was watching an Arashi programme two days back and one of the members Ninomiya Kazunari performed 3 Gatsu 9 Ka, acoustic. i totally started crying.. partly cos Nino is one soulful performer (i like his rendition better than remioromen's, haha) and partly cos, well, it reminded me of feelings i went through watchin 1 Litre.

Nope, the romance never happened. The real aya's mother requested the producer to add in the lover, so aya can experience love, even if it's only in a drama. I wonder if the extract from her diary "Will I ever get married?" is real?

Oh, btw, the story is real, but the places and people are fictional. Note that the names have also been changed.

so at the end of the drama, who were the people they zoomed up on suppose to be [in the drama] like where they suppose to be certain people [once again.....from the drama] or where they just people? Cuz i'm pretty sure i knew who all the people were except for the family of three. I didn't kno who they were [not the first family of three but the second one] So if anyone can tell me who they were i would really appreciate it!! Thank you!

That could be haruto, his wife and kid, but nobody really knows. I suppose that is so because Aya told haruto to move on.

I happen to own this movie, and wow it was so inspirational for me. The part that will always stay with me is when she asks "Why did this disease choose me?" The world is full of weird things, and yet those who do deserve to die don't and those who don't do.

Well, those who has something like this will think of it. But they'll resolve to live with it and move on. Sad but true.

I love that part too. What Haruto said has to be one of the sweetest, most honest, simplest confessions ever, but it works. Aya must have felt very touched at that time.
I'm so glad that this drama is getting more popular even though it ended months ago.

i think those are suppose to be the people that were affected by aya's diary. the diary that was published while she was getting sick. i don't think they are suppose to be anyone we've seen so far thru the whole drama because than they would have given them more close up. also i don't believe that that family is ryo's or aya's bro's because it's only been a year after aya's death and the kid looks about 2-3 years old. i don't think they would have made haruto's character go off and marry while aya's still sick in the hospital. also aya's bro is too young to marry and have a kid. also i think that if haruto did marry they would have made it so that we know for sure it's haruto and his new family rather than having us guess.

sorry for making it sound matter-of-fact...it's only my opinion on the whole issue of it's ryo and his new family or not.

Bear in mind that the drama did not really show how old aya was when we last see haruto with her. Well you could be right too. The drama ending is really open-ended.

just finished watching the segment where haruto reads aya's letter. it was so sad, the fact that they'd live in two different worlds ;_____; however youtube made it feel sort of anticlimatic, because youtube loads really slowly for me (stupid internet connection) so the video always pauses during a dramatic moment >___<!

i think it does say in ep 11 that it's been 5 years since the last scene of aya with haruto. also i'm assuming that haruto would not go off and marry while aya is in the hospital. also i'm thinking that the writers and director would not do that to aya. another thing is that at the end when her mother is reading the diary she says it's been a year since aya died. even if they did have haruto marry and new family than they'd probably show him close up with the doctor and the parents.

if you think about it the people that came to aya's grave, at the end, were people who had family members that had the same disease and were affected by it but were people who were not intimately involved in her life (like those characters in the drama). those people represents the fact that aya's diary affected so many people out there that she didn't even know.

I know that it didn't happen in real life, but for the drama, i'm gonna think that haruto was by her side like he said he would be. Cuz that makes me happy for aya. i cried soooo much while i was watching this drama, it's so sad. i love this drama, it's very touching.

I think it was a great drama, it was a really touching and sad story. I loved the part where Haruto was crying as he read Aya's letter & when both of them were outside in ep.9 and he just fell to the ground crying.

Personally, it was a real TEAR JERKER at the beginning..
but then I just really got annoyed from that same old theme,

I just finished watching this yesterday, goodness. It was such a tear jerker. It's so sad, true and serious. I really like Aya's character, she seems very optimistic and Haruto's character was really sweet and kind, he's cute too . When I saw the first episode, I already cried, in the beginning it's sad but true. I bawled at the end T_T I know it's just a drama but it's so sad. I definitely recommend this for those tear jerker lovers.

omg i saw this series it is so sad i couldnt stop crying lol!!

i did find some parts repetitive rather than annoying [that's why i skipped some scenes ] but in the end, i still think it's a good drama overall .
however, i dunno the right words to describe this. seeing aya and the people that has some kind of incurable disease, i think they are awesome in a way, to be able to go through it. all they have is hope and if they lose it, then it's over. being a bystander, it's like seeing someone fighting a battle you know they'll lose and you think it's hopeless and it's depressing to watch.

does anyone know if this disease that aya had still incurable?
