hi guys.. i am a newbie here..
after reading a couple of pages from his thread, i guess this drama is a tear-jerker one (my perception after reading the title). however, what makes me wanting to watch this drama actually because it is a real life story..

currently, i am downloading this first episode.. gonna be back after watching it...

btw, where are the subs??

WOW I loved watching this!! i watched it on youtube and I have to say it made me literally cry a litre of tears!

I loved this movie! It's so touching and Ryu is HOT! I expected for him to kiss her of hug her anytime soon but yea, this movie isn't cliched like a lot of the k-dramas. lol. Still, I enjoyed this very much!

i couldn't stop crying even after i finished watching it days ago~ gosh it was terribly sad+depressing...i'm usually not the one rooting for sad dramas but this drama made u feel as if u're going thru wat she went thru, and that hurt. aya was really brave, and erika did a splendid job in portraying her emotions. overall a great drama

yea. this drama was awesome.. not as cliche as korean dramas..
and the storyline actually focuses on Aya and her family..
the part where her brother actually felt embarrassed of Aya being handicapped.. that part was sooo touching.. and i loved how her sister stood up for Aya and taught the brother a lesson.. i wonder if the real Aya did go thru all of that?

it might as well have been true, since they made the drama from her diary...but not so sure about asou-kun's character. was he a real person?

bonus=the songs are quite nice too, and very sad, befitting the drama

^ nope Asou Kun was created.. according to the mother of the real Aya, Aya had never experienced romance b4 so she asked for Asou in the series..

this was the saddest drama that i've watched buh i didnt cry, i thought i would.. this is more sad than korean dramas... AYA<3 ASO<333 i just finished watching it from youtube. i rate this the best BEST japanese drama

aaah, i just started to watch it yesterday...or was it the day before yesterday? but I think I'm on the fifth episode right now (haha I'm watching it right now) and it's SO sad. dude I can't help but cry everytime I see her struggle! she's so pitiful, but I love her determination!!

i cried every single episode that i forced myself to finish the entire drama in two days so i wouldn't be walking around with swollen eyes the entire week. Very good drama. and I love the two leads. This drama made me think... imagine changing from a healthy human being with so many options in life to someone fighting hard a cancerous disease and who's left with no options whatsoever, it really makes me consider how i use my time, and whether it amounts to something. I like how there's a resounding message in the drama. To be someone who can overlook physical inconveniences is something very challenging which few can overcome. I really admire Asou (is that his name?) for doing that.

so true..... i managed to do a marathon on this drama.. and today my face looks weird coz of the swollen eyess .. omggg...
however, i could say that Erika did a splendid job in acting out aya's character..
in fact, i found this drama really inspiring, it can make changes in people..

and ya know what? my birthday was on 23 may; the day aya passed away... i'm so shocked.

hehe, I finished the drama today. T__T it was GREAT. I found myself unable to cry when she actually died (the part where her dad yells "AYA") but I cried everywhere else. I cried when she talked to haruto, I cried when they were at her grave. mann this was sucha good drama. but ow my eyes are all swollen now. haha I think I've cried in every single episode.

i took caps myself for almost every episode up to 6

ooo...such a good series..it really took a litre of tears out of me.. all the actors and the actresses are
good, plus the hero and heroin made such a cute couple (referring to aya and asou of course) ...aya still look pretty while she's crying.. i managed to finish this series in one day, really made my eyes puffy..sad sad...

this series remind me to 'walk to remember' movie by mandy moore .. i was hoping asou give aya a hug as she once said that 'she want someone to held her tightly' or something like that..

1 litre of tears was the most inspirating and touching drama I had EVER watched! I shred tears in every episode, gosh when I thought I couldn't cry anymore because my eyes hurt soo bad. I was trying to compose myself but my tears just comes out naturally without force...

Me too! I really loved this drama. Serously, I think there wasn't a single episode in this series that didn't make me cry. So sad and touching. To be honest I didn't have a good impression of Ryo before this drama (Sorry Ryo-fans!) but I guess he isn't that bad now

Wow. I have to say after watching the third episode, that I hope my eyes aren't puffy by the time I get to work. GEEZ, this is SO SAD, but SO GOOD because Ryo is extremely hot

Oh man. I'm up to Ep.9 of this series and I am still going. I just started watching it today too! I seriously cried a liter of tears. I really love Aya. She is one amazing gal and Asou is one amazing dude! The actors and actresses did a superb job conveying this story.

I love how j-dramas do not have a stretched out plot that drags on and on and on just to fulfill time slots. Every episode of this story shows how Aya struggles with the different stages of her disease. She shows such courage and optimism for survival that it makes the tears pour down from your eyes.

Those who haven't watched it yet, MUST!!!
