I wouldnt think he died. I think its just reminiscence dream of how much he misses her.

It was weird how her sisters, brother, and Haruto weren't there at her grave at the very end.

I'm still confused about the ending. Weird how it was "5 years later" all of a sudden.. but i thought the part where it was her in "heaven" was actually a dream she was having after Haruto read to her.. and to foreshadow her death.

finished watchin it and i love the endin.
i find the grave scene and the flashbacks very good.
made me tear up alot (T_T)

just what I was thinking.. in my opinion, it's kind of like Heaven. She's playing basketball, running and walking freely because that's all she ever wanted to do but when she found out about her disease she can't do anyting. So I guess at the end she was able to do that... run and walk freely... smiling.. and Asou Haruto was there to watch her... being happy.

The doctor is Fujiki Naohito.

I want to watch this drama because lots of people recommend it but ARGG!!! I also heard it's very sad. I hate sad drama but this drama seems to be very interesting....

I was recommended by a friend and when I started watching, I cried (episode 1)
until the very end of the show, i was cried during every episode!
it is definitely a best drama I ever watched!

the part where i really really cried a lot was the christmas episode. from the part where she started her speech to the part where her sister was asking his dad to take a family picture..

there has been a rumour that Erika Sawajiri(the one who played aya) is the complete opposite of aya's character in real life. And that she was really bad to work with during the filming of the movie.

Not only was there no Asou kun.. but she didnt play basketball (she was pretty bad at P.E in general)..

i just finished the drama. This is the saddest drama ever in life! and this is inspiring me so much in life from now on. This is a really touching story ever! and its' even true. T________T. Why did she have to die? This is so sad. Her life that she had! Everyday she is crying and stressing because of this disease. Ryo was so sad in this drama. and he was the last person to see her go. He read her diary with tears. This is so sad. Why did she have to go like that? Whenever she said something sad i cried so much. Tears came down like a river. This drama is very touching. I hope that there is a cure for this disease eh?

Erika was a really good actress in this drama. How she cried and acted was so real. Everything that she did was so sad.

Ryo was a marvelous actor. And he is someone that can cry really good. Whenever he cried i cried also lol.

The love letter that she wrote to him was so sad and it made me cry forever. And the end espically made me cry even more. When he said "Are you sleeping?". T___________T. That was the saddest part when he read the diary and she and he just kept on crying.

i LOVED watching this drama! even though it was quite sad, i still loved the actors and actresses who portrayed the characters very well!! when i found out that it was a true story, i cried so much. i felt that my life is nothing compared to those who are suffering from an incurable disease!
