think the people just really like the drama and are really excited so they keep asking...and probably will keep asking and may say that they're inpatient but they're willing to wait till the subbers have time. we all here truly do appreciate all the subbers out there.
and yes, thank you thank you thank you for the link to the clubbox...i had to put 3 thanks in there cause i've been looking all over for the clubbox.

I just watched ep 2...it's so sad...I felt so sorry for her parents coz they were so desperate not to believe it.... T_T
I watched ep 3 raw as well...(I'm really impatient) yea...I was kinda clueless but I caught the main gist of it....except the stuff with that doctor and the little boy....sigh....must wait for the subbed...oh well...
It's so sad to think that all the stuff she's going through really happened to someone...and to people now as well.... T_T I hope there's a cure found soon....
P.s. To Blushyy...all us non-japanese speaking fans do understand it takes time and know that you guys don't owe us anything and so we really are grateful...you have no idea how grateful I am to all the subbers out there who allow people like me to be able to watch and understand such an amazing drama...Seriously....if it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't even be watching j-dramas so a huge THANK YOU! ^^

blushyy, I really appreciate that your team subbed this drama, otherwise, I wouldn't understand a thing. Subtitles really make a difference in understanding a drama. So I'll be waiting patiently for your releases, I'm just sooo sooo glad and happy PBFansubs is still continuing this project. Lots of love and good luck

This drama has officially become my favorite. A really nice drama.

Yea, I noticed. I dunno the rating for episode 3, but the rating for ep 2 did increase from ep 1. Episode 1 started at 13% or something, and episode 2's rating jumped to 15%. However, I don't think the ratings matter, there're lots of good dramas that I enjoy tremendously, but the ratings are like really really low. Trick series is an example.

Well, that's complicated to tell. There's a long explanation at D-addicts long time ago, but I don't think I'll be able to explain it like that. Okie, so basically, there're 10 TV stations in Japan or so, and you can say that if a TV program gets a 10% viewer ratings, then it's acceptable. For TV dramas, a drama is said to be successful if it has 20% ratings or higher. It's alright if the ratings are from 10% to 20%. If it's below 10%, then it's bad, really bad. So for most dramas, I think they want to keep the ratings above 15%? In recent years, I think Gokusen had the highest viewer ratings, near 30%. That's a lot comparing to other dramas which only range from 9% to 18%.

Eh..to be truthful..the movie and the drama version of Sekai Chuu is sooo much bettert than 1 lire of tear..I mean yeah the actings are good in here and sad..but Sekai Chuu won like 9 Academy Awards..and even thoguh you knew what was going to happen and stuff..and moved pretty slowly..it was touching and sad

SO far the rating for this is pretty low..
its like around 13% ish..while
Ito Misak'sdrama is around 21.1 % wich has the top rating..
and Hana Yori Dango 2nd with 19.5% but started off with 23%
and 3rd is Nobuta Proudce17.0%
These three have the highest while all otehrs are only around 13% ish..
I hope this can do better

I don't know why but I like this drama a whole lot better than SekaiChu. Okay, so SekaiChu won like a bunch of awards but there's something about it that simply isn't heart wrenching and touching like this drama IMHO. But I guess we shouldn't compare the two, because SekaiChu tells about a sad romance, while this focuses more on other things like family relationships, the will to go on, the strength to fight the illness. It's pretty much different there. I enjoy it tremendously and even though the ratings for this drama are low, I don't mind at all.

I just started watching this, and have finished ep 2. I must say, this drama is getting to me, especially the ending theme with the pictures of the real Aya coupled with the music, it's quite heart-wrenching.

It's sad to know that such a lively young girl with so much hope is destroyed by such a horrible disease. The hopelessness the disease carries with it is devastating, and to see the parents struggled as they helplesslywatch their daughter withered away like that is too much. I have a feeling I will need more Kleenex for future episodes.
BTW, PB Fansubs is doing a great job with this, and I'm looking forward to future episodes. Keep up the good work, and for the love of Ryo.

Thank you, JessixFFx

But if it comes to releasing episodes faster than other groups, PBFansubs will definitely lose. *Goes down the drain* But it's still good to see other people watching our version even though we're slow pokes.
Anyhoo, the saddest thing about this disease is the fact that she is conscious, her mind is perfect, but her body is just a vegetable... and that's what makes me shed a tear or two every time I think about it and look at her photos. She knows it, but she just can't do anything about it. That's just so depressing...
And that part where she sees the kid's dad... and he was saying thank you... *cries a litre of tears*

You guys aim for higher quality, while we aim for speed.

in the end of episode 3. Aya asked the doctor. "Why did the disease choose me?" that made me cry long stop. I can't imagine how she feels, being 15, being in love with a boy and then BOOM! her world falls apart. Finding out how grey her future is. How she won't be able to do stuff for herself, won't be able to talk and express herself properly
Next episode Aya will be going out with the basketball team senpai again. But during the date, she feel and hit her head against the ground and lost a lot of blood.
